Super place for families. The food is great too, even for children. As part of our order was a children's pizza and it was properly made not a cheap mini packaged one.

Today I returned to the Sunnyside Pub after being so disappointed 8 months ago.. I can happily say its now under new management and what a fantastic surprise, the pub was clean tidy, the staff were superbly friendly, the service was great the food was lovely especially the Pizza....! Quick service and a really nice atmosphere for a Monday music videos on the TV screens, which was a really nice change from football on my previous visit 8 months ago. I was also taken back by the fantastic service given to a group of individuals who were eating nearby. Also new benches outside has made the world of difference. It now feels like the bright Sun has now returned to the sunny side. I will be back ..!

A good place for good value food. Service was very good. Pricing for special offers could be more transparent (for example, what is included, what you can have for extra, when the offers don't apply etc) but basically if you're happy to read the small print you can get a bargain meal.

What a lovely atmosphere and staff! Came here for a birthday meal and was met by lovely people and kind management. I am sorry I can't name names but you all really picked me up on a bad day.

Sorry but the place was filthy. The table & menus were sticky. I asked twice for a cloth to clean the table, but never got the table cleaned. They forgot about us. We couldn’t find the Sunday roast menu. We left after one drink. We had planned to eat there. But decided against it. Nice big garden. Big car park. Nice building. But it just wasn’t up to scratch. Not recommended. Not a #buddyfriendlypubs Or a rover’s return.

Just had a lovely meal for 4. The 2 Sunday lunches were very tasty (one beef one turkey) Fish was amazing and the steak was really good as always. The staff are very friendky and welcoming.

Good food and friendly, helpful staff! We had the two meals for £12 which was nice food and good value. The outside was lovely with lots of space to sit and lots of space for the children to play and explore. We would definitely go back again.

I would love to give you a 5 star rating but unfortunately I can't. Whilst the staff were lovely and the food was good our anniversary meal was spoilt slightly by the table of middle aged older blokes who were sat near us who felt it appropriate to use the F word quite loudly very often, they were obviously regulars in the pub. It's not a working men's club it's a venue with children present so possibly a quite word by the staff might have been appropriate.

Arrived on time we were shown to our table. Chose what we wanted went back to the bar and ordered and paid. Out of the six people only two wanted starters we particularly stated we wanted the starters to come out first not with the main course. I felt a thirty minute wait for two portions of breaded mushrooms was far too long and then we weren't even half way through the mushrooms when the main course arrived rather annoying when I had asked for the starters to be served as starters. As there were two vegans and a vegetarian so half the party we were very pleased with the choice available on the menu and the food itself was very nice. We would definitely return but the service could be improved.

Comfortable, clean kind easy banter with the staff👌 like an old fashioned pub homestead since the new management earlier this year. We would highly recommend for any occasions and as for the food we were super impressed great value for money, and the atmosphere too is always a win win for us all.

Food was bland and there were several mistakes. Staff are very friendly. Quiz night could be better, but I think they were new to it, so it can only get better. Great spaces indoors and out for kids.

Haven't been here for years. Stopped off for a late lunch one Saturday. Beer (ale) was great. Food was good. Lots of families with children there. It has always been a family friendly place.

We found the whole experience easy and helpful. We made a booking on the day requesting a table with a wheelchair space. We were greeted at the door and shown the easiest and accessible route to our table. The ordering was easy and we chose to use the order at table through the app. Unfortunately one of the drinks was no longer available but it was only a few minutes for them to communicate this and offer an alternative (at no extra cost) We dined for a birthday and the birthday girl was given a free glass of prosecco which went down really well. Staff were helpful and attentive and kept of good level of cleanliness as other guests finished their meals and left. Plates were taken away and tables cleaned. Overall we were very happy and would definitely return. The food was a standard pub menu, good value and everybody cleared their plates which is unusual for our party of fussy eaters.

Since the latest new management I have visited 3 times and had food twice. All the staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. The food arrived quickly and was really fresh and delicious. There is lots of seating in different areas so you can really choose where suits you. There is a play area for the children, inside and outside as well as lots of ground for them to play. Will be back soon 🙂

Came here in October for a Sunday lunch and it was the best Sunday roast I have had out for a long time and really good value for money. Proper roast potatoes, all fresh vegetables and homemade Yorkshire. Came again Saturday for a Christmas meal and the Turkey roast dinner did not disappoint all still fresh and lovely. Bar staff and landlord made us feel really welcome.

Since the new management took over there has been a big improvement. Service in friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food has greatly improved which is a big plus as it had gotten very poor. Since this management team took over I have been 4 or 5 times and it has been an enjoyable visit each time, long may they keep up the good service.

Twice they cooked the steak still WELL DONE didn't bother to ask a 3rd time then the birthday came out raw for the birthday girl what a treat that was

The drink selection for both alcoholic and non alcoholics sells a good variety and plenty of seating, in and outdoors is comfortable with a kids park and a quiet area for eating and drinking. I didn't try the food but it definitely looked average/good. I'll go again 😊

Today was the first time we have ever had Christmas dinner out. We had family member with major health issues and wanted to make this year extra special. I booked a table for 10 with Nina who reassured me that our time here would be amazing. It was awful. We were sat next to the kids play area next to a table with four dogs. (Dogs are meant to say in bar area). Our booking was at 2pm. We started to get food at 3pm. The food was cold. Starters and mains. A long wait for food and the door quality was poor. A couple of dishes were served then a long wait. Lack of cutlery. Nina was no where in sight. Several tables near us were also upset with food/service. Nina should have been looking after her staff, deligating/supporting the young workers. The only positive was that we were given a full refund but sadly our Christmas dinner was ruined. We didn't buy a back up meal. Sunnyside/Nina you should be ashamed!!!

Outstanding pub, has lots of sport showings, and pool table that is free some days! Great for student nights and the bar man Micheal is lovely. Food is cheap and delicious too! Would definitely recommend!!

New management!! Absolutely amazing staff 👏 made us feel so at home. Beautiful food and a really massive selection of drinks 🍸. The staff are so lovely honestly the best atmosphere of Any pub I've been to. Nina is the most loveliest lady ever.

Went with a friend and my children on Monday 3rd Jan and the service was terrible. What seemed like the new manager came across rude and like we were a burden being there, the service was rubbish and the food not great after over an hour and a half wait, being told there was a 30-40 minute wait. The only good part of the service was the young bearded lad behind the bar that seemed rushed off his feet but still welcoming.

Went here for a work lunch and was very pleased with the Fish and chips. Tasted deliciously fresh and cooked to perfection. Generous portions, warm, friendly service, lot of parking, great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. I will definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone looking for good pub grub in a relaxed setting

Nice sunny afternoon in the garden and will go again for that reason. The barman was efficient yet not a smile from any of the staff. For a pub to shout about forthcoming improvement, a welcoming friendly atmosphere is highly important and that's the responsibility of the management to set standards. Training and team talks.

Nice staff, food and good price for shots. Lovely place to spend quality time with your friends. You can play pool, darts or cards in here. Also, it's nice that you have a lot of spaces to park your car.

Me and a friend come to the sunny side every week, since the new managers have taken over we have already saw an improvement with the food and are very pleased with each meal we have here. The staff team are fantastic and very helpful, I would definitely recommend the sunny side pub for food and drinks!!
