Beautiful property, stunning gardens, super hosts... It felt like we were staying with friends. The perfect place to relax, yet central to everything in George.

This place is just incredible... historic, beautifully renovated, comfortable; it has amazing views and friendly owners. They had the best breakfast and outside seating within a beautiful garden which copies the European style often seen at palaces and royal residences. It's worth it for the experience and the great memories you will have afterwards. The garden is a genuine masterpiece, and speaking to the owner about it made us appreciate his hard work and vision even more. This place is iconic. Deserves its 5 star status.

Open garden visit. What a lovely English style garden! Spacious, over a hundred years old and still being developed by the owner, who spent time personally taking us through and discussing various exotic and local plants.

Beautiful place, beautiful service, beautiful room. We enjoyed our stay, we came with our beautiful 3 week old baby daughter. They had a cot ready for us. Very welcoming. I highly recommend it....

Philda is an outstanding hostess, who gave us great recommendations. Set on a historical George property, the heritage manor house is surrounded with an impressive garden created by Desmond, Philda's husband. Our double room was immaculate and was equipped with everything needed to make our stay comfortable – quality linen and towels, tea & coffee, fresh flowers and fragrant amenities. We were reluctant to leave.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Fairview Homestead. The rooms were neat and tidy. We had a stroll in the beautiful garden and it is conveniently located close to the centre of town.

Brilliant setup, gracious host. Can't wait to return.
