I visited this place for the first time since I have been in George. The staff are friendly. The food is awesome. My wife and I enjoyed our time at the Old Townhouse. A must visit.

Excellent restaurant. All our food was delicious. Service was great. The manager (maybe owner) was so extremely helpful to me and taking all of these into account I absolutely recommend this place. Go here and enjoy your meal.

Been to Old Townhouse previously and was not disappointed. On this occasion the waitress had attitude which is fine if you get the order right. Food was average at best . Owner was aware we were not happy and approached every table other than ours which was a failure on his part . Load shedding was on so maybe just a bad night at the office.

The food was good but the portions were uneven and when I received the smallest portion I really felt that the price was not worth it. My starter of the fig, prosciutto and camembert was delicious, but small and pricey. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice even during load shedding. The service was good and attentive.

We've been going back to the Townhouse over and over for years. Family owned and run. Fancy food. Nice cosy venue, happy dining experience. Exciting menu. Delicious dishes expertly prepared and served fresh. Exceptional quality and consistency. Not cheap but very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended. Go there you won't regret it.

Birthday made. Got treated to the best fillet steak I've ever had. Warm, cosy, intimate and exceptional service, what more could one ask for.
