The good: two for one peronis 4-7 lovely stuff, staff very nice....two stars because the food was absolutely horrific, got chicken wings probably the worst things I have ever tasted to be honest.. goood drinking pub do not get food here it will be a waste

Came here a few weeks ago to watch the Manchester derby on the screens. Good atmosphere. Easy to book and good drinks list. The back screen needs to be fixed. It keeps jumping and pausing every couple of minutes. Good staff too.

Large green king pub with beer garden and outside seating. Good range of beers and nice food.

Chiswick born and raised. I love this place. It has been my local for watching footy for over a decade now. The recent renovation is beautiful. Green king so you know the food will be decent 😊🍔 good deals on bar snacks too! But the service is OUTSTANDING. 100% recommend 💪

I have visited this place on a Saturday. I love the vibe here. As soon as you enter the pub you will be overwhelmed by a magnificent English energy. I recommend this place especially for tourists in the heart of Chiswick. We had fish and chips,mac&cheese and battered halloumi. Super yummy! I will definitely be back. The staff is very friendly.

We’ve been here a few times to watch the football and yesterday they had a very good band on (band of king, I think). The service is always friendly and we really like the fact they have small plates, you get a discount for three or five and they’re all amazing. A great night out!

The welcoming staff and fantastic atmosphere for live sports at this pub truly stood out. When I lost my key card last week, someone kindly picked it up, and the pub held onto it for a week until I could retrieve it. This experience showcased the exceptional quality of both the staff and the customers. I highly recommend this local pub.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a drink! What can I say? It was absolutely amazing! The pub itself is beautiful, the food was out of this world and the service was top tier! Would 100% return to this pub all day long!

Just had Christmas Dinner at the Packhorse & Talbot and we couldn't fault it! Fab festive greeting from all of the staff, great atmosphere, lovely food & drink! Couldn't have been more welcoming ☺️! Lovely place! Warm and cosy with a good ambience, very friendly personnel and the food's delicious.

The food is excellent, probably the best fish and chips we had, the bacon beef burger very good too. The manager or owner is very welcoming, was looking after us and has a great sense of humour. We had a great Sunday lunch. I recommend.

This pub used to have a good vibe, now it's an old man's spot till 8pm when they shuffle out and the teenagers shuffle in after them! Its a green king pub so food menu is adept and affordable. Staff could be a bit happier!

We decided to have our staff christmas party here a couple of weeks ago and had a great time! The staff were very friendly and the service was great! The pub had a great atmosphere with lots of christmas decorations and lighting around which really adds to the festive feel! We look forward to coming back soon!

I have to say I had such an amazing time with my mates with some food and pints here. Our server Jenni did an amazing job and was really attentive and fast with our orders. She is a dedicated team member and goes the extra mile!! Will definitely come back!

Nice food but pretty small portions especially the steak. Would have been useful to know the size / weight from the menu which would have allowed us to order more food at first as opposed to having to order after with a considerable wait. Generally a good pub though with friendly staff

Fantastic! We stopped going out to restaurants due to so much bad service (also covid I guess). We were going lego land so decided to try a greene king restaurant. Upon arriving you notice how beautiful the building looked with all the plants and flowers everywhere, this continued inside. The staff - incredible, just incredible. Absolute credit to greene king. Really friendly welcome, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu (my child has a nut allergy). We ordered on the greene king app, and the drinks were there in rapid time, shortly the meals also came. The meals were very tasty and good quality. We don't eat meat and the menu offered a great selection of plant based/vegetarian options. I've never experienced service like this before, if this was my local I'd be there every week! Thank you to the team!

We visit London and stay in Chiswick no less than twice a year and always pop down the road to this pub as we adore the location and our regular large fish and chips. Being from a fishing town we know what a good one tastes like and this has always been top notch for the last 4 years so thank you Packhorse we will see you again soon :)

Came last Saturday with my friend for the live music on Saturday, pub looked very festive, clean and I managed to order a sharers Nachos. Food came pretty speedy and tasted amazing. Staff were wonderful. Would 100% recommend and come again.

Nice local pub. Staff is very friendly. They make sure you have everything you need and make you feel welcome. Good selection of beers, we are never disappointed with the food.

I've been there few times, and it is my lovely place. Very warm atmosphere, specially with Thursday and Friday nights which they have live music. Funny, polite, professional and helpful stuff. Also you can watch your sport events, as they show Football matches and F1 and most possibly other sports.

Had a great time watching the rugby here. Very helpful staff, no waiting despite it being really busy. Felt very welcome and everything we had asked for in our booking for 7 of us was perfect...thanks!

Did enjoy this place first few times I went but recently has become a joke. Want allowed in as it was “full” one day. All the tables are always reserved but no one ever turns up to sit down and use them. Some of the TVs are outdated and fuzzy.

Friendly staff, decent prices and great food. Couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat, luckily Toni helped me to choose, and I was not disappointed. Definitely coming back.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Scott and his team for hosting my family I after the funeral of a dear loved one. We ordered a buffet spread which was fantastic and we were met with such empathy and kindness. Scott was very accommodating and made an otherwise very sad day, very warm. We had only planned to stay a short time but extended our stay because we felt so welcome. I would highly recommend this pub, it’s a real hidden treasure which has a lovely terrace, great service and a cosy atmosphere. I am a local and I have myself often overlooked this pub but it’s now on top of my list. Thank you!!

Visited for lunch and just such a lovely pub! Staff were all so friendly especially Sophie who made us feel so welcome. Food was also amazing! Looking forward to coming back soon
