The service was really pathetic, while one of the senior staff, was listening to another customer complaining about something, the manager just stood around joking with other staff members. When I approached him later to complain about the service his reply was "Why" not "I apologise sir, and why do you think the service was bad".I have no idea where your management gets there training, but I certainly won't be supporting you any longer and will tell anyone who will listen not to support you There is a big sign that flashes in the restaurant saying " If it wasn't for u, there wouldn't be an us". Your staff should practice what it says there. It's not the customers that need to see that sign. Very very disappointed😡

Haven't had an Egg McMuffin Meal for years, but this was a case of the right place at the right time and it most definitely hit the spot for a very early breakfast. Hash brown was very yummy 😋

I'm not from George, so it was such a breath of fresh air to actually have good food and service. I had a big Mac and the food looked exactly like the pictures which is honestly a first for me. It tasted amazing and filled me up. The service was great and everyone was very sweet.

McDonald's is our go-to when time and life catches up with us. The quality of the food is always good, it's always fresh and service is promt. The kids love their food and that's even without their knowing that you can buy ice cream there!

I come here alot my daughter and I love the food but we sat down a few weeks ago and we had very nice meals during loadshedding!!! The staff is always friendly and very helpful and I was able to hang out on TikTok while my daughter played in the playroom while the mindful staff member was always around but not intruding❤️❤️❤️

I had to change my review from a 5 star to a 1 star. What happened to the service?? It used to be good, but since last year we haven't had one complete order. There is always an item missing in the pack and today we got it again and again there was items missing and they gave the wrong burger! So now I have to get something else anyway. Please just check the order before giving it.

Had Really bad services both me and my wife said we don't want spicy with the promo code up size and get to collection and only get one cup, got home and both are spicy but as in extra spicy burger is drie and same with my wifes foldover

Amazing service in and out of Drive Thru during peak time

Took the kids for some Sunday activity play, but their playarea was closed. Decided to eat something still and not waste the trip. I think they can offer high chairs for babies as Mommies tend to take their kids there. Furthermore, as always nice food, only missed the playarea for the kids

I'm really impressed with the staff, they are very friendly and helpful. Overall I love everything about the place. All they could improve on is the chicken nuggets, I think they could be a little less dry.

Our very first McDonald's in South Africa (we're Belgian). The offer is completely different from what we're used to,but i like this better, more options for each menu. Just a shame the playground was closed, the kids really wanted to play, but getting a Sonic toy made up for that 😅. Overall a very good experience and staff was very friendly

Since this store was taken over by Corporate, it has gone to the dogs. A burger consists of a party between two bun halves. I’ve just had MacDonalds at Langeberg Mall, Mossel Bay - and it was like chalk and cheese compared to the exact same quarter pounder meal I had from this restaurant on Monday. I would give them 5/5. You guys get 1:5. Pull up your socks!

Waited almost 1 hour at the drive through. The service was so slow and to get the fries with barley any salt. Definitely not fast food service.

Sat down, waited 15 minutes for our order. Waited another 10 minutes for our dilrinks after we had received our food......no apology for the delay, nada!!!

Changing my original 5 stars to 2. Service is slow, some staff only arriving at 10am, no ice for ice coffee, many times out of stock of menu items. Food is okay sometimes a bit burnt wil not go back anytime soon.

If they're not out of serviettes then they make you pay for fries you don't even get. Two large and one medium fries in the image and yet there's almost no difference in the amount.

Insist on a till slip. On two occasions slips were withheld though I explicitly and repeatedly asked. Considering I nearly paid for another car's order in the drive through, I'd be careful at this McDonald's.

They didn't have jalapeño sauce rather disappointing. Note this was the second time they didn't have it. But other than that food was amazing. There was a guy super friendly at the door. Over all good 😊

I need to get this off my chest, because I am really not impressed with the McDonald's at George mall. On more than one occasion was I told that they don't have chicken nuggets. Or the sauce I asked for. Or the ice cream machine is broken. Or... And this is what irritates me most... That they don't have soft drinks. When you choose the drink they offer you, you have to pay the ridiculous add on because it is not a standard drink. Surely if they have a problem they need to find a solution that doesn't cost the client extra money. And really, it's NOT about the money. The service delivery at this branch is bad. I know being a Karen is not going to change a thing. But at least I can let off some steam and move on.

Wanted to order food, drove from home just to find out that they close 15 minutes in advance ! Terrible service. I spoke to the manager to ask him why they are closing ahead of time while looking at my watch and he lies to my face telling me it is 2 minutes past closing time ! Thats just terrible service. Wish i could give a lower rating !

Did not hate the place. They placed my order on machine, gave me the slip and I took my seat together with 2 other people and we WAITED about 20 mins. There is no notification to explain that we have to pay first and then take a seat. I am an inspector with NOSA and quality control.

Food and service are decent, but does not operate according to advertised business hours. Ice cream machine is always broken.

They gotten the order wrong again, now the first 2 times I was willing to pay for the mistakes, today they just plainly refused to correct their mistake... I would definitely not refer them to anyone nor would I buy from them again

Ive always spoken highly of this particular McDonald's but as of sunday morning just pass 2 we went through the drive through My brother in law started talking to another client and the lady at the receiving window practically dropped our food on his lap and said " ek gaan nie myself repeat nie" where my brother in law frankly said she's rude and has no customer service. She then came navk with the rest of our order and says dus die laaste fokin keer dat jy so met my praat. Her vulgar language and attitude is definitely not of customer service. Someone in the car happened to know her Lauren is her name. To top it all of when we got home our fries had no Jalapenos! Never setting foot there again!

Worst service we have ever experienced. We ordered our food at 11:40am, at 12:10PM we are still waiting for our food. We asked one of the waiters what happened and she told us because one of the orders are a chicken burger they have to defrost the chicken and cook the pattie from scratch, which doesn't make sense at all. A few minutes later she comes back and told us it seems as if the kitchen thru away our slip, apologized in the air and left us. She made it seem as if we are at fault for ordering a chicken burger only find out later they lost our order. Very disappointed McDs.

For the past 2 weeks they have been closed by 11pm on a Friday and a Saturday they have a sign that says 24 hours and if you look at their times on their website it says that on Friday and Saturday they are open 24 hours we got there at 11pm and they were closed and on top of that the staff were so rude it seemed like an effort for them to tell us in a polite manner that they are closed! THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!
