The experience here was amazing. We didn't know what to expect but it was well worth the visit. The queues were quite long but moved relatively fast. Within the farm, you will find restaurants, a market and other activities. The strawberry picking is a real highlight and if you do this, you won't be disappointed at all. The strawberries are delicious!

Shocking..... Will never order from them again. I ordered the fig and brie burger. It looked good, but the bun was so old it crumbled. The pesto that was on the bun was so bitter I could not eat it. Ended up just eating the meat. My wife had the open meat sandwich..... no words can explain... the sirloin meat was half still frozen and Grey in color. Was so disgusted I even forgot to take a pic. Disappointing thing is nor the manager or chef came to apologize for the disgusting food. And still had to pay for it...

It could be better... I was managing it I would have more fantasy games like adventure trail courses. Real horse riding, not pony rides for kids. Get a bigger train and a longer railroad. All this because nobody really goes there to pick berries. So I would bank on my customers (the young and the young at heart) getting the best time of their lives.

We've been going to Redberry farm every December since 2010. I've seen it grow over the years to the corporate institution it is today. I was very excited to take my 2 year old there this morning and knew what to expect this time of the year. I know it's the silly season. Unfortunately it was not the crowd of people that disappointed but rather the service. Our food arrived at different times and the chips we ordered for the astronomical price of R 55 came after we had all finished our meals already. I declined the order but found out the waiter was going to end up paying it. We then went strawberry picking like every other year. As we left the lady forced us to push the container through a square hole to push all the excess strawberries off. She then pushed the second container through that made the first one fall on the ground. She refused to pick it up and turned her back on us to help the new arrivals. I feel you have become greedy and the rude service left a sour taste in my mouth.

Beautiful place. Great big berries! Lovely grounds, clean and well organized. Great produce and jams available at stall area. Kid friendly, lovely play park for kids. A bit too busy between Christmas and New Year. Kitchen unable to handle all the tables, waited 2 hrs for coffee and eggs. Remember to bring a hat and picnic blanket, and snacks if you dont want to wait in queues. Stroller for small kids recommended, a lot of walking between maze and berry picking. ⚠️ Warning, the Maze is too long for kids under 5. About 2 hrs walking.

Excellent food as always. The chicken burger was large and the chip platter did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and the food came quickly fresh and hot even though it was quite busy. The maze is currently lush and thick after all the rain. It is still as confusing as ever. Price: R 40. There is now a large strawberry which makes a lovely landmark. It costs R50 to go inside and climb to the top. There is also strawberry picking and they are juicy and ripe currently. Even after the initial holiday rush there were plenty of strawberries. Other activities consist of a kids train ride. Price: R20 Bumper boats, bubble balls and go karts.

Redberry Farm is the best venue for small events. I would really recommend it for birthday celebrations and business meetings or breakfast. My boys enjoyed picking up berries and having snacks. The berries are very tasty and juicy, let me not spoil it, it is best you try it yourself. One downside with the farm is that you are not permitted to have berries while in the garden. You can only have them once done. They the venue out and let me know what you think 🤔.

I had the pleasure of visiting The Redberry Farm and I must say, it was an incredible experience! Here are some of the highlights of my visit: Spectacular strawberries: The farm is home to rows upon rows of luscious, ripe strawberries. Visitors are able to pick their own, which is a fun and unique experience. The strawberries were sweet, juicy and simply delicious. Artisan eateries: There are several on-site eateries, all of which serve delicious food made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the berry smoothie and the freshly baked scones with homemade jam and cream. Outdoor activities: There are a variety of activities available for visitors of all ages, including a hedge maze, a lake, a train ride, and a giant outdoor chess set. It's the perfect destination for families or groups of friends looking for a fun day out in the countryside. No entrance fee: It's refreshing to find a place that doesn't charge an entrance fee. Visitors are able to pay for the activities they wish to participate in, which makes it an affordable option for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend The Redberry Farm as a must-visit destination in Garden Route. The farm is well-maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there's something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're a foodie, an adventurer, or just looking for a relaxing day in the countryside, The Redberry Farm has got you covered.

