The menu selection for and Italian restaurant of this caliber is somewhat disappointing… The pasta selection is extremely average and on arrival looks pretty disappointing… I opted for the truffle Rigatoni which hardly had any truffle presence… I asked for more especially at the price. It was pretty tasteless and needed the extra garlic, Parmesan and chili to lift the flavor.. expensive and unimpressive The table agreed with every meal overpriced, small portions and underwhelming taste. Hope it was a bad day … next time we hope to see an improvement..

The setting of the restaurant and the surroundings are impeccable. I enjoyed the ravioli and had a bite of my boyfriend's oxtail which was fantastic. A great addition to the Fancourt experience.

Fine but the mission to get from parking to the restaurant and the lack of signage showing were the parking is, plus google sends you to the wrong gate, simply means we are unlikely to rush back. Better, better value restaurants exist without the hassle.

Gorgeous restaurant in stunning setting. Service efficient and friendly. Pizza outstanding. But eating out is all about value. So at R500 for a pizza, a plate of mediocre penne arrabiata and a couple of glasses of wine, mark me down as not blown away.

From the starters of fresh fruits or cheese selection, through the main course of tender lamb and assortment of cooked and fresh side dishes. Now the dessert... Wow, melt in your mouth morrish treats... Well worth the time and money. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Enjoyed a beautiful and elegant lunch today at this very trendy place. The decor and setting is sensational. Very efficient and friendly staff who pay attention to every detail as would be expected. The food was gorgeous. A good variety to choose from and some excellent vegetarian dishes prepared as well. Dessert was the perfect end to a splendid meal. Thank you for providing me with a memorable experience.

We enjoyed a great meal here with friends who live in Fancourt. It was my best meal in George. Open to the public and I highly recommend. Will definitely return

Very wonderful. We shared some starters and dessert - it was hella tasty. The gelato was only okay though. The panacotta amazing. The atfogato not my favourite. The carpaccio and calamari very delish. Service was excellent and the spontaneous unexpected entertainment also. Comfy chairs :P
