Best stay to date! We received a warm welcome from Thereasa who manages the accommodation. She completely spoiled us and took great care of all our needs. Would definitely recommend to anyone who seeks living in elegance and class.

I've been staying at Whispering oaks every month on business for over a year, and it really feels like my home away from home. The rooms are always clean and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and it's definitely the best breakfast in town!

Decent rooms and good location but obnoxious, rude and arrogant manager that phoned me repeatedly and sent me WhatsApp messages when I was late to check in, due to a flight delay.

I always stay at Whispering Oaks when I am in George, a great location as it is central. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great. Always a great stay.

Beautiful place, with a quiet ambiance in the city. Receptionist lacks the attitude of a host for such an establishment! Friendliness is key and of utmost importance.

From reception to departure was a great experience. The room was large and perfectly designed. The gardens was first class with a great veriety of local plants neatly trimmed. The breakfast was excellent with more trimmings tgan needed. The service of the manager was professional and friendly. We will book there again when we visit the area again.

Jonelle who saw to our stay was warm and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and well stocked for a B&B, i.e., they provided ground coffee and a plunger, fresh milk, biscuit, sweet and bottled water. Jonelle was attentive as the manager of the Lodge. The breakfast was generous and well presented and the spicy veggie omelet was top drawer! The garden and patio setting was tranquil and beautiful. Thank you so much Jonelle, we'll definitely be back!

Amazing clean rooms, dstv, wifi, pool I'm a chef myself and was blown away by the breakfast friendly staff very welcoming so much so I've stayed an extra night. A must stop if you in Gorgoe.

The guest house is suitable for business people, tourists and even South Africans visiting family in the area. Has a relaxing atmosphere & beautiful view of the Outeniqua mountains.... All Rooms Tastefully furnished with showers ensuite. Beautiful detailed all around!!!! Suites are equipped with everything you need, Satellite TV, coffee-making facilities, hairdryer and other personalised touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each room has a parking bay conveniently situated outside infront of the guesthouse, and guests have 24/7 access to the electronic gates. Rooms are serviced daily. Breakfast is purely outstanding. Once again attention to detail is phenomenal. Loved my 2night stayed here.

What a FANTASTIC home to stay at. I say home, cause it felt just like that. The owner is so friendly and will do anything to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were awesome with amazing surroundings of the beautiful garden. Our room was spacious and perfect for our stay. Will definitely be back.

Maintains an excellent standard. Only issue in past has been inconsistent internet. This trip no issue. Will always be my go to place in George.
