Visited Salinas for the Father's day lunch special (sirloin and calamari combo). The food was tasty and good portion size. Spacious restaurant with various seating options. Best part - the sea view!

Went to check what the hype was about, the view, food and service were not just fast but excellent as well. The Sushi was really delicious and beer ice cold, could not fault them at all.. Well done we would definitely return when in the area.

Great sea food! I can only highly recommend this place! Amazing view from the second floor terace and very good service. We were with 4 ordering different starters and main dishes (only fish and sea food) and they were all fresh and super delicious.

Amazing food and awesome views. If the weather is a bit gloomy, you don't have to miss out on seeing the ocean! We had lovely service too.

We have revisited this restaurant over many years. The food is outstanding. Today, we had a seafood mild curry. Out of this world. The service is always great. Views from the balconies picture perfect. We met the owner Masimo today. It is amazing that an owner can still be so passionate about his restaurant after so many years.

What a great place! The owners and waiters are so welcoming, and the food is amazing. We went there for a friends birthday and they made her feel really special. Stunning view and atmosphere. So yourself a favor and go here for dinner or drinks! 10/10 can reccomend.

Great food, professional and friendly service, and excellent view of the ocean. We enjoyed he smoked smoke and sweet potato fishcakes, Moroccan chicken salad, fish of the day (kabeljou) with seasonal veggies and potato wedges. A bit disappointing that they didn't serve lobster, but this was not a fault on their part.

Beautiful setting overlooking the beach. Seems super popular- for good reason. Service is good and the food is good pub good, with some specials available. Prices are reasonable. I will definitely return.

Best to book in advance. We got there without a booking but they made a plan to serve us. Manager really made us feel welcome and made sure the hungry kids was served first.

Was very busy but best sole I ever had. Really impressed with the lovely cocktails as well. Can get a bit windy so dress warm if you want to sit outside.

Amazing food, view and service!

Amazing view while the sun sets behind the mountains. Atmosphere was excellent while we sipped down our drinks and nibbled our delicious food.

Been a few times and always excellent food and service. Menu has changed since last time I popped in but the curry is a must try ! And the prices are quite reasonable. We sat on the top floor for the first time and on a warmer summers night u could sit outside and listen and see the ocean from this beautiful spot. Overall it's still a stop over on my way though or if I staying over in wilderness like I am now. Don't miss out when your in wilderness!

A wonderful place near the sea. You can see the mountains and sea. Best time to go before they get busy is between 17:00 and 18:00. You can sit inside or outside. Food is delicious. Service is amazing. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Wheelchair accessible.

The best and most fresh hake I've ever had. The service is impeccable and outstanding. Beautiful view from the terrace. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommending this place and it's a must visit when we are in Wilderness!

Rustic charm with a modern twist! We visited on a rainy day and what a pleasure. Walking up the stairs (or taking the lift) takes you upstairs to the friendly hosts, welcoming you immediately. The food and drink are made well and with attention to detail, and the service is always on point and done with a smile - and nothing seems to be too much of a hassle for anyone. If you have small children, the outside area offers entertainment and fun on a big wooden ship, with tables and seating on the deck for family gatherings. We look forward to spending a sunny day at Salinas soon!

Had the Pork Steak Burger with marmalade and ginger butter served with apple and cucumber slaw. Enjoyed the flavours. Service was excellent and the view is superb.

We waited very long for someone to come and take our drink orders and there was no one in sight to try and catch their eye.. We ordered starters with our drinks as we did not know when we will see our waiter again. She then brought me the wrong wine. Our waitress were friendly though and quickly brought the correct wine. The food was average. We did visit on a long weekend...they were very busy and this definitly affected service. The setting / atmosphere is beautiful though. If you have patience...give it a try...we left after starters as I were afraid of how long mains would take.

Their Puri and garnishes arrived with the meal unlike the traditional, arriving before the meal. The Puri was absolutely divine; the combination of saltines and flavour was tantalizing. Best Puri I've tasted. The restaurant was hit by load shedding while I was there, there was a temporary candlelight moment before their generator kicked in. Music kicked in a few minutes after the load shedding, but everything worked almost a few minutes after load shedding. More than enough curry, even after I demolished the rice that came with lentils and sambels- I took the curry as a left over. Their curry lacked a bit of flavour but their rice and lentils had a very delectable homey taste. Cheapest glass of wine is around R55 and the curry comes with the rice (good value for money) the waiter was very friendly and easily accommodated me moving from outside to inside. He also gave me a blanket for the chilly weather outside and informed me of the vegan wine options, which I found pretty informative. This place also had an impressive wheelchair access slope and lift 😀, from seafood, meat and vegan options it really appeared to cater for all. Haven't seen that in a while. The views from the outside deck were so tranquil. There was also the option of sitting on the third floor which I assume had better views. In addition one of the waitresses instinctively brought a glass of water with a lemon in it when I started choking (curry down the wrong pipe🤣); great service. Toilets with bag handles and clean.

Food was great, staff was friendly and attentive, and the view was always very nice! The restaurant is easy to find and there is enough parking as you also have the beach parking as an option, then it’s just a short walk around the corner to get to the restaurant. It is in the second floor, but there is an elevator so it’s not a problem if you can’t use the stairs! The waiting period for food and drinks is just the right amount, so no complaints there! I would definitely recommend Salinas to anyone who wants a nice lunch near, but not in the beach!

A restaurant with an unmatched view where you can watch the most dramatic sunsets unfold while sipping a cocktail and eating some beer-battered potato chips with friends and family. The staff are friendly but hurried and not always easy to call on and the portioning of some dishes could be tweaked. The hummus could come with more bread for the quantity of hummus provided (they did bring more bread on request though) and the curry dishes could have had more rice for the amount of curry.

We had a burger. Was very nice. Service is good. Two complaints. We ordered pear juice and when it arrived the glass had only half juice and the rest was foam. Had a draft glass had food stuck to the inside of the glass and berry seeds floating in the beer.

Top quality food, well priced. Great variety on the menu. Loads of seating, inside and out. The views (on both decks) are simply breathtaking. Staff are friendly and very efficient. I would highly recommend this for sundowners on the deck (weather permitting) or a leisurely lunch.