Love this place! So much to do, so much to experience and to taste. Lots of great activities for the whole family, as well as great products at the shops and the food at all the restaurants are great. The maze is tricky, but lots of fun. Pack sunscreen!

Quite disappointing. The first waitress that came just disappeared and never came back. Finally we managed to get another waiter. He said the food would take 45 minutes to an hour. We ended up waiting just under 2 hours for our food. And when we got our food it was not even hot and there was nothing special about it, nothing on it that should have taken so long to make.

Every time I visit, Red Berry has expanded and upgraded even more. A great day out with so many activities for kids. And good restaurant options too. Not forgetting the strawberry picking!

It's quite nice but a little bit to commercial for our taste. Feed the bunny - pay, walk the maze -pay, ride the pony - pay, pick strawberries - pay and then you are being carefully spied on not to load the plastic cup above the brim. But other than that it's a beautiful setting and a lot of planning went into creating the place. The locals seem to enjoy the place.

I absolutely love this place and the strawberries are so sweet and tasty. We had so much fun walking around here and picking strawberries. The giant strawberry is also really cool. We didnt go inside to watch the view from the top but on my next visit we will definitely do that. My only regret is not taking the bigger container to go berry picking

Amazing place. Very instagram-able 😄. Nice activities for the whole family. Affordable prices for strawberry picking, hedge maze and other activities. Couple of restaurants on site for food. Enjoyed our meal from Bounty Eatery. Perfect for a day out with friends and or family. Definitely going to revisit and conquer the maze this time. Wished the operating hours were a bit longer.

Beware the scones. They don't in fact serve scones here - it is actually a stodgy bread roll tray bake which they microwave to order... It's inedible. When I sent it back the waiter didn't ask what was wrong but just brought me another rubbish "scone" - which is again rejected, since it was still a stodgy microwaved bread roll and not a scone.

Be prepared to take your shoes off and pick strawberries in a semi-muddy field, felt like a kid all over again...it was beautiful. The 4 of us agreed that their strawberries were the best we've ever had. The facility allows for purchase of coffee, beer, wine, cake, pizza and other foods after the pick. Kids would also love the swings and playing on the sand. An all rounder for the whole family

A must visit when near George! A wonderful day out. Especially if you have young kids. Visit the world's largest strawberry. Have a meal at the ice cream parlour, pizza place, eatery or farm stall. Pick your own strawberries. For the kids there are play areas horse riding, mini train trips, pedal car race course, bumper boats or feed the rabbits. There is also a huge maze for the older kids. Prices are very reasonable. Restaurants are licenced to sell liquor. There is even a wine shop where you can taste wines. Lots of parking. Very neat and well run resort.

Worst service I ever had in my life. After serving the rest op the table they informed me they only had some of the ingredients for my order. 30min later the forgot to bring my food? Will never go there again.

We visited your place whilst on holiday recently in Wilderness. Spending the day there, the time went quickly as there were lots of activities and treats to enjoy. Lovely open-air atmosphere, and we are missing the sweet strawberries already!

We went strawberry picking and then had some lunch here. What a wonderful experience! The strawberry picking was amazing. There were a few places to pick from to eat as there are a few restaurants and some shops. All very nice! The food was amazing! And there was also some live music. Definitely recommend!!

This is a family friendly huge farm/amusement park. A huge hedge maze, pick your own strawberries, cafes, wines, a giant strawberry tower and more. It was very busy the day we went and could not find an open table to sit at so you may want to pack a blanket and make a picnic out of it. Really cute gift shop.

Stunning location, lovely food, and awesome play areas for the kids. They've added another new play area, which is great! We could see the kids play from our table. They have a baby changing facility in the bathrooms, which was fantastic to have! Always a lovely place to visit with the kids! We received good service. Yet another great experience overall.

We spent time there at the Christmas market (which I assume is only there during the festive season). It was really great. The farm itself offers a great day outing, especially for someone with children. The restaurant offers good sized meals.

