Had a great stay at the The Bull’s Head. We used their Ballroom for a private event and then stayed in one of their rooms for a night. The bar staff are friendly with a well stocked bar. Great options on Beers and Wines as well as the usual others. The catered food was also great and served by very polite staff. The rooms were comfortable and we were able to fit 2x kids in with us. The room has a great selection of teas, nespresso and hot chocolate and even provide oat milk sachets! The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was served in their tea rooms and a continental breakfast selection is laid out on the side. Lots of fresh options such as fruit salad and croissants laid out and then all cooked food looked and tasted great.

Recently stayed here for a family wedding and cannot recommend the hotel enough! The rooms are great - modern, comfy bed, good shower in the bathroom. They are clean and well maintained by household staff daily - towels changed and bed made every morning while we were at breakfast. Breakfast was great - huge selection on the cooked breakfast menu, batista made coffee while you wait and a cold buffet table of breakfast options available too. The outdoor beer garden is lovely, but there are two indoor pubs/bars too. All of the staff are friendly, professional, efficient and more than happy to help when/where they can. Cannot recommend enough!

Came here for Sunday lunch. The roast beef was exceptionally good and good size portion and really tasty. It did take half an hour for the food to arrive, but it was worth the wait.

Updated for April 2022. Had lunch there. The menu has been refreshed and the food is even more fabulous. Restaurant quality but huge portions. Staff are so lovely. Our waitress was Amy B. It was really busy inside and out. Go for Sunday roast but book well ahead. The roasts here are around 15-20 quid and worth every penny. Staff are very attentive. Even when it's busy you never wait long.

The Bulls Head restaurant is a lovely place to eat. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly, the food is consistently delicious. I have no hesitation in recommending the Bulls head as somewhere to dine or for a drink in the bar.

Our room had a faulty tv. We were upgraded to a boutique room no extra charge, thanks to Carol. Great view of the back garden. Clean, comfy bed, great mini bar. Pub downstairs is great, lively with interesting mix of characters.

If you are expecting a nice quiet meal chatting to friends, don’t go on a Saturday evening if tonight is anything to go by. Super loud, kids running about, the noise was really overwhelming. Shame as it’s a nice place. Food however seemed expensive, a chicken and bacon salad was £19.50. One of us had a chicken supreme at £23 and it was never worth £23 the size of it. (Photo attached, a chicken leg at best). Haddock was huge though and the food was fine. Wouldn’t be in a rush to go back though because of the noise. We could just have picked an off day though, but we really did keep having to speak close to each other and repeat ourselves because of the noise. No I’m not old and in my 70s and deaf either 🤪

Just had the most mind-blowing roast dinner at The Bulls Head in Chislehurst – I'm not exaggerating, it's hands down the best in the entire UK! The flavors were like a taste explosion, and the staff Luke especially made the whole experience feel like a warm, welcoming feast. Seriously, if you're into roast dinners, this place is a game-changer. Already planning my next indulgence!

Went with friends for lunch, originally booked in restaurant but decided to eat in bar area as quieter. Not as comfortable but adequate. You have to order at bar, which we were not told about but no big deal. Good food, nice atmosphere and everything reasonably priced. Large car park so easy to park.

We used The Bull’s Head for a wake following my father’s funeral in November . We had approx 30 guests for food and drinks. Quiet room to ourselves. Food was really good. Bar staff excellent. Everything was very well organised and exactly as we had hoped. Would highly recommend. Very pleased. Thank you.

We stayed here for one night in November. Our room was nice enough but we really enjoy the cosy outside area in the evenings! So nice to sit and have a drink and relax. The food is supposed to be very good too. Have also attended a wedding here previously which was great. Beds were very comfortable, and staff very friendly.

I often have a coffee there when I visit the shops. Staff are happy to serve you and friendly. Atmosphere at the Inn is brilliant and the outside area is very well thought out

Lovely pub, restaurant with nice choice of beers and wine. Nice variation in the menu. Love the different areas you can go to spend time with family or friends. Quite a huge beer garden with so many different sections and cabin style seating areas with their own TV to watch sports on. There was a wedding going on when we were there. Managed to see the Brides maids but not the Bride sadly. Been here a few times and already booked to come back again. Might even stay in one of the rooms next time. Staff were wonderful and service was excellent with smiles.

