Khing Cafe (Georgetown)

Cafe Coffee shop Art cafe

👍👍 Really nice and cozy deco set-up. You can have a cup of coffee and enjoy the ambiance. Just wish there was a live piano playing. It would be perfect. Coffee is nice and so is the creep cake. Not too sweet for me at least. The only setback is parking at the busy street where car park is hard to come... People often mention nice, good, cafe, coffee, cake, crepe, Coffee, staff, Cafe, great,

Impressed. This is one of the prettiest cafe I have been to for a while. Almost every angle is Instagram worthy. Came here for coffee after our lunch and ice cream and it’s a great place to spend an afternoon. Drinks and cakes are good. Service is good too!

Found this hidden gem in Penang. This cafe has soothing lighting & nice ambience to have a long chat with your family or friends😍 Though they took awhile to serve your order but the service rendered by their staffs is ultra good. Don’t forget to get different flavours of crepes to go along with their home made caramel coffee latte.

Stumbled upon this nice Cafe tucked away among the shop houses. Newly renovated interior with interesting decor which made for a pleasant stay while we enjoyed some cake and refreshments. Service was very good, just the right amount of attention and friendliness.

First time in this cafe we are welcome wt the staff very friendly☺️. We tried their layer cake bcos according to the staff it is signature and homemade by their lady boss. I am so suprised!! The cake is sooo delicious not very sweet even my niece managed to finish the whole piece. We ordered the crossaint as well and Yes very tasty. Unfortunately on that day Coffee machine not working so we can’t try their signature Coffee. Will come back again for their layer cake!!!😋

I ordered the Vegetarian Croissant, it came with a simple croissant with a vegetarian meat & some sauce. I am quite disappointed with how they make the croissant. To make it worse, the croissant is like just taken out from the fridge, cold and soggy. I thought croissant supposed to be crisp & tasty. How can they treat customer like a fool, serving overnight food & worse, no quality control. I'm extremely disappointed with the food they served!

a  green tea & chocolate crepe is good ( Knows the taste...) The interior of the house creates a stately atmosphere. And it’s nice and cool inside. ( cool n comfortable chair )

The cakes and coffee here are good. The Vienna Coffee is the go-to coffee for me. Friendly staff. The atmosphere is great. I especially like the Western ambience on the first floor and the armrests are very comfortable.

@Khing Cafe (Georgetown) Overall a perfect experience for me. Food was great. Service was great. Environment perfect! Staff friendly. It is a must go cafe. Can't believe all the pictures and figures drawn and made by the owners. Must give a thumbs up. One of the photo I love very much is the doggie photo, they got poodle, korgie, just wonder if possible the owner can see my review and on my next visit, properly next 2 weeks, I can see they got new friend, schnauzer there as well (here I attach with my schnauzer❤️‍🩹. But this is as a lovely place as I have in BM. Highly recommended!

Khing Cafe is a popular eatery located in Beach Street, Penang, Malaysia. It is known for serving authentic local cuisine with a twist. The cafe is housed in a charming colonial building, which adds to its allure. Apart from the delicious food, Khing Cafe is also a great spot to hang out and soak in the atmosphere. The cafe's decor is a mix of vintage and contemporary, with wooden tables and chairs, and quirky wall art. There is also a small outdoor seating area, perfect for people-watching. Overall, Khing Cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking to sample some authentic Malaysian cuisine in a charming and laid-back setting. My favourite would be the ice coffee served with nice yummy cake.

Quite a big cafe with very nice interior that mainly serves cakes. There is a second level but we didn’t explore. Ordered a pandan Mille crepe to share which is also recommended by the staff. It was decent and not sweet (good for those who dislike overly sweet desserts). But RM19.80 for a slice of that Mille crepe is quite steep imo. It is however a good place to chill and catch up with friends. Will I go back? I’m not sure tbh. MAYBE when I’m craving for Mille crepe and looking for a nice place to chit chat.

😠 Premium price tag but lousy service! There should be no star at all! I bring my family of 5 came for dessert around 8.30pm. There quite a few empty tables around but we were assigned to a long table underneath a staircase. The area is really tight. The wooden stool is not stable and there is no bac...

🫤 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...
