    1. Maybe consider supplying a bottle of complimentary water in the rooms? 2. Maybe ensure everything in the room is in perfect working condition? 3. Lovely central location, staff is friendly. 4. Please work on the breakfast arrangement.

Front Desk staff are friendly and that is where it ends. Rooms are dated and the beds are uncomfortable. The Connectivity is questionable and they need to improve backup power supply. Breakfast in the mornings was dismal. Poor Service, Poor quality of food and hot breakfast items were basically cold. Long way to go, to become something worth talking about.

Lovely little hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. I accidentally left my laptop charger in the roomand they called me after I checked out to let me know and helped by arranging a courier to send me my charger with no extra fee on top of the courier fee! In a week I had my charger back. I was very impressed with this service which they provided me. Their breakfast is lovely with a good variety but it is pricey so eat your fill. Their is a generator but during my stay they did not use it but at least they had lamps in the room and passages for the guests. The friendly staff are the highlight of the place!

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Generator worked, Water on arrival would be nice. Cleaning staff friendly. Breakfast is poor, leftovers from dinner is served at breakfast (cold pumpkin pie). Dinner buffet is poor, malva pudding dry and custard had a weird taste, 3 dishes to choose, chicken leg curry, beef stew or veg pasta. The one salad that was served was dry, no salad dressing available. The dessert served the following night was apple pie, but should be called raisin pie, it was about 1cm in height and dried out. Location is good as you can walk to other restaurants.

Very small rooms, no iron nor bar fridge. No generators loadshedding as per normal such an inconvenience especially for business travel. Poor Hotel over all

Some Reno work going on at present but it’s still a good central place stay for good value for money. But no generator just yet!

Loved the old character, it had charm and created a nostalgic feeling. The staff was very accommodating. Helped us with our luggage, stored our food in the freezer and answered all our questions. They are busy with renovations which isn't bothersome at all. I'm looking forward to what the end result will be. Ps. We stayed at the hotel in order to be first in line at George Homeaffairs. They are located in the same street, with one block between the two locations. I highly recommend you stay in this hotel if you also have to visit the Homeaffairs in George.

Staff are friendly and accommodating, hotel is well situated in the centre of town with secure, gated parking but the bathrooms could do with an upgrade. The bath in my room had huge cracks in it so bathing not possible but the shower ( over the bath) was pleasant. The other rooms i stayed in before were fine but outdated. Would be beneficial to have a fridge in the room and a generator during loadshedding.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Stayed in clean room and got a basic breakfast. The breakfast wasnt worth the money you pay, got cold coffee. The coffee delivered to room was nice surprise, but also cold. I would suggest that you do not put an elderly couple in a room next to a noisy building on a friday evening, but overall not bad.

Breakfast is basic. Not much entertainment. Location is ok but you have to walk to eat or you have to eat in your room.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful... rooms dirty, dead squished mosquitoes on the walls and mirror, light fittings full of dust, towel given extremely old as it was unraveling to top it all off for breakfast not even a toaster as it broke the day before... for the ammount paid I have slept in much better equipped rooms

Excellent value for money. This is great if you are looking for a bed for the night. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, secure parking and centrally situated within walking distance of good restaurants and coffee shops.

We were very recently booked for 5 nights at this establishment by our corporate travel agent. After reading previous reviews, we were very, very concerned. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome at reception and in the restaurant, clean, neat and comfortable rooms as well as the breakfasts and dinners. There was a decent enough selection for both meals, on the a la carte menu as well as the buffet and as a vegetarian, I appreciated having this option available. The generator worked perfectly during loadshedding. The hotel is close to the airport and has easy access to the N2. Thank you again. Karin

Rooms are lovely and clean. Staff are friendly and service was good. Only issue is that the rooms are very close together and not sound proof at all. Only stayed for 2 nights and it was very disruptive both nights and mornings.