Having stayed before, I was disappointed with the cooked breakfast this morning. The sausage, black pudding and mushrooms all tasted as if they had been 'baked'. Accommodation was very good, as we're the room facilities and cleanliness. Just let down by breakfast.

My room was in a high traffic area with people moving around outside my room through the night. I'm a light sleeper in hotels. Despite being by a road at night it was quiet, but commuting started around 5am. I also had a couple next door that returned late and decided to have a domestic about 4am. All in all I did not sleep well. However it was a cosy pub, nice room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast etc.

For as lovely the venue appears to be and how friendly the door staff were, I have to give this location 1 star for the fact they failed to do the most fundamental function of any business - take my money! After a disastrous day of public transport with the train strikes I found myself uncharacteristically in Chislehurst. I felt like a drink after my long day but I was refused for being 23 years old. It’s 25+ Friday and Saturday. It’s your business. You do you. I’m currently enjoying a pint at the Oak down the road though who were warm and happy to serve me. Perhaps I’ll appreciate a 25+ policy with hindsight but it certainly seemed ageist today.

Only visited the restaurant which was unfortunately not good at all. The ox check croquettes (the size of a small ping pong ball) are the most bland croquettes I have ever eaten, the only reason I eat them all was because they where stupid expensive. The spicy burger wasn't spicy, it was tough and drowned in cocktail sauce. My friends calf liver looked totally unappealing, and my wife and kids burgers where tough aswell. Or as my daughter described it "inedible" The wine was excellent on the other hand and there was a good selection of beer. Lovely service. The desert was quite ok and the espresso was good. Will come again, but not for the food

Beautiful place. Lovely food. Some say a bit pricey but it gets a 5 ⭐️

Rude staff in outside area (young boy) had 0 interest when asked what gins are on offer. Overpriced sides £6 for a small bowl of chips is unacceptable. The fireplaces also were not on as 'haven't ordered gas canisters' on a bank holiday weekend. Conflicting age restrictions and ID policy as doorman allowed entry to under 25 but refused to purchase a soft bar from the bar and was turned away. Bit overpriced but overall nice vibe outside.

Second time I've visited this is pub, just popped in after a ride and walk. Haven't eaten so can't comment on the food but it looked pretty good what I seen. Garden has had a big make over since my last visit and has become a little themed with booths and pods also tables with a central fire feature which seems to be aimed at the younger crowd of which there was plenty. The more mixed age range but mainly older folks were spread throughout the many indoors rooms. Shiny polished pub not for me. not a craft beer to be found which is disappointing, and beavertown is not craft beer since it sold out to big brewery and lost most of the hops that went into the original brew.

Didnt stay at the hotel just the pub for drinks. Lovely decore & good wine selection but was disappointed as we had booked an outdoor table with a firepit only to get there and be told that it's run out of gas! Kind of ruined the night there wasn't anything else for a table of 8.

Came here for a wedding function and the venue was really nice and the food was good. The room was pricey but that could have been because of the wedding part of it as we paid £139 for a room. Good sized room but the air con unit was broken, they brought us a fan..... that didn't work! I initially though it was a nice touch as there was a small basket filled with snacks, crisps, nuts, sweets etc. I though maybe that's what you get when you pay a bit more for a room until I saw the price list! £2.30 for a tiny pot of pringles and £5 for a bag of honeycomb 😱

Me and my partner went for dinner to celebrate his birthday. The food was amazing. We ordered our food and within minutes it was on our table! We had a lovely waitress who made sure everything was fine with our meal ect. After the dinner we had a lovely surprise pudding with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate with a brownie on the side. Overall we would really recommend having dinner here and we will definitely be coming back to try the lunch menu as well! Thank you for making it special.

Very nice hotel. Rooms clean, bed comfortable and good heating. I stayed on a Saturday night and couldn't believe how busy the place was with all bars and restaurants full, and large party in the ballroom. Great atmosphere. The food was good and the staff were polite and accommodating. I gave 5 stars. One improvement would be to have a stronger wifi that reached and covered each restaurant and bar. However, well done. I enjoyed my stay. Thankyou.

