Atmosphere lively and friendly. My food was great. Had the Duck Breast with the super salad. Duck breast was perfect, slightly pink in the middle and a beautifully crispy skin. Doesn't look much from the outside but don't let that fool you, it is a really nice, inviting pub. Would happily eat there again.

Absolutely outstanding! We stumbled in after a flight and Becci took care of us like we were family. Of the four of us, we had the Beef pie, the Chicken and woodland mushroom pie and the and the Katsu chicken curry to start and then several desserts. It was all delicious and we all cleaned our plates. If you're hungry and in the area, I strongly suggest you stop in and experience The Three Magpies for yourself!

We had such a wonderful experience at Three Magpies. Tim & Gaynor took such great care of us and we really enjoyed the pies and pints. We visited just after Christmas and the decor made it such a cosy place for us to spend the rest of the night. Can't recommend this place enough, it is definitely worth stopping by here especially if you are in one of the nearby hotels.

Great pub on Bath Road at Heathrow, half way along the northern runway 27R, 09L. It's ideal for near hotels including the biggest hotel Rannaisance which has 649 rooms and was opened in the early 70s. It's a greene king pub which does good food and on Sundays you can get a roast. The food is cheaper than the local hotels and you get a bonus of having a pub atmosphere with tentative staff. History goes that it was the last inn pub on the Bath rd and attracted cyclists when going on club runs. I enjoyed the meal of a beef ale pie with mashed potato and tender broccoli. They do greene King ales that compliment a meal, having a speckled hen ale with my food. There is a car park at the back of the pub and great if you want a meal with a nice ale. There is plenty of seating and tables at the front and side of the pub but can get busy when conventions are held at hotels across the Bath Road. If you have checked in at your hotel and want to go and have a meal, do try this great pub and absorb a traditional pub atmosphere before a flight or you have arrived and are staying at local hotels

Fantastic meal here the night before we flew from Heathrow. A few minutes walk from our Renaissance hotel. Food was fantastic. I forgot to take photos of mains. Just remembered with ice cream.

Came here since it was nearest pub to conference center. Unfortunately both days didn't have pies. Some good selection of beers and cider. I did enjoy the ambient, even if the service was a bit slow at the desk taking orders.

This felt like a little hole-in-the-wall. We walked here from our hotel shortly after we landed in Heathrow for a late lunch. There were only a few customers in so we had virtually no wait for anything. You order at the bar and pick your own table. The staff are very nice. They were out of a few food items/drink mixers, but it was no problem as the alternatives available were still good. We got the buffalo cauliflower to share (flavors are on point, texture was a little softer than you'd get in most places). I got the meat and ale pie with chips and an expresso martini. The hot water crust for the pie was perfect, crispy on the outside and flaky, with a soft inside. The meat filling was delicious, and the chips were great. It was fairly stuffy inside, kind of humid. And I don't know if it was just our luck but we got a really wobbly table (though through our 9 day trip through London and Iceland, we never got a non-wobbly table haha!). The staff are very nice, also on the quieter side. The atmosphere is relaxed/calm -- a bit different from most other pubs. Overall a good place for a sit-down meal near the airport.

My husband had their Chicken and ham pie and he enjoyed it so much. I ordered their Mac n Cheese which was so creamy and rich. Very delicious. Also wanted to try their open face sandwich, avocado and pickled red onion. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised how good this was. It all worked so well together especially with some of the arugula they added to the dish. A very good find close to our hotel. Will go back next time we are in town.

Super cute pub! Very friendly, excellent dishes. The mixed grill was fabulous, and allowed us to try a nice variety. The peppercorn steak sauce is delish! David was our waiter and was friendly and helpful. Beautifully decorated for Christmas!

Absolutely amazing food, great beer, great atmosphere. People are so friendly. If you go. Hurry and grab the first available table and steak it out even if it’s not clean yet. even with everyone there being completely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people everyone was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

What a gem!! Delicious pub close to our hotel - we came dinner after long flight and had the steak pie and shnitzel and both were delicious! We came back for lunch on our last day and it wasn’t busy at all but service was attentive and excellent. We had the mushroom pie this time and it was also very good!! The toffee pudding was delicious too. Everything is well-priced, excellent value, made fresh and DELICIOUS! Do not eat at the hotel or in the airport just come here.

I had a very delicious dinner at this very nice place and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered Fish & Chips and a Big Green salad. They also serve veggie and vegan dishes. Fair prices! The staff was very friendly and lovely. I enjoyed my short stay here. Thanks Becci! Coming back soon.

