My favourite Spur. The oldest Spur in George and a favourite amongst locals. Has beautiful view of George and the mountains. Food and service is great. Keep an eye out for specials. Always good value for money. Kids love the Spur since they have a kiddies play area. Parents love it too since the play area keeps the kids occupied and they can enjoy a drink. The Spur is licenced to sell alcohol.

Oh it was awesome! The most amazing and friendly staff! Our waitress was such a pure joy! The food was fresh, hot, and quick! The steak was perfectly cooked, the nachos has this pepper on them that made my.mouth sing for more! Everything was lovely! It is no wonder I've heard about Spur for years before finally visiting! We plan to visit a number of times before we leave for home. Great prices too! And very large portions!

I swear this Spur uses different meat compared to the other Spurs I have been to. Quality food was top notch, the waitress went out of her way to accommodate us and make us feel at home. Really awesome Spur the other franchises can learn from them.

Standard Spur experience. Was somewhat peturbed at the servers lack of concern at a fly sharing my meal. She took the same sauce bottle the next table without bothering to clean it. No visible signs of fly abatement. Windows wide open inviting pests inside.

Been here a few times, new management have transformed this place to be welcoming. Food offered has the Mediterranean feel brings back wonderful memories. The burgers are so good and filling. The Veggie salad was generous. The pizzas are super! I live going there. Families will love this place, small children will play for hours on the playground or feed the chickens and bunnies which run free.

Best Spur in ZA!! Deon took such good care of us- fantastic service and hospitality. Food was phenomenal and I can’t wait to come back!!

Lovely venue with great kids play area. Fast friendly staff. I had the special, steak casserole. This was a fillet with a red wine, mushroom sauce. It was very good. Super tender fillet. My wife had livers and pasta, our friend had liver pizza. They both enjoyed thier meals

After a very rainy day, with kids, and every other place being fully packed we ended up here. What a delight! Delicious food, friendly staff and a great experience.

I was very impressed by how swiftly the staff moved. No loud talking just serving the customers. I commend all for the excellent service we received. My husband and I enjoyed a very peaceful lunch. We come once a year when we camp 🏕 at Carmel so we'll done Spur York Street. I hope it remains the same or just get better.

I eat here almost weekly and I cannot get over the arrogance and negligence of the employees at this spur. I keep coming here because of my friends and it really is close to home. On Sunday the 6th Jan 2024 the waitress, who never even introduced herself, was so slow that we had to wait a while after receiving our drinks before she could take our order which would have made sense that she takes the order as she gives us our drinks. She was not very present either that when I asked one of the waitresses passing by for serviettes, but she never came back at all. I then asked the colored gentleman manager who was very close to our table standing but was so high and mighty that he decided to delegate the task to another employee when he could have just passed the serviettes. Our waitress was eventually around and because my burger was so filing, I decided to take my veggies home. She brought me a cardboard container and I put all these veggies inside. As we are wrapping up, the container starts to drip, and we had to we had to wait for a few minutes at the entrance as I had asked for different packaging. Too much attitude and negligence for me at this restaurant in general! I just don’t like their atmosphere towards non-white customers! Something needs to change! And the said thing is that they ruin the reputation of someone’s business with their undermining attitudes! The owner needs to look into this!

I used this venue to have meetings across 2 days with 2 different groups of ladies. We all ordered drinks (hence the full stars for food, since we didn't eat anything). I paid for the drinks both days and in total spent just under R600. The service was definitely better the first day

Food was good. Although, there were a lot of mix ups, somethings that we ordered never arrived. We wanted to suprise a friend as it was his birthday and we told them but they forgot. This was understandable as it was busy but we also ordered small things like water which never arrived.

Lithemba, ask for her by name. What a treat it was having our plates brought over by this shiny, friendly face! She definitely made, what was to be a brunch at an ordinary chain restaurant, a must return destination. ❤️ The food was great too! A Lovely, clean, well run establishment. We'll see you again!

Food was excellent but there was alot of "big kids" in the playing area which made it impossible for our toddlers to go and play which ended up our toddlers playing in between the other guests while they were eating... Few guests understood but there were a few who gave us the evil eye...

What a wonderful experience. We had an awesome breakfast at Spur this morning. The food was very delicious and our waiter Fadia was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely eat at Spur again.

A taste for life! Spur is a winner. Everytime tops. Great location this one is. When we were there it was Dec/Jan holidays and the place was packed with a lineup going in, they didn't miss a beat keeping the people outside just as entertained and looked after as the people inside. I really enjoyed it so much I just had to go back again! Friendly vibey happy people working here to keep the atmosphere bubbling and sparkling!

Staff was very friendly. Me and myn2 daughters were there during a fundraiser for school. So it was very busy. Even so, the waitress did an axcellent job. And hats off to the kitchen staff too for preparing all the meals. There was no excessive waiting for the ordered meals

Poor service and will never go back. (15Aug22) - Branch requested feedback. I had a detailed conversation with the manager onsite on the day. Please speak to him. Update - Was called by a manager and told they will email me a voucher. It has been more then a week and still nothing. So disappointing.

Patrons wait for ages !Service poor. Toasted sandwich good ..Cooking oil is old for fries....... unless you have cast iron digestion !

Great experience and an interesting setting with bunnies roaming outside. Food is very tasty and very friendly staff. Pizza made in a wood oven and highly recommended. The mild chicken is something that should not be missed, but do come hungry as the portion is generous.

On our way to our guesthouse we decided to pop in for a light meal. It was loadshedding. Upon entering we were informed it was almost time for the kitchen to close (we entered at 08:45) They however accommodated us and we (wife and I) had an enjoyable evening. After a quick bite we left.

I have been going to this Spur for many years. Johan and his team are at the top of their game. Take away or sit down. Kiddies play area is good for parents who want to sit and relax and enjoy a meal. Milkshakes are great. Coffee keeps awake but the chedamelt burger I will run a comrades for. Well done !

They have recently added electric plugs to more tables, which makes it a great place to go during loadshedding to get some work done while the kids play. I've spent many productive hours working here while the kids also enjoy themselves. Can highly recommend.

The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing, the staff was very helpful and very very very kind, the bathrooms were clean and spotless. The food came within 15 minutes and we were checked on regularly. Would definitely recommend you go there.

From all the Spur's that I visited in the Southern Cape Geronimo Spur Is the best. The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is excellent ... Absolutely stunning venue with lovely play area with mini jungle gym and swings and cute bunnies. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. We had honey & mustard chicken pizza and the most delicious in-house chilli sauce. This place is to die for!

First time visiting and only had a couple of milkshakes while our son played with all the animals... Great workout for him in a child friendly environment. The shakes were good and the staff very friendly. We will be back to come and try out the food.

I have visited this place 3 times only November and i love it so much. Its private, kids friendly, beautifull and has lovely staff. Very welcoming, caring and lovely. The food is devine, my absolute favourite is the lemon and herb chicken with butternut and best creamy spinach ever. Thank u all for a lovely time.

Oh my goodness! How often do you come across a place that you feel at home immediately!?! The food is so delicious and really well priced 😊 the staff are super helpful.
