👍👍 A very easy 5/5. A great selection of imported beers, a great atmosphere, and greater food; GATVIC doesn’t miss. Their chili dog (ordered mine all beef w/chopped onions and mustard) is a sensation. Pure satisfaction. The sloppy joe is the ultimate comfort food. The hand-cut fries are second-to-non... People often mention beers, beer, craft, selection, great, good, tacos, friendly, chicken, nice,

This place should be wayyyy more popular than it is currently. The hotdogs are really good. I've tried various combinations, and I think it's best when you mix the dog and the chilli ie chicken dog with beef chilli or beef dog with chicken chilli -- the combination brings out the flavour beautifully. The caramelized onions is a great topping. I also tried the fish tacos and they are not bad. Drinks are a little pricey here: RM16 for iced choc. Definitely will be returning

Exceptional craft beer bar, the best we’ve visited in 5 months travelling SE Asia. The staff know their beers very well and have an incredible international selection. They will recommend beers based on your preferences and even the order to drink them. When you chose a beer from the fridge it is put in an ice bucket on the table and the staff pour in a little at a time into your glass. The food is also delicious and very good value. We had the vegan burgers and fries and they were incredible. Sure, the beer is very expensive. But remember you’re in a Muslim country with very little domestic brewing. Highly recommend this bar info you want to treat yourself to a few delicious beers and great service.

If you are looking for a bar with plenty options of craft beers, look no further. Vibe is good. The South American music definitely helps giving it that atmosphere. The place is beautifully decorated with the aerial roots of the creeping weeds. Food option is fine for a bar like this. Just right after you got a few sip of the beers. Service is attentive. They will help to recommend beers suitable to your palate. This is helpful when you are not sure which to pick.

One of the best, most hip, trendy and cool places I have come across in Penang. Fantastic service. They have a great selection of craft beer, at reasonable prices. The lamb tacos are divine -- maybe the best in Asia -- a definite must try.

Decent place with “Mexican” food. Had a bite and a coke and off we were. But was nice and chill. Would come again.

Totally love this little cozy restaurant located at a quiet corner of Malay St Ghaut. I'm totally impressed by the good services and delicious food served. We had it's taco with chilli beef and it was pillowy soft, the filling was tasty & well balanced. The Chilli Dog is a must-have! Ordered mine with caramelized onions & mustard and it's delish. A good variety of imported beers to choose from too. Imagine they'll change your beer glass for every type of new beer bottle or can that you open. A place to chill. Keep it up guys!

Great little joint for craft beers! The food was exceptional. Gambas, mushrooms, tacos, dogs.. we had it all. Wiped everything out with their delicious warm crusty bread. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the bread. It just kept coming. Visit if you want good food with your craft beers coz these guys know their stuff 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Highly recommended!

We found this place a bit confusing not sure what was up or downstairs. Food was quite OK. Service a bit over fussy. Craft beers very nice but beware, no price list so we were recommend cans of beer for RM71 + RM66 (+16%) each. Price sticker hidden on bottom of can. It's not that special. Was hot downstairs. No fans on. Worth a visit but beware of crafty beer.

This is an interesting corner lot joint that you should check out if you are in this area. Their decorative style is to give a rustic vibe with plants and relaxing atmosphere. The best thing is that it's shaded in the evening as you sit outdoors alfresco style. Plants and creeping vines also means that there's flowers and plant 'droppings' that may flavor your food throughout your meal. 😂 Their beer is imported and their selection changes often. I ordered their 3 glasses of beer set which today meant lager from Vietnam, double hazy from Scotland and new england style IPA from UK. Superb and enjoyable! The food is however delicious. Everything I ordered deserves high commendation. The shrimp tapas deserves special mention though. The flavoring of the shrimp and the delicious pairing of the bread is heavenly. Even though their jumbo sausage isn't exactly jumbo, the chilli chicken topping complements it well. Taco, burger and eggplant tapas was flavorful but the belacan chicken came off a bit dry. The waiter gets top marks for his attentiveness, friendliness and efficiency. I have never seen a waiter so dedicated to wipe the drinks condensation on the table and his great interactions. Kudos! Even though they have an upstairs option to sit in for their tapas selection (which you can still order from downstairs) the staircase leading upstairs is incredibly narrow and angulated. Don't attempt this if you are planning to consume their multiple choices of alcoholic beverages. Just in case.

We actually came here twice as we stayed just next door, so convenient for us. First night we had the craft beers, chilling at the balcony. The next night came here for a quick bite and coffee. Had the plant based sloppy joe’s which was pretty tasty, was just expecting some veges in it as well. Coffee was pretty good. Overall the vibe was nice, just a little cramp one the space due to the shop size. Staffs were friendly too.

Really cool, chill corner shop in a relaxed part of George Town. Head here for possibly the biggest selection of craft beers on the island, with an excellent selection of tapas. You can eat upstairs or take it easy at a street-side table while sipping on your drinks. Not to be missed if you’re visiting Penang.

Good place to chill and have a drink. Can be quite hot in the afternoon. Limited space but crowd isn’t huge. Beers kinda pricey but worth the money as the beers are rare finds and of premium quality.

If you like craft beer, this is the place to go. Overall: A nice guy, a simple menu of junk food and a mighty selection of craft beers. Drinks: Too much selection for a novice and, honestly, I didn't feel like the bartender knew his stock as his recommendation seemed like guesswork. But if you know what you want or you're prepared to take a gamble there's plenty to try. Food: The 'homemade' veggie burger tasted like it was, in fact, a Beyond burger. Which is fine by me. Dressed up and served Big Mac style for a junk food vibe. The veggie sloppy Joes were sloppy as you like. Veggie friendly: Yes Price: Steep. Beer ain't cheap in Malaysia and craft beer even more so. Come here to savour, not to chug it down. Service: the owner and/or manager was nice, friendly and smiley. Burgers were ready in a heartbeat. Atmosphere: just a corner lot on an empty crossroads with some South American music. Bring your own atmosphere. Other: those coasters...

This are the kinda times I wished Google had a 10 star review option. The food here is just something else, the fish and chicken tacos were absolutely good! Baked brie was the star of the show 😍 the ambience is great! The staffs are all so warm and welcoming! Loved it here!
