Incredibly
rude
and
disgustingly
unfair
service
-
avoid
at
all
costs.
Came
for
the
football
and
enjoyed
most
of
the
game
sat
with
a
couple
of
drinks.
But
then
abruptly
told
with
10
minutes
to
go
of
the
game
that
our
table
was
reserved,
despite
there
being
no
sign
on
the
table.
Pub
was
packed
so
we
then
had
no
seat
or
view
of
the
screen.
As
the
new
occupants
switched
over,
we
asked
if
they'd
booked:
they
clearly
said
no
and
seemed
shocked
they'd
been
provided
a
table
given
how
busy
it
was.
With
a
nail
biting
end
to
the
game
we
stayed
purely
because
we
wanted
to
hear
the
outcome,
despite
the
rude
and
frankly
unbelievable
behaviour
of
the
staff
member.
A
few
minutes
later,
said
staff
member
charged
in
an
extremely
aggressive
manner
over
from
the
bar
saying
'how
dare
you
look
at
me'
after
absolutely
no
provocation.
When
we
asked
if
the
table
had
been
booked
his
response
was
'if
I
said
it
was
booked
then
it
was
booked'.
We
then
explained
how
the
new
occupants
said
they
hadn't
booked,
and
he
angrily
repeated
his
stance
-
which
was
now
clearly
a
lie.
He
then
got
confrontational
and
aggressive,
despite
having
kicked
us
off
our
table
having
lied
about
a
fake
reservation,
presumably
choosing
us
as
young
looking
and
easy
to
remove
customers
in
favour
of
a
group
of
men
in
suits.
Have
never
experienced
such
appalling
behaviour
from
a
pub.
For
the
pub
management's
reference
it
was
a
male
member
of
staff,
bearded
and
roughly
5'8.
We
will
never
be
returning
and
actively
encouraging
local
friends/family
to
avoid.