Went with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised with the "Two classics for Β£13" offer. Decided on the scampi and was excited to order. We entered the queue. There were 3 people in front of us. After waiting for 10 minutes for the waiter to process the ordered of the people in front of us they closed the register and instructed us to order from the bar. After waiting another 5 minutes we ordered. The scampi finally came and check out the photo how it looked like. Not only were they fairly disgusting, but the portion was laughably small. My friend ordered peas a vegan dish with peas on the side. I am sad I don't have a photo of his dish, but he literally got 10 peas as a side. He called in the waiter and asked whether they are seriously expecting that 10 peas as a side dish makes sense. They said yes. He said the actual main was quite good though. So, from my experience, terrible service and disappointing food. The Strongbow dark fruit cider was very tasty though.

The building is charming and historic, the staff was friendly, humorous and helpful! The food was reasonably priced and quite good (particularly the batter they fried most things in), the ciders and beers on tap were excellent and the experience was great for me and five others! Give it a go, cheers!

Nice enough pub, went on a Saturday. A good chunk of the menu was unavailable, but no major drama. Had a prawn and Chorizo starter and a lamb shank main. Food was good, starter was great although the lamb shank was borderline cold when I got to it, so definitely not reheated enough from the freezer! Pub was almost empty despite being 8pm on a Saturday. Well priced food and 241 happy hour on a friday/sat on Fosters and Amstel. Sadly.. they hadn't got Amstel either so didn't opt for the Fosters. Oddly, when I asked the barman "Can I have 2 pints of Moretti please?" He replied "only if you are nice today?" Which was very odd considering I've never been or ordered anything in my life there before that moment. Strange. But overall decent. Although need to take down the Xmas decs given its not Xmas.

Very nice restaurant here! Staffs were friendly. Lamb shank was tender and the fish and chips was basic.

We made reservations for dinner at 6.30pm, arrived on time, got seated immediately. Ordered our meal by the bar at 6.45 to 6.50pm. And had to bring our own beers to the table. We ordered a plate of lasagna, chicken tikka masala, lamb shank, chicken sharer, hunter's chicken and fish & chips. We received chicken sharer plate at 7.19pm Hunters chicken and fish & chips at 7.48pm Chicken tikka masala and lasagna at 7.50pm Lamb shank came out at 8.04pm Side salads don't come with any dressing, it was completely plain. We had to "grab" ketchup and mayo from another table whose patrons has departed but the table was still a mess. Looks to me that they are understaffed but, waiting over an hour for our main meal is a little much isn't it..

Very nicely decorated restaurant pub near Heathrow Airport.. may different type of beers on the tap (but the beers are not cold enough. Maybe the Brits like it this way) Many food items on the menu are not available and the food orders took an hour to be served (this brings the stars down to 3). Very standard dishes and tasted okay. Not much options in this area.. so it's still a good option if you have time to spend waiting for your food.

I thought this would be an average pub for stranded Heathrow passengers, but no! Full of locals, delicious drinks, awesome and affordable dishes. Great spot!

Great restaurant and pub. It was close to where we were staying, and our hotel food wasn't the greatest. We stopped there before returning our rental car. Good drinks and good atmosphere.

Second time round at this welcoming, value for money pub. We were excited to be returning here after our first visit as we'd had such a positive experience the first time. Thursdays is steak night and we ordered the rump steak. Extremely good value and so tasty! Desserts are heavenly! Really can't fault it! Staff are amazing! Chef was so appreciative for our positive feedback. So glad we stumbled across this Pub, defo our favorite stop over before flying out of Heathrow! Well done to all the lovely staff for making us feel so welcome!

We have come in twice now, each time we have a flight at Heathrow. The food is great, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is wonderful! I look forward to coming in again when I am in the area!

Food decent value for money. Servers provide good comedy value. Menu promised a lot but delivered little. Good for a bite to eat, perhaps not for a hot date. Would return.

Great pub with good beers, nice food and fantastic personal service from Becci. The pub was very quiet for a Saturday night as they're still being affected by the pandemic. If you're staying in one of the many hotels on Bath Road, then give this place a try!

Came across this lovely pub whilst we were staying at an airport hotel at Heathrow. It was decorated up for Christmas and looked really Christmasy. The staff were great and very welcoming and the food looked good english pub food at a reasonable cost. I would recommend this place to any traveller, good to stretch your legs and go somewhere.
