The nicest thing about The Sail Loft is the view.... We ordered sandwiches as wanted something light, the bread tasted old, the bacon in BLT looked like rubber and tasted pretty much the same, I am still trying to work out how it was cooked! The Guinness was watery and tasted like the pipes hadn't been cleaned.... My partner left over half a pint, this shows how bad it was!! I ordered a vodka with splash of soda, came with nearly half a pint of soda...... Wouldn't recommend unless you have money to waste......

The restaurant has great view and large space. However, they do not seem to have any food that is catering for gluten-free. We went back to it last night. It was amazing that they have given us a big table with nice view. Thank you! The place was clean and dog-friendly. It was shame that the seating was next to the bar area that there were a large group of people next to us at some point that it was so noisy that we could not have a conversation. The service was quite slow and the food came cold. Maybe it was because it was a Saturday night. My partner's steak was cold and he got an upset stomach from it. The menu does not show what is gluten-free. The online menu shows what it is gluten-free, but the menu doea not match with what it is on the menu. We did not want to ask questions as the service was already slow and we did not want them not to come back for a while between questions. The food was good itself and the wine was also good though. Overall, it is the service that letting it down a bit as there is a waitress keeping asking us if she can take the plates away while we were still eating and still foods in the plate in addition to the slow service and cold food.

Great food and the service although excruciatingly slow was very good, friendly and polite. Average sticky toffee pudding was a shame but going at sunset stuck the landing.

We were looking for a place that accepted dogs. We found one! This restaurant is dog friendly, the food was amazing, the staff were really nice. It was quite expensive but you pay for the views of Canary Wharf as well! The restaurant itself was modern, right next to the Thames. Cute little walk after your meal to see the Cutty Sark. Definitely going back again. Recommend for a family meal or work get together.

Decent Fullers pub on the river, just up from the main thoroughfare of Greenwich so less ‘touristy’. Location is great, good selection of ales. This place is a good size, set over two floors along with outside seating. We visited when ‘The David Attenborough’ (Boaty McBoatface)was moored outside, so best seats in the house for that. Not much to complain about!

Went here last Tuesday evening. Enjoyed it so much booked for Sunday lunch, which was even better. I had chicken, my friend the beef. Both excellent, and the location is amazing. That's Tuesday's pan fried cod in the pic!. Edit: if you go on a Sunday, book a table. It's very busy.

Popped in for a roast after a long walk. The pub was warm and cosy. Our meals had generous portions and were good quality. I especially enjoyed the nut roast. Staff were warm and friendly. I would return.

A nice spot for evening dinner. Food on the whole good, generous portions but fish pie was so so. Relaxed atmosphere and service with great views!

I ate here with friends recently. It's a lovely place with great food. Good service too. Picture is of the view from the front of the pub.

Amazing food and vibe as usual. I found the servers to all be lovely but it did take a long time after being seated to be asked for our drinks order or be given a food menu so I had to go to the bar to order. We've never had this issue before, though, so I think it was just rather busy. The food came very quickly though and was all delicious, as was the drinks.

Lovely place overlooking the Thames. If you can sit upstairs the view is beautiful on a clear, bright day. We had a lunch with light starters and sandwiches for mains. The Croque Monsieur was tasty but not as amazing as I'd hoped but the club sandwich was very good. Overall the price was good for Greenwich and the service was superb so would definitely come back to try something else next time.

Excellent food, beautiful ham hock for starters and a Sunday roast for main which was good but could have been better and a tad warmer. Atmosphere is great along with tasteful decor a must eat if you're ever in that part of Greenwich. So far Greenwich has been appalling for food but this restaurant is class. Quality, go visit, they've got live music every other Friday too and quiz night from time to time, great view from the embankment and a bar to top it off so if you're in the mood for drinking you're covered.

Great place! Been here a few times. The staff are great and I’d definitely recommend the Gnocci that’s on the menu at the moment, and a tequila sunrise cocktail!!

Sunday evening was relatively quiet, but lucky that the kitchen remained open until 8pm. Full menu was available too, which was a bonus. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful. When an accidental Guinness was poured for our order, the barman acknowledged his mistake, but kindly offered us the pint at no additional charge - many other Greenwich pubs would have just poured it away. A nice gesture. Would definitely recommend, and on a sunny evening, there's an unrivalled view down the Thames.

