Absolutely amazing! Peaceful and quiet, on a beautiful dam. The cottages are very comfortable inside, well-equipped with everything needed (and more) to make for an unforgettable weekend.

We had such a lovely stay at Toorbos. Great care is given to ensure optimal convenience and comfort for guests - high quality linen and an ample amount of bedding and towels, even providing fishing rods for the guys. Lots of outside seating for that sunrise breakfast and for socialising around the boma. We absolutely loved having some furry companions around for the occasional cuddle. If peace and tranquility is what you're after; this is the place for you.

Upon arrival there was nobody at the office and when I phoned they had our booking mixed up. When we finally got the keys they had put us in a different cottage than what the lady recommended over the phone. We were the only guests there. Booked there because they advertised that the cottages had aircon and dstv and this would make our stay more comfortable with a baby. The aircon did not work and on out last night there the dstv did not work. The water was really stinky in the bathroom and the drinking water from the filter tap had a bad taste. Luckily we packed a 5L. Really beautiful area but unfortunately our experience there was not that great.

Absolutely beautiful. Peaceful. Clean and fresh..... Will most definitely come back.
