Shan Sushi has reasonably priced food, an easy to read menu and a friendly chef. Their portions are fairly large and they do not skimp on the ingredients. Unfortunately, they have limited spaces for seats, but this is also nice as many people order takeaways and so you can have a nice quiet meal.

Has always been my favourite sushi venue, and I really don't like giving mediocre reviews to hospitality venues, especially during these times. But to have the salmon on the salmon roses sliced so thin that the rice is visible through the fish, and then charge premium, is unacceptable. Michael, you are great at what you do. Rather maintain your quality and charge what you need to charge without being unreasonable. No customer minds paying for quality

Best for take away. Great sushi and great prices. We had the Maggie platter and Smoked salmon sandwiches and added two extra portions of ginger which worked out perfectly. Can definitely recommend them!

Good food at a good price, however the bathroom is really not great and needs some work (not sure is landlord or tenant issue but either way it is a little off-putting). Also there was a big container of cooked rice out just off the floor, not sure if that was to be thrown out or used but it didn't seem very sanitary.

The venue is a very simple and minimal. However the sushi is really good quality and prices are reasonable. Very good value when compared to other similar spots in George. The take-away service is very active and popular. In my opinion Shan Sushi is the best place for take-away Sushi in George. The menu is comprehensive with a good selection of combo type deals, we have a few that we enjoy such as the Maggie's Special. Our favourites are the Fashion Sandwiches and the Rainbow Rolls. Go ahead and try the Bean Curd, strange sounding but delicious. They have a limited selection of cold drinks to go with your order. It's a friendly place, you will enjoy their food, give them a try.

Best sushi on the Garden Route! Shan is Allergy aware. So u can do vegetarian sushi without fear!! Great little place.

We came and grabbed some dinner here. It's a quiet little restaurant. The sushi is good, but nothing to write home about really. I personally felt like there wasn't enough sesemi seeds on the sushi or mayo! HOWEVER - The fish is SO fresh! Some of the best tasting salmon I have ever had. I would recommend their fried california rolls - very tasty.

Amazing prices, awesome staff, even better sushi. Arrived late on what was their busiest night of the year, and while the wait time left something to be desired, the sushi was worth every second! Would absolutely become a regular if I lived anywhere near George!

Sushi was fresh and made infront of me, I think the Avo might have been a bit old as it tasted a bit old. The service was good, nothing much to be said. I did get an appletiser but they didn't have any so when I asked for a refund they did try and sell me another drink like 3 times before giving the refund for my drink.
