This restaurant is worth a visit. My wife and I started by sharing their full beer tasting (8 beers) of Robertson Brewery which includes various different ales, weissbier, witbier and a stout. The brewery itself is located in George with the name having no relation to the town of Roberston, but rather the Roberston family. We then ordered some tapas. There are platters available, but we decided to order individual items, opting for the chilli poppers and the halumi and burger sliders, which were all very tasty and enough for 2 people to share. Just be careful of the poppers - although they were really tasty they really packed a punch! They also do gin tasting where you get to choose from a range of flavours to taste. It is the same gin and tonic throughout, but they add different flavoured syrups. The restaurant overlooks a courtyard filled with big green trees and curio shops which makes it a great place to relax. Bite Burger & Tapas Bar is a good option for couples or groups of friends to relax at and they also have a big television on which they show live sport so its also a nice option for match days.

We dined here on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. The service was good and we had a lovely platter and a great craft beer.

Good service. Easy menu. Burgers are excellent. For gluten intolerant people, just be careful of the fries (chips) as they contain flour. We were allowed to watch cycling for a while until rugby had to be watched. Wish restaurants would realise that not everyone in South Africa like rugby!! But had a wonderful time. Good spot in the middle of big Milkwood trees. Definitely worth it.

We were supposed to pay for our burgers 80 Rands each, because they were on special (drinks and french fries included). But we paid 246 Rands. And waitress demanded tips, but I was suppose to do it. So I paid in the end 270. When I asked why did we pay more, they answered, that we ordered for take away and nobody told us that it would be 100 Rands more. But we changed our minds and ate inside. Not nice!

👍👍 I enjoyed my time and food at 34 Degrees South. If you sit outside, you get treated to awesome views too of what can be described like Venice. Towards the latter part of the day, you'll see a gorgeous South African sunset (if there are no clouds). I had some wine by the glass, one of the few places...
