The lodge is excellently located right on the beach. Tim the owner was friendly and always up for a chat. However, the lodge itself is extremely outdated and old fashioned and is in serious need of a revamp. Couches were stained and when we asked the cleaner, she just said it wasn’t wet and left the room. There was mould growing on the chair in the one room. The bath tub was rusted and as a whole was not appealing. Definitely does not meet the 4 star standard and was not worth the money spent! Would not recommend!

Out dated, definitely not a 4 star. Was disappointed, was the photo made it much better than it was. Cluttered, dated, needs a revamp. Disappointed.Would not recommend .

We stayed for 2 wonderful nights. Parking is outside the property but seems very safe. Our room was big, clean, and had everything we needed with the most glorious view of the beach and sea. We enjoyed walks directly from the house down to the beach. Even my 82 year old mum managed the gradual slope and a few steps down. Breakfast was fresh and good, served overlooking the ocean with pods of dolphins passing, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, a lovely homely feel.

The Pink Lodge exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I set foot in my room, my breath was taken away. I stayed in the Dolphin room, which had a spectacular view of the ocean. The best was that I expected a long walk to the beach. But I literally walked a few steps from my door onto the lawn, which led to the beach. I had a mini fridge with a stocked bar, microwave oven, and cutlery (which I didn't know was part of the accommodation). There was also a kettle and coffee/tea with milk, and even warm robes to wear. Instead of the warm weather I thought I'd have, it was quite chilly. What a great surprise to find out the bed had an electric blanket. Tim was an amazing host. The breakfast that was included in the price was delicious and more than enough with a nice variety. The lodge's location is amazing and only a few minutes' drive from George airport. The beach was superb, and I went for looooong walks, taking in each breath of clean air and feeling the spray of the ocean against me. I would definitely recommend The Pink Lodge and will come again!

The Location is amazing, it is right on the beach with a beautiful maintained backyard! The owners are very friendly and helpful. unfortunately the entire house is quiet outdated and definitely needs a lot of maintenance as you can see on some pictures.

Stunning place on the beach. The setting is stunning. Views are amazing. Direct access to beach. Service was excellent. Breakfast was ok. I would recommend this place anyway.

Right at the beach, very kind reception. That’s where the good part ends… Very humid rooms and bed, terrible smells. Very aged interiors and very basic breakfast. Water at breakfast seemed to be tap water. No idea how they received 4 stars. Stayed in much better 3* places along the garden route.

We had such a great stay here and would definitely recommend it! Especially the dolphin room as you have access to walk right down onto the beach. What a view. It's really well maintained and clean! Our room was so spacious and fully equipped! What a lovely bathroom with a wonderful bath. The breakfast was spectacular, and so was the service! Breakfast with a view, too! Thank you for our stay! The location is good - up a hill, but close to good quirky restaurants, less than 5 minutes drive away.

Great location Rooms are great but the lobby entrance and dining area is so dated. Need sprucing up. Breakfast is dismal unfortunately.

Our room walked right onto the lawn which is a few feet from the beach. The room itself was spacious, clean and well presented. The lodge is enormous and beautiful with magnificent views. Extra points for being pet friendly. Breakfast was included and served in an open eating area overlooking the beach. Saw a huge school of dolphins. Tim was an excellent host - friendly and accommodating. I will be sure to return.

Perfect location!! The views are spectacular. The beach is a hop, skip and a jump away. And what a beach, pristine long quiet beach and just so good for the soul. Not ideal for swimming though, rip tides and saw lots of blue bottles. Hotel is well appointed although rooms are showing a bit of wear and tear. Nonetheless, the location definitely makes up for this.

A charming gem on the beach - old school, charming and welcoming. Tim and the team are wonderful, friendly, chatty and accommodating. A proper get-away from the modern world!

Love the Pienk Lodge. Owner Tim what an awesome guy he is. The Lodge is clean, little dated, but still excellent service. Breakfast is tops. Perfect location, right on the beach. What more can you ask for. Will definitely go there again. Thanks Tim

The view when you wake up is a Wow ! And you have your own pathway to go to the beach.. the gentleman that checks you in, service you during breakfast, also a guest service etc. Is very gentle and helpful

Our host Tim made us feel welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. Our room had a spectacular view of the ocean. We walked straight on to the pristine beach where we spent hours swimming and walking everyday. Comfortable king-size bed, scrumptious breakfasts and the proximity to the village and forest walks made this an all-round wonderful holiday.

Again an excellent stay with very friendly hosts. Tim thank you it feels like coming home every time
