Japanese ramen restaurant at Kimberley Street. Walked in and ordered crew's recommendations: Kyodai Special ramen and Tonkotsu ramen. Kyodai Special is a seafood ramen with spicy, flavourful and stimulating broth. The spicy broth is amazing. Shrimp tempura is another star. Ramen, marinated half-boiled egg and scallops are equally delicious. Tonkotsu ramen is served in savoury-milky pork broth. Toppings you get are char siu, fish cake, marinated half-boiled egg, black fungus, corn, seaweed and spring onion. There is also a pinch of minced garlic, which further elevates the taste and aroma of ramen. No extra charges to refill noodle. Service is good with polite floor crew. Serving speed is normal. Ample seats.

One of the best Japanese Ramen Cuisine in Penang. The ramen taste good and the soup is delicious. Dumplings is good taste to eat too. Friendly and Warm service. Ambiance is comfy and good. But there is limited car park around that area.

My 1st experience at this shop is immediately after MCO. One small table sits two pax only. So me n son goes in to try it out. Its not bad but as we are the only two customers at that time it feels odd. But this time it feels so different. The place is running at full capacity and lively. The food is superb. Especially love the waitress who serves us with a lovely smile seen on her eyes (because she's masked) and with her recommendations we ordered more than enough 😀. Anyway we love the environment and food is super delicious. Do give it a try and you will come back for more 👍👍👍

Overall quite nice, best if they can improve the noodle. Personally find that the tecture of the noodle not very nice. Place is clean and service is good and friendly. Come early to avoid crowd as usually there is queue during dinner.

Kyodai Ramen 哥哥の拉面, the Ramen specialist has quite a few Ramen options for diners to choose from... as well as some Japanese delights. Expect to find some classic flavors like Tonkotsu, Sapporo Miso and Spicy Ramen... items are reasonably priced and probably more economical than some bigger Ramen establishments in town. A worth-exploring place for those who seek for a bowl of decent Ramen without putting a dent on the wallet.

Ramen heaven. That's where we were after lunch at this wonderfully inviting place. Friendly and quick service, quaint decor and proper, tasty Japanese fare. Located in Kimberly Street, throbbing with locals and tourists, this place is a great bet to sit down for a filling bowl of ramen and drinks to cool you down. We ordered the Black Garlic Kuro Ramen, the Spicy Sapporo Miso Ramen, the Pork Chop Katsu Curry Rice and a plate of Tori Karaage fried chicken. The dishes were substantial, colourful and weĺl presented. The flavours were perfectly balanced and in harmony and nothing was jarring. Brilliantly cooked meat and veggies with a heady mix of broth, curry, rice or noodles. The fried chicken would have been great with a glass of beer which we'll probably do one evening. Our drinks today were chilled just right and very refreshing. Of the several places we've eaten at since moving to Penang this surely has to be added to our favourites list. Keep up the good work of giving people joy with food 😊.

The food taste is so normal but the price charged is so not competitive. It took long to serve the food, think the chef is pretty new. Garlic rice not fragrant and grilled salmon not tasty. The soup base of kuro ramen which is the recommended one is normal only. Another recommended dry ramen also nothings special. The interior renovation is basic and simple, not much investment.

The chairs will try to kill your back. It's bare metal!!! And ramen, well...I have something to compare with. It's 4 of 5. That's the dish I was hunting for...and it's ok, not the best in town. Anyway if you are passing by - nice to visit. Also 16% tax is not included in price menu, kinda annoying this approach.

It’s a great place, the service it’s really good and the food it’s very good. I had the black and white ramen, amazing flavor, the karaage chicken and the pork cutlet, both hot and crispy.

I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it was delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful, explaining the great promotional deals! I'd Highley recommend, only downfall is there's not much vegetarian options

👍Perfect place to have Japanese food in town. Tasty ramen with reasonable price. The portion is more than enough for me. I like their karage chicken very much! A lot of choices that makes me feel like come back again and again. Owner and staffs are very friendly! You may raise your special request about the food, they would love to help.

Delicious ramen. Decor and presentation are spot on. Lived the quirky wooden spoon. Would definitely visit again and recommend to fellow ramen enthusiasts.

Most authentic ramen we have had outside of Japan! Very good flavours and the snacks we had on the side were amazing. Good and quick service and the design inside was cool. We asked for no egg and got extra chashu instead without having to ask which was very appreciated. Thank you! ☺️

The Ramen is delicious, the portions are big and there are many add-ons to choose from. The snacks and side dishes, as well as the drinks were very good, too. Absolutely worth the price. The restaurant has a pretty decor, a charming atmosphere and the service is great. The food came quickly and the server is very friendly. 100% recommended, a must visit if you’re in Georgetown!

Average ramen, like the typical ramen you can get from Japanese restaurant. The broth is not flavourful, ramen egg is tasteless, Cha Shu is good though. The issue here is that the ramen doesn’t bring out the soup’s flavour, they just don’t bind well. I expect more for what I have paid. The shop marketed they do provide free noodle refill but it actually can only be redeemed on next visit. The warm water cost RM2 per person, unlimited refill. If you order one but share with another, they will deem you order two. Pannai kira😅

Japanese-style, mainly spicy noodle and rice dishes, which are tasty yet oily and salty for the health conscious. Polite and fast service. Cool interior.

Came here for their delicious ramen. The staff service are superb here, always very polite and ready to serve. Her recommendation for us to change from rice to Tonkatsu Ramen was one of the best recommendation ever!

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
