    I read about people saying the service is slow and the drinks not at correct temperature.. Being in the area I went to check it out myself. The complaints are correct.. I did not bother to complain to a manager, because I did not see any. We were given 1 serviette for 3 people. I had to ask for more. Our hot drinks stood on a counter 2 meter away for 5 minnutes, before it was picked up by the server. Quite a few times I notices that the servers were all jamming up at the door, flocking potential customers. I asked soft eggs, guess what.. they were hard. We were served over the wood wall and not from the table entry side. Our booth was next to the drinks section..the servers were talking so loud, could not communicate with my spouse. In general the personnel looked tired and were just slow..very slow..2 fruit juices ordered at end an were informed after 6 minuter that the Mango juice was finished...changed order to any juice..waited an aditional 5 minutes.. I will not go to the Cuppuccinos in Gardenroute mall ever again.. Right on my last sip, I sucked a piece of glass up in the straw..told the server and was told.."Regtig? ek is baie jammer meneer"... Realy? I am verry sorry sir..

    Cappuccinos has become a favourite for breakfast on Saturdays when out doing shopping. The service is great and the seating areas alow for different likes. The food is great and served as per your request. I would recommend Cappuccinos to family and friends

    Food is very good. However there is a constant smell of smoke from I think their pizza oven which makes this place very unhealthy to eat. After a while sitting you need to leave as chest starts to close. This is a total place not to visit if you have any issues with breathing or children.

    Great place to get a cup of coffee and something to eat. They do a breakfast special which is usually decently priced for what you get. Atmosphere is very laid back and informal. Great spot to relax before or after watching a movie and the cinema next door.

    Service was slow. So hard to get waitress’s attention even though we sat right opposite the barista bar. Food was tasty but well short of the menu pics. My pizza had one small piece of salami per slice. Empty plates for about 15min before we found our waitress (wasn’t even on the floor). It’s a pity because the restaurant look and feel really appealed to us. Didn’t even try the coffee as we figured it would be cold by the time we got it! So much potential there but service really needs improvement.

    This was a terrible experience! We walked into the not so busy restaurant and had a seat. Ome waiter came to gove menus and said he will try to find our waiter. After 10min no one came. The manager just stood there and talked to a waiter.. and then went to a table to remove dirty glasses.. so dirty glasses on a unoccupied table is more important than people wanting to order something and sitting without attendance. We just left... without any service. Terrible!!!!!

    Waited over 20 minutes for my order to be taken. When I mentioned this to the waitress, the response was a blank stare. Not even an attempt at an apology. Reading the reviews, it seems many have had the same experience. I wonder if the owner bothers to read these reviews?

    Always enjoyed eating there. Today cold drinks were served at room temperature, had no ice. Had the impression that the place was not very clean, looking at the staff's T-shirts. Management should provide clean aprons daily, and more often when necessary.

    When you arrive, you are expected to wait to be seated... This wouldn't be a problem if someone was there to attend to you. After being seated at a dirty table and promised to have it cleaned, prepare yourself to ask another waiter / waitress to clean the table and take your drinks order (30min later). Food order was taken and delivered in a timely manner but the quality is debatable. I've had breakfast here in the past with exceptional service and quality. I would not recommend Cappuccinos for lunch.

    Restaurant was empty when we arrived. We’ve been before for breakfasts & dinner with good service, good food & vibe. Yesterday we arrived at 4pm - a waitress brought us menus but didn’t return, so after 20mins - we flagged down the barista/barman who sent us the manageress who said our waitress is busy in the back & she’d pass our order onto her. 40 mins later I had to wave my arms in the air to get attention because all the waitresses including the manageress all stroll around not making eye contact and I finally asked for our food - a very friendly waitress who’d been folding pizza boxes brought our food immediately. My flame-grilled lemon & herb chicken was cold obviously food just sat there waiting to be collected. This restaurant is huge with a fabulous menu & perfectly positioned. So it’s a real pity the staff are not better trained to serve properly. Customers should not be looking for service & we had to ask for the bill after our plates stood empty for 20 mins. Lucky my dinner guest was chatty so I wasn’t too embarrassed. Then as we about to leave - on comes the music. Seems we arrived when everyone was taking their afternoon nap. This restaurant should be a goldmine - I suggest the owners inject some energy & urgent training into this place - 3 other tables arrived in the time we were there & I noticed they didn’t get much attention either. It’s such a pity.