Well run, friendly staff. Refuses to take cash which was really embarrassing for a couple that purchased drinks and didn't have any cards for payment. Not sure that is legal in the UK as cash is legal tender!? The food was very good.

Ate out of doors in garden on a chilly day. Location and pods lovely. Food was generally very good, if a little on the expensive side for a pub garden. 4 fish and chips ordered two were excellent, two we're OK but created impression of having been "bought in". Childrens meals were excellent, the adult gnocchi was good but recipient thought portion was very small.

We used to love coming to the Bull. It was our regular place for a roast on a Sunday. Unfortunately rude door staff who wouldn’t let us sit down to take our muddy boots off have changed that feeling. Disappointingly noone from the Bull rang me back to discuss that yesterday. I gave them a day to talk before I posted. So “older” walkers are no longer welcome it appears in the adult bar.. such a shame. I wanted to see if we brought our own plastic boot covers would we be allowed in? Our dog and is still had some mud on us.

Had a hut outside for lunch and drinks. Very nice food and great staff, very helpful. And heating in the hut! My friend whose birthday really enjoyed it and we all had a great time.

Really nice pub / hotel with a great outdoors area and lovely cosy bar inside. Food is nice and staff are friendly and efficient. Little bit pricey but fairly standard for Chislehurst. One of our favourite pubs in the area and definitely well worth a visit!

Hired for my brothers wedding. The staff were amazing, the venue was perfect, couldn’t have been any better look after! Even honoured a early check in request so we could get our 7month old ready. Couldn’t rate highly enough! Thank you guys for making my brother wedding day perfect!!

Came here for Sunday lunch and was so pleased! TWO vegan options for main and pudding, which is unheard of. The veggie wellington was delicious, and perfect size. I had the Eton mess for pudding (a vegan Eton mess!!!) which was really big, so I’m glad I shared it. I left feeling very satisfied and not stuffed, which is great. And the service was great, super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel that I visited for my uncle's wedding. The room was one of the best I've stayed in! Staff were unprofessional during breakfast, talking about colleagues in earshot of guests.

A group of 5 of us had dinner here on Thursday evening and it was great. It’s a big place with a relaxed bar, a more cosy bar and a big airy restaurant. We had five different meals from the restaurant menu, including 2 different vegan options and they were all really good. It’s not cheap but portions were good. Puddings were large too. We were served by two people who were both really friendly and helpful. They also heard us mention it was a birthday dinner and they brought out a brownie with a candle which was a lovely touch. Will definitely return.

Went to the restaurant for a meal. Very lively ambience, service was great. Good choices even for vegan/vegetarian. Was a little disappointed with Sunday Roast as there were only roast vegetables with Yorkshire pudding, no vegan meat! But all the other dishes were good. Cool.place to chill with friends and family.

We went for a family meal at the weekend. Service was warm and friendly without being overbearing, and the staff were great with our 3-year-old. The food was fantastic, we were all agreed it was one of the best pub roasts we’ve had, and we even got a clean plate from the little one which hardly ever happens! Looking forward to our next visit.

We visited today with a pre-arranged appointment with the wedding planner, had a good meeting, very excited and ready to place our deposit for our wedding in 2024 only to then be given a bombshell...on their website and in a telephone discussion, they advertise a minimum spend for weddings of £4,000 which we were happy with...only they have now decided to change this today to £10,000!!! 150% increase...totally devastated as it suited our choice of hosting a small wedding in a small but comfortable venue. Really cannot understand how there can be such a massive increase....I left there in tears having been shown around and allowed to feel excited thinking we had found a great size place for our special day

Wanted to take my girlfriend somewhere nice for a date got recommended here by a colleague, it did not disappoint! We had the afternoon tea and stayed for some drinks after. Very friendly staff and the garden looked stunning in the evening

Lovely food. Great service. Recommended, but it would be nice if they didn't allow full blown mobile phone conversations in the pub, causing people to move and disturbing others having a quiet lunch. Thai fish cake with curry sauce and chocolate cake with clotted cream was delicious.

Best ever experience I ever had in a hotel, in London or overseas. * staff were brilliant and very attentive, can not knock it and I’m a chef. * food again 10/10 for presentation and taste. * car park * I will be back sooner than later, I would love to become a president stayer in the hotel. Keep up the good work. Kind regards Chef AC Anthony
