Great staff… Mr Hendricks is such a wonderful guy... all staff are such great, helpful people who are always wearing a smile and keen to assist. Excellent service, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and dinner options - are the Shisanyama option for dinner: ribs, chicken, wors, corn, pap and gravy - well priced for such a filing meal… and it was delicious, great option if you want to try a true South African meal. Walking distance to the mall. Enjoyable outing and recommend it to anyone… also a great place to stay in and drive the Garden Route in the morning to Knysna etc…. Safe and secure as well… clean swimming pool and dining area. Excellent room service. Back-up Generator powers up during load shedding and wifi speed does not slow down even during load shedding.

3 stars but should have been 4 if not for dinner . Rooms : So you know what you get with these town lodges, rooms are a bit out dated but you know what u get . Great shower 🚿 other then that it was what u expected, nice and clean . Staff/service: Overall the staff are very friendly and professional, from checking in to checking out . Weird thing was they had the front desk receptionist waiting on dinner tables which was a bit odd. Patrick from the bar was the stand out staff member but they were all friendly and pleasant. Dinner and bar /🍽️ 🍽️ food We had a good few drinks at the bar and we also had dinner which was strange for the reason below. We ordered the Mediterranean chicken burger 🍔 so pesto and hummus was meant to be on it as that's what made it Mediterranean but none of that was on it , it was a simply chicken and cheese 🧀 burger 🍔 which is not on the menu so we didn't get what we ordered . We didn't make a fuss as we didn't want to wait another 20 mins for a new burger 🍔 but did bring it to the attention of the front desk staff who was waiting tables. But a bit strange that. Breakfast was 190 per person so bit rich for us so we passed on it . Hotel 🛏️🏨 It's kept very clean and tidy and had a lot of old photos up from the past in George . Overall. Apart from the dinner incident I would definitely come back again as it being right by the mall and the friendly staff make it worthwhile.

Beautiful and classy hotel. Loved the breakfast buffet they had all sorts of cheeses, cold meats and jam my goodness. You could make your own cheese board with that fruit and cheese as well as crackers. I was really impressed by their assortment of foods

Rooms and service is good. Sadly the whole hotel smells like cigarettes and it’s located next to a noisy and busy shopping mall. Not worth the money spent. If they can stop allowing smoking it would be a much better in terms of smell.

A wonderful hotel. Have stayed there over the past 10 years and always been a great spot to relax in the breakfast is good and so are the staff. Thanks for a grand stay.

We have stayed a couple of day's at Town Lodge and here is what I love. The location of the hotel is great and it gives you easy and quick access to places like Victoria Bay, Wilderness and Mossel bay, next to the hotel walking distance you have a big Mall with various shops and Restaurants. The staff are friendly and the hotel is clean and well maintained. Some things that can improve I would say is the rooms and showers. The rooms are small fit for two only and there are no rooms with baths. Overall a great stay and no complaints.

I stayed in George on my way to cape town,It is the best everything was so neat and clean,The staff are so welcoming and has so much of manners,The hotel smells great,The pool was clean we had a nice swim its so relaxing,The beds are so comfortable,the bedding where clean and smelling good,The shower was so neat and clean,Well done to you guys,

I found the toilet so isolated, out of place. Also the towel appeared to have mold stains on it, otherwise a very nice stay...

I stayed here for a week and loved that the lodge is close to the mall. Friendly service from booking in, breakfast to departure. Different options for breakfast made it enjoyable. I enjoyed my stay

Smallish room without a fridge ...... silly one plug in the whole room if you exclude the shaver plug in the bathroom. Otherwise nice people, nice clean room and other areas. Definitely worth it at the price. Need to sort out the plug story guys, really .....

Although service on point, they need to review their dinner services and bring in their A game instead of vouchers to restaurants as their dinner is not up to scratch. Otherwise rooms are moderate, TV channels need to improve as well. Water in the rooms excluded which is bizarre as you end up drinking tap water. Shower gels non existent which is also bizarre for any hospitality hotel...

This is a really nice hotel, clean...well located, staff are friendly and helpful... and offers what- you-need for guests passing through for a night or two. It's convenient as you have two malls within walking distance, so there are plenty of eating places and shops to browse through. Also gated parking. The only downside is that I wish the hotel offered a complimentary bottle of still water in the room, and perhaps a bar fridge would be great. Otherwise, this is a great hotel, and I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice comfortable warm beds. Strong hot shower. Just what I needed. Only complaint is they despite booking a double was told rather bluntly at reception that there were no doubles available and only twins. Only after my colleague complained did they suddenly “find” two double rooms

Very happy client. Will definitely stay here again. Reasonable price, nice decor and that shower is something else. Can't comment on meals as I only booked for the stay, but in terms of the rooms, absolutely no complaints. The hydration station was a VERY nice touch!

Probably one of the better hotels in the clhg. Comfortable rooms. Well located close to the N2, making getting around in the region very easy.

All staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Meals were tasty and fresh, good value for money.

The front service staff lost my identity document whilst they were checking and scanning it. The after service I received to check the whereabouts of my identity document were not good. Food and rooms are good but the front desk service was not good.

Since I walked into the Town Lodge the Sunday and left the Saturday morning, I was treated so since. The very friendly and helpful staff made me feel at home. I want to give a special thanks to the General Manager and his staff to make my birthday, far from home, so special. It appreciated it with all my heart. The staff not only sing to me at breakfast, but I was honored to receive a surprise bunch of flowers in my room after work. Thank you to all the frontdesk staff, kitchen staff, the cleaners and the security for making my week at the lodge feel like home. They always come with a friendly chat or help to carry whatever I have. My room was always neat and in order and I could only ask something and I was assisted. You all were stars. Thank you very much

Clean, friendly staff and very accommodating. Quiet stop over for a night or two, rooms are well finished and neat. Safe and secure as well!

Good hotel. Friendly staff and a free water refilling station. Interior is quite dated, but clean and OK. Convenient location for a quick stopover, but wouldn’t recommend an extended stay here.

Had a great stay with amazing service from your team. Only thing I would change is the carpets in the rooms guys. Would give the hotel such an update. Thanks and see you again soon.

Staff friendly and helpfulness makes everything wonderful. Went out of their way to welcome us and even took extra effort to direct us around town.