Wonderful gastro pub! My son and I visited here on Thursday at 12:30pm for lunch. When we arrived, there was only one other customer so it was very nice and quiet (some more people came later on). Good location by the river, nice and cozy decor, family friendly (a children's menu is available). I liked the background music too. It was relaxing but not underwhelming so was just right. All foods and drinks are fairly priced. I ordered a non-alcoholic mojito, a soup of the day and fish finger sandwiches with chips. All of them came quite quickly and OMG, the mojito was the best one I've ever had in London and also, the soup was the best one I've even had in my whole life! No kidding, it was delicious! Of course, the fish finger sandwiches were very tasty as well 🙂 We received great customer service, too. Both the waiting staff and chefs are nice & friendly (but not over the top). I believe the lady served our table is Alya, such a lovely lady, friendly, polite and very attentive. She always came at the right time for ordering and getting out bill. So yes, her service was excellent! Huge credit to her and the chefs for making our experience fantastic! Thank you, we can't wait to come back again 😊

Lovely location and view of the river, venue is nice for a sunday family meal. Food shortage such as no cauliflower cheese was a bit of a let down, especially after the staff said they would give extra potatoes to compensate but they didnt follow it through. Hardly any gravy and had to keep asking for more gravy which they only gave a small amount. Service was slow, understandably it was Father’s day but it actually wasnt busy when we had our reservation (5pm). Disappointed with the portion size. Roast beef was more of a beef steak. Pork roast was dry. Duck liver paté was a very nice starter. Dessert was nice too. Would like to go back again in the hopes it was a one off today. Staff were helpful and accommodated our needs eapecially as we had a child with severe allergies.

We had a small event upstairs and I have to say it could not have gone better. The restaurant team were super friendly and obliging with my requests. The location and view is stunning. The agreed timings for food was spot-on. We had the events menu with options of finger buffet and sliders. People commented how lovely the food was, all labelled with allergen details. My friends and family were very impressed. Thank you Sail Loft. You have all made an emotionally challenging day enjoyable with your service and efficiency.

Food was filling and tasty. The service was good as well. Would definitely go back and the location is brilliant as it is near the river.

Cool place for a drink and some food. This would be an excellent place for a cold beer after work or other happy hour drinks. We sat at a table looking over the River. There are seats upstairs with gorgeous views. You can order in person or through scanning a QR code. Food was decent— obviously not the winningest point of the restaurant, which I think are the views and drinks.

Been going here regularly for years and years. It's a lovely space, with incredible food, beautiful scenes over the river and the London skyline, and of course a decent selection of drinks. The ambiance is superb, relaxing and stylish, and even when it's busy there is never a sense of crowding. The staff are excellent too, very friendly and always happy to engage with people. The beer selection does feel limited, but it's by no means a bad offering

Lovely interior design and friendly staff, however, was a bit disappointed with the portions delivered to our table for the price we paid. Toilets clean. Overall enjoyed our experience.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time. Good menu, Pimms and lemonade filled with fruit, staff were really helpful. A seat overlooking the river is best but the atmosphere is good in most seats. Book ahead for inside loft seating even if its just for 2 or 3.

For a London based Riverside pub in Greenwich this place surprised me. I was expecting a fairly poor Sunday lunch in terms of food but was pleasantly surprised. My burger tasted fantastic and I eat a lot of burgers, the only let down being the minimal amount of chips. My partner had the Chicken Roast and looked superb too with a giant Yorkshire pud to boot. A couple of cocktails later and we were ready for a stroll down to the Thames Barrier. Strongly recommend and cater for allergies too!

Great dinning area for n the second floor with a nice view of the river. The food was very good too. I do recommend the risotto - very tasty and filling.

This pub is definitely a six star. A relatively recent build in 2016 it offers a tasteful and homely atmosphere. Very good service from the rectangular island bar. The layout is modern with generous glazing at the front offering good views over the Thames. An added bonus was that board games were freely available. I taught my teenage daughter to play battleships. I did it too well as the little horror beat me. An excellent pint of pride too.
