Lovely friendly pub, nice garden, ample parking

Excellent pub with simply amazing patrons. Great friendly welcome and really good fresh beers on tap. Food wasn't bad either and I would have given it a 5 star rating if not for the super delay in getting food order filled. That said, it is a cosy looking pub with lots of authentic countryside charm. Love it. Update: they have a fairly decent size garden at the back to sit in at.

Always a welcoming pub with a wide range of well kept beverages available. Plenty to look at as well as every nook and cranny has interesting items, art and artefacts on display. Highest recommendation.

Great pub. As mountain bikers we're always made to feel welcome regardless of the mud! Large selection of quality beers. Very good pub grub too. Jan '23 update - remains a great pub. Always a friendly welcome.

Very friendly staff and cozy pub!

First pub I've been to since moving to Wendover a year ago. Really friendly staff, great food and Guinness. Good sized portions, my daughter couldn't finish her delicious chips. Will be coming back.

Wonderful old school friendly pub with a superb beer garden and 3 well kept ales. A very friendly crowd of lucky locals make for a great vibe.

Very unique small pub. Old fashion decor. Friendly stuff. I saw how one couple played the cards. It's an amazing experience. Owner who ws serving us very elegant, charming lady positive lady.

A proper pub, great Landlord’s, real ale, lager, wine and a great selection of spirits especially gin! Very homely and welcoming a great place to spend quality time with friends and family!

Great country pub with a friendly team. They have set up the venue to respect social distancing and have hand sanitiser available. Has a big garden with sheltered seating and the pub has its own car park. Didn't eat here but they serve food

Very hospitable, friendly pub with good pub food. We went as a large group of friends, preordered food and sat under cover outdoors. The pub made us feel very welcome and catered for all our needs. Much appreciated.
