This place is so nice. I am sad that we are leaving soon. I am really having fun and I love the coffee shop. Karen and Ross are so friendly, and Jennifer is very friendly too. Every time we come back from the beach the room is clean. The beach is just a four minute walk and the restaurants are just a one minute walk away. I am really enjoying our stay if I could I would give this place 1000000 stars. I am really really really sad that we going to leave soon. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Incredibly place for a whole family or individual experience. Beautiful beach views with very short walk to the beach. Book out the entire place for an extended family vacation.

We just had a great family holiday here. There were 6 adults & 5 kids. We took the entire lodge & it was perfect. Lots of areas to sit & play games as well as just chill. A big outside braai with shaded seating for all of us. All rooms with large bathroom, TV & fridge. Lots to do in the area with beaches closed. Best of all the best coffee in town right on our doorstep!!

If you don't like big spiders then you will have some issues here. But we had no big ones in our rooms. Only the small baby's of them. The lessors were pretty kind and nice to us. Bathroom is small but amazing clean and nice.

My lady and myself along with our 8month child had a stay here, the rooms are very clean the showers are amazing pressure and heat just right, fridge in your room, tv, storage space, tea coffee in the room ,and coffee shop right next door is amazing fresh baked goods for breakfast amazing coffee, the staff are very friendly. And the best are amazing all-around I must say one of the better spots to stay. In Wilderness.

Made to feel very welcome. Lovely comfy king size bed. Perhaps consider replacing bamboo door between bedroom and bathroom with solid door. Affords no privacy at all - even after 45 years of marriage 😁😁😁

Great location. Lovely hosts. Only downer was that we were led to believe it was self catering but we were denied access to the kitchen unless we had booked all the rooms. Not much you can prepare in a microwave.

Cozy small and personal. It is a bit away from the main village are but not to far. I loved staying here, they don't serve breakfast but there are plenty of places in Wilderness that serves a good breakfast

Because the hostess has a issue with people of other colour. Spend 1 night with friends from Germany and she actually only welcome them with handshakes and ignored me. Should be removed from your website.

Awesome accomodation! What else can you wish for? Clean and beautiful rooms, great athmosphere, hard working and super friendly staff, close location to good restaurants, the wonderful beach of Wilderness, the river (go kayaking! ☺️) and just a short drive to the easy to swim beach at Victoria Bay! The result: we extended our stay in wilderness due to the mentioned reasons! Will defintely come again and stay at Amber light Beach Cottages - thank you so much for the wonderful time!

We had an amazing stay in wilderness at amber light! We loved our en-suite room and all the communal areas were fantastic also. Everything was extremely clean and tidy with loads of thoughtful touches. It was a great space for chilling in but we loved wilderness so much we also spent a lot of time out and about. It’s in a great location in very close proximity to all the bars and restaurants. All the guys work very hard to keep the place looking beautiful and our room was always kept fresh and clean during our stay. We will be back!!
