    Small savoury and sweet eats, well presented, clean with friendly service. Extensive cake menu. Variety of table and chair designs also serves as examples of furniture that can be ordered from the husband of the chef. Recommended.

    Lovely place, great atmosphere and delicious food! I would highly recommend the breakfast crossaints, especially the scrambled egg and salmon option. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of salmon provided, it was definitely a filling portion. On the sweet side, I would also recommend the cake tasting which allows you to taste 3 different cakes off the menu in one go. Great option, considering the high amount of choices!

    What a gem. Delicious and Fresh. The food is a taste adventure. The decor and atmosphere is relaxing and very charming. The service is prompt, friendly and shows a knowledge of the menu. Cakes were a little disappointing and could use some fine tuning, but torte and opera cake are good.

    Owner operated coffee shop. The lady are helpful and very friendly. I enjoyed the filter coffee and three deserts special for R45. This is a cosy, unique setting and I will be back.

    Mia is the best boss I have ever heard off.. the food is delicious and the bakery part is absolutely fantastic! The smells that comes out the kitchen is pleasantful for my health..

    Perfect little spot. Always lucky that it's quiet when I get there. Super friendly staff and super yummy coffee and treats. Everything nice and clean and a cute inside garden area to sit.

    How disappointing! No atmosphere, the waiters don't smile and seem grumpy, slow service and the entire place needs to be updated. Very old fashioned and definitely no warmth whatsoever. Cakes are not bad - but the experience is not what you would expect from a coffee shop like this.

    What a gem! Comfortable and pleasant, a must for anyone driving through George wanting an old world coffee shop (which serves full meals as well) experience. The option to sit in their 'atrium' amid a vast range of beautiful orchids, and enjoy the best pastries and cakes you will be hard pressed to beat. Well done guys!!!

    Mia hosted a function for us. Her venue is perfect for about 30 guests. Her delicacies, both sweet and savoury, were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. All home baked with her personal touch and using fresh, quality ingredients. I would recommend Dis Tyd to anyone, especially the discerning diner.
