My daughter had just had a baby, 2 weeks old, so we thought we would quickly pop for food and drinks to get her out of the house. At 7.40 we were told we had to leave as the baby wasn't allowed after 7pm, bearing in mind the baby was asleep in her pram. Fair enough we thought. We said we're just about to order food. He said you've got to leave. He was very rude, very rude. There were dogs in the pub barking but theywereallowedto stay! I can understand if it was kids running around but a newborn asleep, really. As we were leaving, someone came in with a baby in a pram, we told them what were told. The manager came over to us and told us to stop talking to the people and leave. We told him he was so rude that we don't even want to come back EVER. I guess the place is empty for a reason THE MANAGER has no people skills!

Great food for a reasonable price. Very cozy place, and pretty quiet. I bet it's great during the summer, as their garden is so lovely.

Great venue to watch televised sport. Let down by bar staff free pouring shots without measuring, with the excuse that he knows what he's doing! After asking for the sprit to be measured, he half filled the measure and refused to repour it.

We celebrated a summer birthday in the garden outside area of the pub. The place was relatively empty, but great turnout in light of Covid. Orders ranged from the various burgers - lamb, beef and a vegetarian option; along with servings of wings and fries. The sweet potato fries were nice but lacked salt. Wings were tasty. Burgers were nice. Considering the size of the group, a wait for the food was expected, but not the one we had. The food took forever, with meals staggered to the point that some people finished their meals while others still didn’t get any food.

All in all just solid rather than spectacular. Nothing too imaginative in terms of draught beer and a tiny bit pricy. Staff were friendly enough and they had sport on the telly. Nothing to write home about and plenty of better pubs in the area. Just felt a bit lacking in terms of atmos and beer selection. 3/5.

This is my new local and I LOVE IT! They have 50% off pizzas every Tuesday, 50p wings on Wednesday, delicious food, sports, music, conservatory EVERYTHING. I love it.

Very very bad service and manner from the owner, coffee machine wasn’t working, We asked to put the outside heaters on and we were told okay by the staff, the manager arrived after five minutes with a bad attitude 🤮who said the heater only on during winter time, even though it was a chilly evening. The only customers appear to be the manager and his friends drinking at the bar *(( like sitting in his own living room ))*

Horrible experience. Last time I went it was friendly and pleasant. On Saturday it wasn't. I bought a pint of Neck Oil - first time I have ever had bad Neck Oil, sour and unpleasant. I have never had bad Neck Oil before so they must work at making it bad. Music was so loud it was impossible to talk with bar staff. Asked if I wanted something different, but I didn't so they just walked off. When I suggested money back I just got an unpleasant stare from barman. So we went somewhere nicer. Interestingly walking back past at a couple of hours later a fight burst out and across the road with a dozen angry young men being loud and aggressive, chasing one man across the road to take refuge behind the Sainsbury's Security staff. No-one looked surprised, so I guess that is the kind of clientele they are looking for, so I shall not return In fact it has made me a bit wary of going to Sainsbury's on a Saturday evening. All the trouble could be down to customers and the noise and youth of the clientele down to it being Saturday night when old guys like me should stay in. But not looking after the beer and serving expensive stuff badly is a lot less forgivable for any pub.

Great pub for sport, good selection of drinks. Lovely bowl of chips. Great staff. Worth a look.

Held my baby shower here and we had a great time. The food was fab and AFFORDABLE which is rare these days! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Had a nice, laid back vibe. Highly recommend.

Food is actually spot on, great mid week deals, vegan options. Love the pizzas! Some of the people that work there are unfathomably grumpy. Not sure how the grumpy fella ended up working in hospitality as he manages to create a negative atmosphere at the bar. Probably time he took up another career the poor chap. The pub is otherwise a decent, spacious place to be with lots of seating.

Live music on Saturdays. Good atmosphere and outdoor garden area. They used to have good food, but they have cut the quality to the point we don’t eat there anymore - shame.

Very nice local pub with friendly staff. I had a gorgeous pepperoni pizza which was very nicely cooked. The pub can get very loud but aside from that I think this is one of the better pubs in the area.

There's plenty of space outdoors, almost no non-alcoholic drinks so I can't give it higher. Overall a pleasant experience.

Nice venue, parking not to good . But the atmosphere, food and staff make up. Would definitely recommend a visit .

Lovely spacious pub with an outside area and a covered area outside. Great menu, had some most enjoyable barbecue chicken tacos.

Had a drink there with a friend. Staff was friendly and eager to help their customers out. The pub has interior and exterior areas for their customers to sit in. We sat outside and it was okay!

1st time visiting this pub. Good selection of drinks and the food was excellent. The staff where very polite and helpful. Will definitely come back again.

I had a great experience with the garden shed pub. Called them to arrange a small party in their conservatory at the last minute. Karl and Elliot were super helpful and accommodating, they really looked after us and the customer service is second to none. thanks again!

Friendly staff. Good cloudy cider and IPA (Neck Oil). Nicely spaced out tables and booths. Recommend the nachos. Dogs allowed. Walking distance from the playing fields close by

Just went for a drink, so no experience with food. Garden is lovely and we were served quickly, as it Wasn't very busy on a Wed.

I know pubs have been through a hard time but this pub have taken the mick with their prices. A local pub that shuts at 11 even on Saturdays (?!) In which 2 double vodkas will set you back 18.80... not worth it for me and I live on the same road!

I had a great time celebrating my birthday in the outdoor garden area (which I reserved). The weather was great and even when the temperature dipped the heaters were sufficient to keep about 20+ of us warm until the end of the night. The area looked amazing with the fairy lights, cushions and seating arrangements. Ordering food and drinks couldn't have been easier as the app was simple to use, you do get more of a drinks selection if you order at the bar though. The staff were Amazing and for a Saturday night we did not have to wait long for food and drink orders to arrive. My guests and I played games, held conversations, ate food and enjoyed some background music, it was everything you could need. I highly recommend the wings and chips.
