Booked for something called "wings Wednesday". After figuring out that this was referring to chicken wings I felt comfortable ordering more. Sion assured me that "it happens" and to not worry about it and was great at answering my other chicken-related questions and what a "cajun rub" was and was not. Archie brought me my guest beer in a knowledgeable and timely fashion. His cheerful demeanor put me at ease after some awkward moments regarding my lack of culinary prowess. Charlie was fantastic behind the bar, perfect pours! He kept saying that it was his first day. I'm not usually one to debate a bartender on the nature of their employment record so I assumed he was just born being awesome at pouring beer. The food from the kitchen was PERFECTLY cooked. As a food artisan myself, I was impressed and inspired. As a Google Local Guide, I can use what clout that affords me to honestly say, "best 'wings' in Oxford!" 12/10 stars

Went for some drinks and a bite to eat recently. Unfortunately the staff weren't very helpful and it took us 40 mins to get our drinks, which considering it was a quiet weekday was pretty shocking. But lovely atmosphere and a nice place to sit outside and watch Cowley Road.

It's worth a visit. Stop by, have a drink or three. The staff are amiable, knowledgeable about the products and, ladies, the bathrooms have provisions should you need them - if you get my drift.

Very enjoyable stay and staff was lovely. Massive selection of drinks available with tasters available too. Interior has a good atmosphere and plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff was prepared with suggestions and recommendations. Prices were reasonable for Oxford.

Fantastic staff, great chilled atmosphere with a beautiful rustic decor, Retro video games on a couple tables, comfy booths, beer selection cannot be beaten and most importantly the buffalo wings with the blue cheese sauce is something that I crave daily. Drinks are cheap for Oxford and they are strong.

Had a great lunch and beers, Valentine was very friendly and helpful. We had the Korean BBQ chicken burger which was yummy! And Tartarus Wolpertinger was nice and refreshing and loved the new Nanodog 0004. Our dog loved the doggie beer and biscuits🐶

This pub always boasts an impressive selection of fine stouts. During this visit I tried the Deep punk at 7.0% it was a dark and delicious full bodied experience. I also tried the "World famous wings" with a side salad Plain fries. Everything was cooked and served beautifully and my personal quirks noted. Very good and ample portions too. Unfortunately the place was freezing cold and I did have to move away from the extremely drafty window. Always friendly service from a happy and enthusiastic team

Not overly impressed with the service, although the beer was in good condition and the food was lovely. Went to walk in an open door at 11:55 to be told bluntly 'we're not open' my reply 'I have a table booked for 12, his response 'well it's not 12 yet' fair enough. Went in at 12 and everything was fine, had some beer, had some food, all good. Waitress/bar staff came to clear our plates while my wife was still eating, she took my plate and stood waiting while my wife finished her food, bad form. These may seem like minor gripes, but things the need tidying up in my opinion. Fans of the brewdog brand (me included) will keep returning, but new customers may well be put off.

Haven't been here for the food but the people are genuinely nice. Due to a mix-up I'd left my phone in a cab (on the other side of Oxford), which then wound up taking its next passengers to this place. My phone was safely kept in the custody of the bartender, who handed it back to me with a smile. I owe them a debt of gratitude.

Tiny burger. Needless packaging. Bit pricey. All overlook-able. My partner's salad arrived without half the ingredients listed on menu. When queried poor waiting staff were sent to apologise. Would have been better if chef, knowing the problem, fessed up and offered something else. Pricey drinks. Atmosphere good but there are better places for food in Cowley.

We ordered The Feast sharer platter & when it arrived it was most definitely not a feast nor truly enough for sharing. Chicken was overcooked & overall it was pretty disappointing. Luckily we used the 'kids eat free' deal so at least the bill wasn't huge. Staff seemed flustered & service reflected that.

Pre booked and paid for wings Wednesday. Having arrived, sat down, transferred our wheelchair user to a seat and decided what everyone wanted to drink we are then told at the bar that there is no beer! Given that the staff knew about this all day why was there no attempt to contact people? Am I returning? Not likely as there are many better pubs in oxford.

Half of items on menu are not available. Beer served warm. Our second time here but money very poor deal. Staff is very nice and tried to compensate but offerings from brewdog as company .. not worth !!

