Great vibe.service a bit slow, as they are very busy wich is understood. Great portion size, value for money.

Very welcoming and excellent service, nice atmosphere and clean. Chevonne made the evening very plesant and also recommended the specials. Food was okay, Prawns however was overcooked and and cooked in a curry souse which was horrible. As a Prawn lover i know exaclly how it should taste and be cooked. Otherwise it was all great. 7/10

Had their poke bowls and they were very good, it's the only place in town that has it. I've also had their fish and chips on a seperate occasion and it was also pretty good. The fish tank in the front is kind of cool.

Can't give 5 stars to a chain restaurant, but it was pretty good. The waitress (caylenne??) Was excellent. The food was good, and desserts were divine. A good value meal overall.

Wednesday half price sushi at George John Dory. Sushi quality very good, freshly made the whole time. They will see us again.

Had Portuguese steak served with chorizo, lemon herb and chips. Steak was cooked to perfection, tasty. Partner ordered fried hake served with lemon butter and chips. Both meals were delicious. Can recommend this restaurant.

The food is absolutely stunning and more than enough per serving. The service is as excellent as the food. Make sure you come early enough to secure a spot.They seem to be very popular and the restaurant of choice in this area. We as a family had a good time

We went out for dinner 4 adults and 2 kids, My son found a long black hair in his chicken strips attached to the crumbs quater way through his meal, we called the manager and his reaction was that none of his kitchen staff has got long hair it must be from the front shop, he asked if he can replace the food and my son said he does not want it anymore. The manager said he would take it away and remove it from the bill, paid the bill just over R1600, got home to check the bill, and the food was still on the bill. They will never see me again.

Zuki (Zukisani) is a very attentive and friendly waiter -on the ball! On the hottest day in George we were served fresh delicious sushi platter with a Kiwi and Melon crush💙 What a pleasure !

Did the sushi special on Wednesday, portions size was perfect not to small like other places. Staff was friendly and helpfull all the time so the service was excellent.

Popped in for a bite on the way home from airport! Despite loadshedding, we had a lovely meal served by a delightful, knowledgeable & efficient waitress, all with a smile. We'll worth a visit!

The Wasabi doesn't burn at all. I told the waitress and she just smiled at me. The rest of the sushi was covered in sweet black syrup. Not good.

Friendly welcome and service. Delicious food - waitress got our order correct. All in all a great breakfast experience. Highly recommend it.

The Prawn special is well worth R99. The rice could have had a bit more taste to it but the prawns were excellent.

I would like to thank Monica our waitress, a lovely young lady dedicated to making our experience special, even though she knew our bill wouldn't be high. Monica's efficiency and care would make her an excellent trainer. Monica is an asset to John Dory's, Eden Meander George. Our meal was excellent too 👌

Our waiterress was awesome, thank you Keasha for the fantastic service. We went for the 1/2 price sushi. Sushi was average in flavour and quality. Next time we'll stick with the platter to share.

The best seafood franchise in George. So much better than the local Ocean Basket. They are always busy!

A special shout out to PJ and the team at John Dorys Garden Route Mall. We didn’t book for dinner plus loadshedding on a Wednesday 1/2 price sushi evening. Greeted with a smile, expectations managed and only waited for 10 mins. The service was excellent and the food was delicious as always. See you soon.

My brother and I had a hearty breakfast consisting of bacon eggs two slices of toast and 2 sausages. I was pleasantly surprised because I thought you eat only fish dishes at John Dory's. A definite recommendation 👌

Situated at Eaden Meander, it is a nice family restaurant with area for the kids to play. The kids play area is outside, but enclosed and also underroof. As this is a franchise, the menu is standard and you can check online for any specials being run. It is wheelchair friendly and also has it's own bathrooms within.

Good food, good prices and all round good place to be.
