Lovely little pub just off the High Street. A warm welcome awaits from Kailey and a beautiful pint of Beavertown Neck oil. and a gin & tonic perfectly served.. 9 tables at the front , 12 at the back and the stables that holds 20. A hidden gem but very popular. in May food available. Well worth a visit.

Amateur hour at this establishment. I spent over three hours and nearly £40 here, when there were about three other people in the pub, to watch a cricket ODI. The second a bunch of men turned up to watch the golf, that was all forgotten. Despite selling themselves as a 'sports bar', they are unable in 2022 to show more than one Sky channel simultaneously. The landlord and chief barmaid then started to pass snide remarks about my request to keep the cricket on, so I left, as it is clear the pub is run by people without scruples. The alleged 'golf fans' were all in the front beer garden ten minutes later as we finished our drinks up outside. Not a serious location. Won't be returning even if it were the last pub on the planet. The fact they had their beer garden locked on the hottest day of the year is the icing on a particularly disappointing cake.

Friendly staff. Quite busy and a little noisy. The live music was setting up so I would imagine it gets quite lively. But it's a sports bar so a few televisions around. Had a couple of drinks.

Nice little pub, tucked away down a side street. A lot of the former pubs on the main road have now gone and become other things (Identikit Zizzi, for example, in what was "The Three Tuns"). Lots of Sports TV Screens. Comfy and cosy. Staff friendly. Used to have live music but local complaints have put the kybosh on that for now.

This went downhill quickly! Empty when I arrived and other than 3 drunk older gentleman it didn't really pick up. Seems there is a new landlord and if my visit was anything to go by, this isn't a good thing. Did nothing but insult the previous landlady. Beer is still good and a reasonable price hence 2 stars, but other than that I'd give it a swerve.

Had a large group go here, nice local pub away from the high street so you can get served without too long a wait. Friendly staff and nice garden.

Great place to watch live sport and good atmosphere to share the emotion of the anticipated win (or may be loss ;-) ) Friendly members of staff and management. Reasonable prices. Garden area and rejuvenated stables are ideal to host functions. There was a Beckenham Book Festival on Sunday 2nd July. Maybe not an obvious match of venue initially but worked really well. Support from the manager and team to set up etc.. was much appreciated. A good advert to support a local Pub adjacent to the High Street which is a vital part of the community.

Place has definitely gone down hill, since the departure of Kayleigh. Everything that made the pub inclusive has gone… it’s literally all sport and focused on the male clients. All the nice touches, example in the ladies loo have gone (sanitary products). No more rock n roll bingo - which was the highlight of my week. The remaining staff are clearly overworked. Saw the new people swanning around leaving one bar staff on her own. Nice pub but def not the nice place it used to be. Avoid.

8/5/2021 Visited Coach & Horses (off Beckenham High St.) A really lovely pub. Spoke with the Manger and staff, all are enthusiastic to do a great job. There are tables in front of the pub (which makes it ideal for passing dog walkers/beer drinkers) And a large seating area at the rear of the pub for larger groups of people. Food menu to be added soon. No table bookings required, but best to always contact the pub to discuss your visit if in any doubt. Will definitely be heading back there very soon

Great very dog friendly pub! Dog menu, dog water bowls and gave a free bag of dog treats! Staff are very kind and go out of their way to help

The last time I was here this pub was under different ownership. I am so glad it has changed. The new manager has transformed the place - it's a pleasure to come here as the pubs full potential is now being realised. There is a bit of work to beautify the outside space to the rear, but whatever happens - and to misquote Arnie - we will be back.

Great local pub situated near Lidl car park. I use it because it's dog friendly and has an outside seating area at the front. We arrived after a shower of rain and no one was using the outside space and the seats were wet. A staff member soon wiped these down and brought out water and a treat for my dog. Wonderful service! Thank you.

Pub has seen many managers over a few yrs. But now the place has lost its charm as a friendly meeting place. All regulars have left and drink in other establishments nearby. Theres no friendly welcome anymore. Throw in the redecorating and attempting to bring it into the 2020s does the pub no favours whats so ever. What newcomers see entering the pub and theres not many, even on music nights anymore, might be impressed. But us old timers who have been drinking there for 20 yrs or more, today dont like what we have witnessed. As explain earlier. Excellent managers have come and left for whatever personal reasons. But a pub is meant to be a place where you can relax and catch up with old and not so old aquaintances. Today with no regulars,no charm and more to the point not made to feel welcome has driven people away from what has been an institution for many people. I wont go into peoples personal reasons, including my own,for no longer drinking there. But i think iv made that pretty clear in my post.

If I could give this zero stars I would .. it used to be the best local hangout for the community bar none , and with change of landlord it’s become the front of the list of places not to go to not only in Beckenham but the UK.. what a waste

Worked there many moons ago. Went back to visit, friendly local pub with outside seats hidden from the high street of Beckenham.

I have never visited a pub with such a rude landlady who reacted badly to incorrectly eavesdropping our conversation. . She has thrown away our £50 a visit income. Obviously won’t go back whilst she is in charge but hope that the pub will survive such appalling mis- management.

Gorgeous old school pub and quiet enough to have an actual chat. Great bar staff and very clean amenities. Impressed.

Went for a friend's party which was set up in the garden area! Blankets on hand if it got too cold, friendly staff, bit small inside but quite cute! Drinks are a tad pricey in my opinion but didn't stop us from having a great afternoon/evening. TVs inside for sports events too!
