This place is a bit hidden as i drove past it twice in a row but once inside i must say it was a good place to meet friends and have a drink. They has so much on tap including G&T, the bartender was friendly and great to talk to as you wait for your drinks. I also ordered from the kitchen and the food was fresh well prepared. would definitely go back to sit by the fire and have drink or two.

I enjoyed my visit here. Met a lot of friendly customers and staff. I mistakenly lost my wallet here. And I was able to recover it with everything in place, not even a cent missing. I will forever respect and support such a place. Thank you to your staff for being human and honest.

Staff great and people are awesome there and it was my 1st time there and I'm not from George and usually when I go to a bar in a small place like this they usually don't like visitors lol {they only want their LOCALS there} But yes anyway its an outstanding place but it's the people that made it that way.

Place is quite dark so feels a little sad. Service is not okay. Bartender is friendly enough.

Went to watch the first World Cup rugby game with a friend who likes rugby. The TV sound was on mute and they could not turn the sound on - technical issue. We were listening to hip-hop while the game was on. At least the company and the R90 steak & chips was good.

The place to stay when traveling on the N2 Eastern Cape. Comfortable, clean and neat units awaits. Friendly staff will look after your needs. There is a vast garden in which you can walk and relax after your travels. The breakfast will beat any breakfast on the N2 hands down! There is a swimming pool.

On weekends this is the place to go in the evening anytime from 10 to 2 in the morning... This is the only club in george but it is pretty good..

I’ve always had a good time at this pub however this past weekend Saturday 1st of July 2023 one of my friends got shoved by the bouncer on shift that night. I called the manager but a waiter came instead and nothing came of the situation. Despicable!!

The bouncer is so disrespectful we've been there since 7 after 9pm he came to our table out of nowhere made a scene and told us to leave. We informed the staff members and left. Hopefully the management team sees this and take further action.

Good evening to all who read this review. I am not one for negative reviews as I try my best to promote people and businesses. Unfortunately I have reached my limit with Shenanigans George. I have given then multiple opportunities of doubt and now they have failed for the sixth time. After this evening of bad service all around, getting my food order incorrectly twice. At the end of the evening they have also deprived me of what is owed to me regarding the drinks special they are advertising. Their prices have increased substantially .Services has not developed and specials have not been upheld. All over, as I am a born citizen from George and being proud of my city, unfortunately I refuse to promote Shenanigans Irish Pub as a recommended place to visit in George any more. Good food and service deserve good credit. At this stage this place is far below standard.