I order coffe but they gave me my coffee in a glass like in Soviet Union times. It was funny but I really enjoyed my coffee because of the weather, but I wish they could have proper mugs or paper cups, because coffee gets cold very quickly in a glass. Place is amazing for sunny days but not happy about glass and coffee way that shouldn't be given like that. ;(

Great atmosphere and a lovely little terrace to enjoy the evening sun from. Service seemed a little haphazard and a little difficult to get their point across about missing menu items but other than that we had a great experience. The ordering website was easy to use as well. The burger was delicious, but the deep-fried oreos didn't quite hit the mark for me.

I ordered Jack Burger and it was quite tasty. (minus the jackfruit texture which became a tad bit too much in center of patty but that's because I have the fruit's texture) but overall it was great! The beer was very good as well. Unfortunately they rarely have wit beer! Would love it if they add it to their selection. The staff is very friendly!

Service was absolutely brilliant, sat a group of 8 of us straight away on a walk in. Bar staff were really helpful and offered free samples to get the perfect pint which is really nice of them. Came over and asked us how everything was / for feedback on their new cocktails- wings were really good as well! Absolutely cannot recommend more!

Went in for some food and drink with my friends. The food, beer, service and music was great! Angus and Lucy were very kind and knew what they were talking about when it comes to the menu and beer. Very satisfied!

As with most Brewdog pubs, Brewdog Oxford has a good selection of guest beers, and staff that are familiar with what they're serving. For those looking for good craft beer, it's a safe choice. We also choose Brewdog because it is verified on Untappd, making finding new beers easy. The selection of bottles and cans is good, especially if you like sours or flavoured stouts. Bare in mind that the fridges don't have everything, and there's more in the cellar. If you're after something specific, it's worth checking the Untappd menu and asking the bar staff. The pub itself has been a bit too hot when we've visited this winter, sometimes smelling quite strongly of food, and the tables are a bit cramped and sticky. This seems to be a running theme with the Brewdog bars I've visited. We're looking forward to the warmer months so we can sit outside.

It's a shame that this brewdog let down the franchise. There were a few problems. After ordering the food through the online service we were told that the table was actually reserved and we had 40 mins to eat and leave. This is hot garbage of service. Also the end of the spring onion was served on our wings (universally thrown away, pictured) nd the chicken was poorly bled (a sign of cheap cuts, also pictured). We ordered bottled drinks that were not opened and had to return them to get them opened. A perfect example of how managers are not to blame as the menu was good, but the staff were poor.

A really disappointing visit to this Brewdog bar having visited many others across the country. Part of the Brewdog experience is the opportunity to taste test a number of different brews on offer so imagine our disappointment to turn up, having booked first, to be told that all the pumps were off and there was nothing to buy other than a few cans and bottles in a nearby fridge!!! Even though we had pre booked (for the burger offer) no one seemed to either know or care. As we had our dogs with us we decided to stay and have to say that the food was good, but since when do you order burgers and have to also order extra portions of chips????? All in all, as Brewdog fans and customers this was the most disappointing visit and a real let down.

Had a lovely time. The staff were so attentive and accommodating to my allergy requests. Food took a little while to come out but was very yummy.

Will not be returning. The service, whilst polite and friendly, will happily overlook you if waiting at the bar for service in order to serve others and if you do order food, when it comes to the table the order will be wrong. The food itself was at best average. Had to send it back because the order was wrong and when it did get to the table it wasn't even warm. The best I can say is the drinks are good, and the atmosphere was great so this place is better for grabbing a drink or two with friends. Even then there are better places in Oxford, with better quality food and service.

Went in late after a meal out Angus and Chris were great even though close to closing took the time to talk us throw the choices and gave recommendations on our tastes. Went for black Hart and hazy Jane but could leave without a Try of the 11% higher ground. Not convinced it's like drinking port while licking a battery

Visited Sunday, surprisingly really quiet.... considering there's a 50% discount on everything for students on a Sunday. Maybe they just don't know! We were a family of 3, each had a meal and drink. Found it great value. Will definitely return and reccomend it to my student daughter and friends for a Sunday

Beers are nice. Food used to be nice but now it's not up to scratch. Why would you serve old/ refried chips?I paid over 17£ for burger and I expect to be good.

