Beside not having much signal was this the best place to be at. Quiet serenity at it's best. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone. I don't regret it all. Jacuzzis, swimming pool. Open grass patches for kids to play and run around. LOERIE COTTAGE is an 8 sleeper and super spacious.

Lovely getaway. Froggy lodge has no cell signal which was a great retreat from tech. Unit does have dstv and is catered for in terms of loadshedding. It is tranquil and scenic. Overall a great experience with wonderful service. Lovely venue for functions and not far from beach. Take a stroll through the forest on the property and enjoy the scenic drive.

A wonderful guesthouse. Peter and Christene are super friendly. This is one the few places in the world where you can still see massive draft horses. The try to keep this unique horse line alive. The food is very tasty and the portion are massive. Farm food portions. We were served lamb stew so rich and tender. And a perfect basque cheese cake with caramelized strawberries. Well worth it.

Great space for relaxing

We had our wedding there In November, and it was the most beautiful venue ever! Everyone kept going on about how stunning and green it was. Sandra and Rudolph were super hands on and ensured that everything was done to perfection and Sandra's response time was out of this world. Will be back just for a weekend getaway for sure!

We've had the privilege to stay at Beyond The Moon for an extended period. We can honestly say it has been one of the best places we've stayed. Late afternoon walks in the Forest, gorgeous scenery we slowed down and experience farm life and the precious people that make Beyond The Moon a 5-star experience... This is a beautiful place. Well equipped for weddings or any functions. The whole place is off the beaten track and is kept beautifully. Helpful and friendly management.

Great place for a family to enjoy themselves. Also a great place for a writer to unwind. There are animals, hiking trails, a river and a lot of nature to take in.

Beautiful farm with a nice view but Kingfisher Cottage is a bit small for 5 people. Shower was blocked and not warm. If dirt and spiders freak you out I would not recommend to go to Beyond the Moon. Not too far from Wilderness

Perfect breakaway

We stayed here (at the River Sanctuary unit) as our last stop on our honeymoon. It was more than accommodation, it was an experience. The unit was very comfortable and well equipped. It was a romantic get-away complete with a beautiful outside shower, a large and well designed personal fire pit around which we sang with some guitar on our last night, a fireplace, the soft continuous sound of the flowing stream, monkeys, birds and other forest choruses, and all enjoyed within an exclusively private space out of sight of the other units. Mix with this a forest filled with adventure and a pond with a row boat and you have a romantic get-away that any nature lover would appreciate. We had face-to-face encounters with a lot of spiders (which they somehow manage to keep out of the unit) and some baboons along the truly beautiful Owl hiking trail. There were almost no mosquitoes when we went (early May) and it was still warm enough to enjoy the outdoors.

Lately, Every time I come to George on business I stay at Beyond The Moon. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. The surrounding is heavenly. Perfect for business travel when you would like to relax after a busy day. The facilities are all that you would need, a clean double bed in one room, a tv and Dstv decoder in another room with couches, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom, a kids bedroom and a built in braai area outside the room. Free WiFi is also available. Excellent place !

Great venue for wedding.

Peacful and quiet...only the sounds of birds and the beautiful stream running past our cottage. Well equipped. Did not need to bring anything. So if you really want to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings you will really enjoy this place because there is no internet reception or tv.

Lovely location and incredible property. I felt the chalets are very very basic and had a silly build with silly features that make life challenging (window blinds). The reception seemed disorganized and were very unprofessional when working over email and without account.
