Amazing pizza's every Saturday evening. It ruins pizza for you at any other place. A true family experience with delightful hosts, René and Mike.

On our way from Cape Town to the Pure Nature Lodge in Paterson we stopped twice at The Old Trading Post for a one-night stop-over. We really enjoyed it and on the way back to Cape Town it felt already like coming home :-) And the pizza dinner was really outstanding - really the best pizza we ever had!!! Next time we try to stay longer for some more activities in Wilderness...

Loved it all the way. The host and hostess are wonderful, helpful, kind and friendly. Wonderful pizza's. A place to have a good rest and enjoy nature. Beautiful surroundings. So much to do, but best of all they are PET FRIENDLY

Renee and hubby are fantastic hosts.. The homemade pizzas are so delicious! The breakfast was a spread to die for for.. So much effort put in just for the two of us... Will definitely see u again 🤗

Haven't had the fortune of staying over but ordered some delicious pizza for takeout. Best in Wilderness for sure! A must if staying in the area.

Very clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Nice breakfast. In a beautiful location.

Mike, Rene and the pooches are excellent hosts. Quiet but accessible. Good for short or longer stay. Try Rene's pizza. And do have the breakfast option - well worth it.

Friendly, very polite and helpfull hosts. The place is clean and tidy and has a warm, homy atmosphere.

We unfortunately only had 2 nights here. I don't think I have ever heard so many birds. Peaceful, quiet and sparkling clean. Friendly hosts and lovely thoughtful touches. I would definitely recommend. You feel off the beaten track but it is in fact fairly central.

We chose the glamping option. It was awesome. Loved the rustic look and feel. Great breakfast.