Took my niece and nephews there for some fun over the holidays, and boy! Did we have fun! Such a pity we got there late so were only able to complete the Maze. Definitely a MUST for all ages. Lovely setting. Ample parking. Food and drinks sold. You can literally spend an entire day there. Can’t wait to go back!

Always a joy to visit the VERY popular berry farm. Very busy over the festive season. So much activities and the food is good. Fresh strawberries all around. Great place to visit if you have children that need some outdoor entertainment.

Red berry Farm is an amazing place to visit, it feels like an Alice in wonderland for young and old. So much to do and yet so little time. From train rides, to go carts, strawberry pickings and so much more and the eats tickles everyone’s taste buds. Really a Gem of a place, really enjoyed the day.

My favourite stop whenever I go to or through George. It seems to be expanding every time I go there. I would definitely recommend picking your own strawberries and spending the time going through the shop. My favourite things to get from the shop are the strawberry syrup and the strawberry salad splash. You have to also get cream to go with the strawberries you pick. It's so delicious you might not make it home before they are finished so make sure you pick enough.

We went on a day visit and it was really fun. We did strawberry picking and they were awesome. It's rainy 🌧 season now so pathway are wet and clay so comfortable shoes that can grip advisable. They also have many restaurants/ Cafe so you sorted for lunch. They have many other activities even for kids. Definitely worth checking out when in George.

Redberry farm is always a great outing for the kids. There is so much for them to do, even activities that do not need to be paid for as well as some lovely paid activities. We love going for an ice cream and playing in the play area! Food is great, with something for every taste.

  • 5/5 Micaela S. 1 year ago on Google
Didn't pick strawberries but did other activities. We did the maze which was heaps of fun. Wear comfortable shoes as the maze can keep you busy for a while (we walked about 45 min). All activities cost a small fee and are definitely value for money. Also stopped at the café which had delicious milkshakes. Very close to George airport which is great.

Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful place, at least one excellent eatery that we tried, Bounty, but there are others that looked good. Photos with the biggest strawberry in the world are essential. Amazing construction. Some lovely shops with plenty of strawberry themed paraphernalia (normally this type of merchandise leaves me stone cold, but there is actually some lovely stuff). Pick up some excellent jam and cheap, fresh, flavoursome strawberries on the way out.

  • 5/5 Rita L. 1 year ago on Google
Quite a unique, enjoyable experience. So much activities to do on this farm. We only did the strawberry picking and maze. Both were such a pleasure to do. The strawberries were nice and sweet and the maze was very exciting and surprisingly difficult, but hugely enjoyable. The choices for food are really varied. Friendly and efficient service.

It was an amazing experience, the waffles was awesome and the portions were very generous and the pricing was really surprisingly affordable, the Framboos ice cream was also very tasty, I highly recommend this experience to anybody, was worth it's trip for the day from Hartenbos to George.

The maze is quite challenging, and yet LOADS of fun. The gift shop is filled with the cutest gifts and the best snacks. Lovely vibe and attitude among the staff. Can't wait for my next visit, even though i know it will only be in a few year. A definite must-visit!

Our experience was awesome. I think I will be visiting at least 1x a week. The atmosphere is amazing, the strawberry picking is fun, the food is great, the gardens stunning, this is such a peaceful fun place. I absolutely loved it. Will highly recommend a visit to the Red Berry Shed. The gift shop is lovely. Such variety of goods and preserves and you can buy delicious fresh strawberries if u dont feel like picking your own. GO DO SOMETHING FUN.

  • 5/5 Danay van L. 1 year ago on Google
Outside of season it can be difficult to find completely red strawberries. And they only allow you to buy a small container of R25 so ensure that they have enough for everyone. You can still do the maze, water activities and ride on the train. It was nice and quiet so we had loads of fun walking through the fields of strawberries picking out the best ones. I would definitely recommend going there if you have children as they have loads of little restaurants offering a variety of foods like ice cream, waffles, lunch or pizzas.

