Best for shorter stays. Rooms are hotel room style... but pack dinner or be prepared to make the drive to a restaurant each evening. Showers just need a little bleach...but I think this will kill off their water saving septic tank situation??? so pack flip flops. View is amazing. Be early for breakfast and don't expect to be served within an hour.... this place is about chill, ok?! (Paraphrasing our waitress).

The room was beautiful, the view unmatched. We stayed for 2 nights and we did not get the breakfast experience everyone raved about. The first night we had prepackaged breakfast as the staff leave the premises at 4pm. The water in my room was not replenished on the 2nd day and at breakfast I asked for a bran muffin and an apple and was informed there was no fruit or bran muffins. Eventually I was brought an apple that looked weeks old, I left it on the table at checkout.

Exquisite view of the the Groot Brak estuary from on top of the tree topped hills. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We also managed to check in very late under the circumstances and appreciated a great breakfast variety on the veranda overlooking the valley. Staff are truly very friendly and happy to be there. Really refreshing.

The lodge has a small restuarant that is open to everyone. The view is incredible, servive was friendly and the food was spot on.

Well lept accomodation and very modern. The view is astonising beautiful. Nice pool close by rooms.

this place is beautiful and amazing view, and prices are affordable but I got food poisoning from the omelet that I had there in the morning 🥴 Im sure it was just a bad egg that nobody could have prevented. Otherwise no complaints, service was good too. We just popped in for breakfast, I had a quick look at the rooms and wow, I must say BEAUTIFUL!!

Ilita Lodge with breakfast included was really lovely.. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished with a balcony including a table and chairs to chill out enjoying the stunning view.. There is a restaurant on the premises which is a bonus if you don't feel like driving anywhere..

Place was not clean and not anything as per the pictures on the website. We actually tried to find alternative accommodation before we were moved to another unit at the lodge. The views saved us from being dismally disappointed. Such a pity that the lodge is such a letdown to its beautiful setting.

This is a lovely place to visit just for the scenery and setting. Personally I found the menu items to be quite pricey and the food underwhelming.

Do not visit this place if you want chips with your food when it is load shedding. Otherwise great and beautiful

Ilita Lodge is one of those places that you walk into and just feel right at home. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms in the lodge are absolutely amazing. Comfortable beds, great aircon, and a really nice shower. Their on-site eatery closes relatively early (19h00), and their menu is limited, but the food is great!!

Great food with one of the most beautiful views in Mosselbay area. Staff is professional and yet make you feel at home. Recommend anytime as a must to visit.

Set in a perfect location overlooking Great Brak, quiet, calm and lovely atmosphere worth the visit. Friendly staff. Perfect for a getaway to recharge.

What an Amazing place ,the view is outstanding beautiful,it’s fantastic to come here and relax ,clean rooms and lovely gardens to take your little doggie for a walk . I had the most friendly welcome from Lisa at the reception which I think is so important. I can highly recommend Ilita Lodge if you visit the Garden Route . Thank you for a lovely stay .

Loved it! The view is amazing, the rooms are nice and cozy. I didn't have time to enjoy the pool during my stay but there is a swimming pool with a nice breakfast. Access to it is quite interesting, it's a gravel road on a steep hill. Well worth the drive

Beach on the backyard!! Our daughters booked there for a Choir Festival in George, and what fun time they had at Ilita! Awesome place for a vacation, we are definately coming as a family.

Beautiful place, beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. A friend had forgotten her wedding band on our check-out and we had to drive back for it, we were just so grateful to recover it on our return. We would have loved to have enjoyed their breakfast but were hit with loadshedding on both mornings of our stay.

Spent four nights at Illita Lodge. The place inside and outside is always neat and tidy. Staff is very friendly and ready to assist with request. During the day and night you have a great outlook over the low lying areas which is just so much to take in especially at night. Breakfast and lunch on the premises is available. You will not make a mistake to visit.

This is not my 1st visit to this wonderful place and I need to emphasise on the Excellent service, friendly and efficient staff and yummy food. The views are amazing and this is the ideal breakaway if you want to relax and clear your headspace. They also mix a wonderful cocktail... if you dare. The price in comparison to the service is unreal. Real value, beautiful views with peace and tranquility.
