Cosy little place. Nice ambiance although it’s small. The menu limited choice but interesting. The presentation of the dish are simple yet elegant 😍😍😍 lastly the food was fantastic yummy. Will definitely come again and again until explore all their dishes😋😋😋

Food is excellent. Place to sit is very limited. You need to make reservations and I think your session it's about 1 hr 30 minutes or 2 hours. Something different from normal japanese restaurant. Service is excellent. Food serving time is fast. Should come and try

Small and cute restaurant. Seats at the window are small and hot. Food portion is small in general and quite pricey. However they were delicious thus I would be going again to try some other items. Love the agedashi tofu and yakitori.

Amazing food! Must call to book apply first as they don’t accept walk in. The choices are limited but you can feel it’s uniqueness and quality there. Highly recommend their Unagi Kabayaki Ochazuke! For those who like okra this is a must have too (Chilled Okra). Have come several time already and never disappointed with their food. 👍🏻✨✨✨ Keep it up!

If you want a nicely decorated cozy Japanese like place with good rice burger, I recommend you to come here, since its in hin bus depot, you can still walk around after your meal. However, I would be hesitant to come back to this place because of few reasons. Waiter is slightly clingy and talkative for me (I understand that he's trying his best to provide service, its just that his way of service is not my cup of tea). We were asked how's the food for several times when we were eating, and since the food is served one by one there were few times where when theres no food on the table the waiter was trying to small talk. My expectation of a good service is, only ask how's the food once, when we're paying and only small talk if its at least our second visit. Another reason is the food is average but the price isn't (see photo for receipt). The tuna wasn't fresh (2 out of 3 mains we ordered has tuna) and there was no food item that really stood out except for the rice burger. Dessert was also overpriced when its only matcha ice cream, mochi and red bean. I wouldn't have higher expectations if the price is lower. I do think this place has potential because of its location and ambience, perhaps they need to review their menu and I'll visit again. I wish this restaurant all the best and I'm sure they can find people that can appreciate their service and food.

The food selection is unique and unlike a typical japanese restaurant. The taste of the dishes are unique but yummy. The restaurant is very small and cozy. So if you're coming in a party of more than 2 pax, it's recommended to call and make a table booking in advance.

A small size japanese fusion I would say for this eatery. Kitchen is visible but I would say the food is tasty. Enough flavor to it and portion is not big and its enough though. Depends if you are a big eater. Check it out.

Very nice ambience. Cute little Japanese place. The food was immaculate, quintessentially Japanese: not heavy handed at all. The tofu dish was my favourite. Highly recommended.

Heard a few friend recommend this canteen for sometimes already. Finally I'm here to experience the food. All the food i ordered is really good. Altho the price is slightly on the high side compared to other Japanese Cuisine Restaurant, but definitely worth it. The menu have only 1 page. Altho the choice in the menu is not much but i guess all the choices is really quality and premium. Location is easy to find as it is located inside hin bus depot. But the parking space will be very hard to find if you visit on Sunday as there is pop up market at Hin bus. Overall super good experience. Will definitely come back again.

Found this small but very cute outlet! Food taste great. And most importantly is the very Unique Window Seat! The table seat one inside and the other one outside!!! It is very comfortable! Cannot find this anywhere else in Penang!!! Updates Oct 2022 However, the owner has decided to seal off the window with glass panel. Therefore, the unique window seats are no longer available. The outlet is temporarily closed!