  • 3/5 Adhiti N. 5 years ago on Google
Their milkshakes and chocolate cake are excellent. The issue is service. When it's busy, waiting to have your order taken, the tables usually aren't cleaned so you have to wait for someone to take your order and then half the time you have to ask for the table to be cleaned, getting your food, getting your bill takes forever. It's very disappointing.

A lovely setting in serene surrounds with the Outeniqua mountains in the background. Redberry Farm, or Strawberry Farm as it is also commonly known, is a wonderful attraction for family and friends. They offer a wide variety of fun family-friendly activities. Our favorite is the train rides through the Strawberry fields, as it's my son's favorite activity. Often we'd go there just to enjoy the train rides on our way back from town or shopping before heading back home.

Was one mind blowing experience! We had so much fun. My parents came to visit for a few days so we had a whole family day at Redberry Farm and the maze was awesome, great food, spectacular service and love the cocktails. We will definitely go there again

Our family has the privilege of visiting this place every year and every year we love it. The food, service, people and the amenities are all wonderful. You simply have to experience it for yourself. What's great is that they are huge on family and there are plenty of activities to do with your kids. I had so much fun on the racetrack with my daughter. We'll be back next year. Oh and the strawberries are OK. Jokes! They're amazing!

  • 5/5 findthefun T. 1 year ago on Google
It was absolutely lovely! Just be warned the strawberry picking requires bare feet or shoes you don't mind getting muddy... but the effort is more than worth it. The strawberries are DELICIOUS!! Buy the big container when you pick, you'll be glad you did!

  • 1/5 Anja D. 1 year ago on Google
Don't waste your money by coming here. We waited 20 minutes for 3 coffees and then another 40 minutes to get our food it was not a busy time we were the 4th of 5 small tables, when the food arrived it was bland, the sourdough toast was so stale you could chip a tooth. The "tomato confit" was just 1 cherry tomato that was cut in half on the plate which is not what tomato confit is. The eggs were so badly done that it was leathery and incredibly overcooked. We paid for our food which was not necessarily cheap. It feels like such a waste, especially since we saved up to go.

  • 4/5 Saffa J. 1 year ago on Google
Very child friendly and we found the activities a lot of fun. The strawberries we picked were delicious and sweet. Our breakfast and coffee was also very good. We will definitely be back when we next visit South Africa.

  • 2/5 Richard De K. 1 year ago on Google
Extremely slow during holiday times. We were told it would be around 45mins but it took just under 2h. The food definitely isn't worth waiting 2h for either, average at best. Otherwise the farm itself is nice, but I would recommend going elsewhere to eat

Beauty in the gardens and goodness in the berries. Lovely goodies in little shop. Choice of restaurants. Horses and rabbits to see and great walking trails. Kid friendly environment. Loved this visit.

Great place for the family. Pity they are not open on Sundays as perfect venue for that. Pity most rides were closed when it was still school holidays or a few days before school started. But highly recommend. Kids love it

  • 4/5 James W. 1 year ago on Google
The mini train is fun, as are the go carts. The maze...well a lot of fun when we did it 4 years ago when you had 10 chances to get your stamps... making 3 of the stations "fake" made it a lot harder and really ruined it for doing with the kids!! Our 10yr old had great memories and wanted to do it again, not leaving with the same feeling this time. Everything else was great but the maze experience a disappointment.

  • 5/5 Michelle M. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing place, you can spend the whole day here. Playgrounds, train rides, strawberry picking and much much more. Great value day out with friendly staff. The ice cream at the special ice cream place is so tasty Lots of parking, but part of it is with stones so difficult to go with a wheelchair. You can drop someone off at the front though and then it is wheelchair friendly at the restaurant. Big choice on the menu and also a separate children’s section

  • 4/5 PepperM1nt 1 year ago on Google
Overall, it was a good experience but due to it being very busy we needed to wait outside for quite a while. Unfortunately, they don't allow bookings. Otherwise, the menu had some great options and from my table everybody enjoyed the food and drinks.