Wing Wednesday has good portion sizes, but food takes ages. Beer is certainly overpriced (this seems consistent for all brewdogs though). Staff very friendly.

Amazing wings , very disappointed they only had the buffalo sauce wings . We were looking forward to a choice especially when we were going for bottomless wings .

Great lager and food, quiet on a Wednesday night. Excellent service; was offered the option to play Scissor, Paper, Stone and win a free dessert. The barman won.

This was the 2nd time I had been to this spot with friends, the first time I didn't order anything because I had already eaten. The second time they fudged the order and how.. I ordered a full salad, it was mistaken for the small one (side dish) which can happen.. I chalked it up to human error paid the extra 8 quid and sent the small one back. They brought me the same salad back in a bigger plate?! This time I was a bit annoyed because the ingredients are on the menu and they weren't on my plate. I kept my cool and I went back again and asked them about it. The manager got involved and took the plate from me after he apologized, which was sweet. This time I was expecting it would be right. Much to my dismay, I got the same exact plate back with 3 tiny slices of sourdough bread in it. The server was nice, apologized again and offered me a complimentary drink, when I asked him to top off my beer he said he could bring me a soft drink. At this point I didn't send my dish back again but just gave up and ate some tomatoes and cheese with dressing on them. I'm sorry but the three slices of toast aren't worth 8 bloody quid. While the servers were ok, the kitchen staff there is clearly lazy.

This place is really good! The food is amazing and decent sized, the beer is always great and so are their cocktails. The price is also good for the quality. Make sure to check out their offers, though, to have an even better experience!

The burgers are incredibly bad value for money. I paid £15+ for a 'Mark Truffalo' chicken burger (without fries - they were an extra £3) and it consisted of a bone-dry bun, two pieces of dry, tasteless chicken, several pieces of thoroughly cremated bacon and approximately 1 teaspoon of a 'smoked cheese sauce'. It is infuriating how they feel they can charge so much money, for such a poor quality product.

If you like great food this is your place. Best burgers in oxford, The buffalo chicken burger, beyond meat burgers and buffalo loaded fries are particularly good and their wings are to die for so don't miss out on their wings Wednesday. Amazing variety of beer and very friendly staff. Always playing good music. Honestly cannot rate this place high enough

A great selection of beer and really good burgers. Always clean and tidy and the staff are helpful. I’ve got to dock a star for asking for tips via the card reader just for standard bar service… please don’t do this.

I'm never really a 1-5 star rater and it's normally just a yey or ney from me, and this place was a yey! We went for the bottomless wings and they were quite tasty. I had the Chicken ones but it would have been nice to try the cauliflower or seitan wings as well. I didn't realise you couldn't go between them so once you decide on which, that's your only choice. Also you don't always have to have the Louisiana hot sauce on them when re-filling, however tasty that is. I guess if you are going with a few people, order a mix and share between yourselves? The drink selection was decent and I liked that they had a selection of sour beers as well! The staff were really friendly and happy to chat 😀.

Attended the Beer School guided tasting, 2pm to 4pm. Had a great host, she took us through 5 beers, you spotted the difference between each, weren't rushed and had a great time. The cheese and biscuits with round 3 were of a high quality and very enjoyable.

Have tried to call the venue on different days and it went to voice mail both times. Once in the venue, bar service was very slow and the toilets were dirty.

We went to Brewdog in Oxford, there were 7 people in our party. We opted for wings Wednesday, the table booking was from 7.15pm to 9.15pm. at about 7.45pm we received 2 portions of wings, which obviously left 5 people in our party without any. My partner went to the bar about 8pm and asked where the other wings were, he was told 'i've already brought 2 portions out' clearly she hadn't seen or computed that we had ordered 7 portions of wings. About an hour after first arriving the rest of the party received their wings. Topping up of wings was extremely slow, and the lady who served us clearly didn't want to be at work and had no people skills whatsoever. Luckily another lady took over our table service who was far more approachable and nice. All in all, we took family members there promising them a fab experience (we had a fab one prev and love Brewdog) however we were very disappointed by the slow, uninterested service.
