By far the best food I have had in the Garden Route. Had 3 dishes in 2 weeks and I can honestly say it is the best food I have tasted in years. The flavour and presentation is just perfect. Waiters were not the best but the food makes up for the lack of service. The hostesses was very welcoming and the water arrived very quickly that we ordered from her. Just make sure to check the bill as we were charged for drinks that never came out. But with all this being said I would would rate it as the best food in the Garden route. Well done to Chef Jonnathan.

There is a nice venue in the back that can be used for meetings or small functions. Very cozy on wintersdays since they have wood fired stoves all over to heat the place.

There is something special to this little place called 101 Meade and it's a definite must try if you in George, or just book yourself a flight ticket to go experience this restaurant. Booking is a must to secure your seat to the most mouth watering dishes you will ever taste. We were met by our waitress, Sharon, who was an absolute star, very bubbly and upbeat. Our night started with a slice of complementary bread that tingled our tastebuds, and from this point we knew we were in for an incredible night. Onto starters where we were taken away by a multitude of flavors and textures. The mains, this was incredible! The flavor, the spice, the wholesomeness, it was some of the best dishes we have ever had. Final course, the dessert, the pinnacle point to the evening, the litchi sorbet taking you back to when you were a child; the chocolate fondant oozing out onto the plate mixed with Ferroro ice cream, just some of the wonderful options available. Compliments to the chef and his team for such a divine culinary journey!

A brilliant restaurant in the heart of George. The Christmas menu was a wonderful surprise of salmon, a prawn risotto and fillet. All cooked to perfection. The service by Tamsin and Malan was superb. The artwork on display by Doris Bart and others really added to the decor and atmosphere. 101 Meade has been the best restaurant visit that I have done in the Garden Route this Summer. I will be back for a visit again. The staff, food and decor made for a perfect culinary experience.

Let me start with saying that I can't wait to come back here again!! As you can see on the pictures, these meal look delicious. But I can say it tastes even better! As a starter, we had liver and as the main meal we both had the 350 gram sirloin steak with bone marrow, roasted potatoes and exotic mushroom sauce, Yum😍 The products are fresh and of high quality - which is definitely noticeable. The kitchen also looks organised and clean 💯 Besides having a nice meal, we also had a very nice sit down in this restaurant. Because this place looks very beautiful!

The staff were excellent. They worked as a team to ensure we had an amazing overall experience. We were presented with a Gin presentation by Lelwa, who had a good understanding of the different gins and what they paired well with. We were then served by Asanda who was fully present and tended to our every need. The atmosphere is warm, and stylish. A lovely restaurant for a relaxing evening of fine dining. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful meal and our waiter, Marc, was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations and was also very pleasant to talk to. Our compliments to the chef and all the kitchen staff who were also very friendly and interacted with us. The front of office were very professional, but friendly. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and will definitely return and recommend the restaurant to friends and family.

Had a lovely Sunday dinner at 101 Meade. Wait staff are absolutely wonderful and friendly. I chose to have the Oxtail, pork shin and red wine jus with mustard mash as my main. What an explosion of flavour. Their menu caters for everyone eventhough it's not massive. All their food is prepared freshly and as you sit in the dining area you have full view of the kitchen. There is also a private dining room available and a bar to have a drink whilst waiting to be seated. Don't forget to pick up some homemade pickled onions, garlic and various other goodies. A fine dining experience and I will be back for sure.

Mia hosted a function for us. Her venue is perfect for about 30 guests. Her delicacies, both sweet and savoury, were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. All home baked with her personal touch and using fresh, quality ingredients. I would recommend Dis Tyd to anyone, especially the discerning diner.

Found this little gem on our way to Wilderness. One of the best meals that we've had here, food is so fresh, vibe is great and staff are friendly. We had the tuna tartar which is a must, the fish and chips (fish was so fresh and batter perfectly crispy) and the walnut salad, and the bone marrow (probably would recommend more as a side for a steak). Highly recommend, would come back 🥇🤤
