What an incredible scenery. Really worth the hike. Take enough water. Clearly marked with bird sign. Once you are at the security gate you will enter the golf estate and will sign in. It is 9km all the way to the pinnacle clubhouse if you start at the light house. The trail really got scary at pinnacle point when we had to walk on the edge of the cliff. We also had to duck and dive for the golf balls. Some of the bridges steps are broken and not attended to. We also did not see alot of bird signs while going in the estate. The clubhouse offered ice cold drinks, which was lovely. We got a bolt to take us back to the hotel.

Very pretty hiking trail above the ocean. Full view of the ocean at all times. Spotted a golden orb spider on the trail. The ocean cliffs were also a stunning sighting. Nice clear trail and easy to follow

Lovely little restaurant at the top of the lighthouse, with beautiful views of the bay and Mosselbay. The breakfast was lovely and very well presented. Friendly owner and his wifeviz hands on.

Not a hike as such, just a destination attraction with nice views.

This is a really long in and out trail but you can turn around wherever you want. There’s a parking lot right after the strip of restaurants, shops and hotel. The stairs at the beginning are steep but the rest of the trail is not bad. The views are amazing. We hiked about half a mile from the entrance, around 9am in September and saw lots of dolphins.

An amazing hiking trail with spectacular views of the wild ocean. It is a 13.5km hike between Mossel Bay point to Dana Bay which takes around 5 hours to complete. There are some climbing and uphill areas with a total elevation gain of 425 meters. The trail was mostly well marked. There are no shade so recommend to do the hike early morning or on cloudy days. Loved the experience and will definitely do it again.

Beautiful and easy trail along the coast, takes about 5h including breaks. We spotted many whales, dolphins and seals. Cutest thing were the dassies everywhere! We walked to Dana Bay and caught a Bolt back to Mossel Bay for R100, no worries at all.

Great hike! You can either do a ca 8/9 km Route till the golf course or complete the full trail. Beautiful nature and views. In hot weather and sun you have to be cautious as there is little shade.

Beautiful hike. Good to start at Mossel Bay by the lighthouse (lots of parking available). At Pinnacle Point you have to sign in to access a gated compound, through which the trail passes.

The trail and caves were very special. The views of the point were also special. We saw Brydes, Humpback, Killer Whales and Southern Right Whales. The overall view of the bay was tremendously beautiful. Remember to where proper shoes for the trail.

We only did a small portion of the hike but enjoyed it nonetheless. Be sure to wear a hat and put on sunscreen as you won't be walking in the shade at all. Beautiful ocean views. Quite steep at the very start but otherwise fairly flat. It might be a bit dangerous for small children who like to run off but otherwise a very chilled hike.

Its a beautiful hiking trail. The scenery is stunning even with cloudy weather. We were not able to do the full trail but we wished to. You can see a lot of klippdassies, birds and whales. If you’re in Mossel Bay, you have to come here.

A fantastic trail now poorly maintained and re-routed to new paths dangerously close to the cliff edge by the owners of private golf estates located between Mossel and Dani Baai.

The trail is quite long, make sure you have enough water, if you don't have there's a gate at pinnacle point where friendly securities allow you to get water from the tap. No shade made sure you check the weather. No need for a map they have signs to guide you and the road is straight forward. Very rocky, wear comfortable shoes. My nephew (11 yrs) and daughter (15 yrs) they enjoyed it and obviously were very tired. I guess anyone can do it. Enjoy the beautiful views we saw dolphins kids were very happy.

Beautiful walk with exceptional views and vistas along the sea. You need to be prepared when you tackle this trail as it is a moderate to difficult walk. You need to wear the right walking shoes and you need to take with plenty of liquids.

Beautiful view and a relatively easy trail (some of our group did it in flip flops, which was not ideal but manageable. Would not recommend for solo female hikers after 17h00... The views are breathtaking and a great spot for dolphin watching (we've seen them between 18h00 and 19h00 in early December each year). Our group usually just does the first 2km of the hike then we turn back.

Really enjoyed hiking here. A few challenging sections, especially for someone that's not fit (like me) but overall really great to do the trail with friends and family. Take your water and stay hydrated. Scenery is exceptional.

Very nice trial and most of the way is marked very well. We started ar the lighthouse and finished in Dana bay (where we stayed for this holiday) The section up to Pinnacle Point is a fairly easy walk. Don't be in a rush to finish the route - take time to enjoy the stunning scenery.

Cute dassies and really nice to see the various plants and the view is great, however the broken glass and the bits of litter along some areas of the hike really dampens the atmosphere and the one set of bathrooms are unusable and the smell of them is worrying. Really needs more maintenance or some sort of clean-up, if you are on the hike, however please do not add any more litter to the mix.

This trail is fairly easy and almost anybody will manage . Start early in the summer months and take water with. The views are spectacular anywhere on the route. There is picnic spots but please take care and take your rubbish with you. Apply normal safety protocol by walking in groups.
