KFC is easily accessible from the street and it is situated in a centre where there are various other stores, and restaurants such as Checkers, Wimpy, Pizza Hut, etc. The place also has Clicks, Vodacom and Liquor Shop The centre also has dedicated security guards.

Advertising ice cream at drive thru, No Ice cream at squawker box, have to stay in dribe thru que. Put up a sign before entering drive thru, stating NO IcE CREAM

Idea of kiosk order and payment to speed things up is great - but they have no clue how to implement. Ordered milkshakes and waited 30min to find out they don't have part of the order or the required cups - had to change order bur no refund. Not even touching on thr rude service....

I ordered a 15piece which was disappointing but I'm happy to say kfc manager phoned me and rectified the problem and resolved the issue. Appreciate the Great customer service I will definitely go back to kfc York in future.

The lady who was on the till yesterday between 3-4pm was very rude.i understand it was busy and they wer under pressure but that doesnt mean you respond rudely to customers...i asked if i could have ice cream while waiting for my order and the reply was "thers no ice cream"the aggression in her voice left me dump founded...at least just say sorry the ice cream is finished or the ice cream machine is not working...however Kentucky is still kentucky the meat is amazing!!

Ordered through Mr D. The order was missing items. They didn't want to deliver it. MR D eventually had to give us a refund. They dont have a manager or supervisor on site. Which is shocking. That is why we rather support Courtney street. This is not the first time we got bad service from Yorkstreet KFC

Just disappointing that they did not have vegetarian burgers like we found in Centurion. In fact no KFC in George caters for this market. Would be nice if they could consider it. The one in Centurion provided a tasty veggie burger. Hope they can bring the standard across soon and market the option.

Very disappointed, we ordered 2 crunch burgers, 24 zinger wings and 2 gravies and 1 mash and gravy. The crunch burgers were absolutely dry wasn't enjoyable and we didn't even receive our 2 gravies that we asked for. We were so disappointed last night!

I'm really sick and Tired of KFC not doing anything about the absolute poor service. This is becoming a norm of no Service delivery at all. The staff talk back with the client they give attitude. It was what you expect from a KFC. It is situated in a large supermarket parking lot so plenty of parking. There are disabled parking and everything is wheelchair accessible. There is also a drive thru for pick up. Also can order on KFC app to jump the queue. There is a sit down area for those who want to eat inside. KFC food is average take away food. The service I received was polite and fast but it was fairly empty when I got there. Also can order from Uber eats and Mr D for home delivery within George. Toilets are available inside with one disabled toilet.

worst drive through experience ever. Cashier doesn’t have any knowledge of the menu and took her 20 minutes to understand our order (in english), when we wanted to collect our order everything was wrong. Seems like the staff is not properly trained and would I not recommend this KFC.

Advertise as 24 hours, but only the drive thru works. Almost nothing in stock. Card machine doesnt work and rude staff. Poor poor service. Never again!

Editing review 2 years later... Its not bad, its not great, sometimes it quick, sometimes you wait, never really fast never really late, but I never regret what I ate (Also they forget spice salt a lot :( )

The coleslaw was dry without any mayonnaise. The chips was cold dry. A family treat with 5 chicken wings very small. Love kfc but we are a little disappointed 😞

Pathetic service. Drove from the other side of town after ordering and paying online. Food was not nearly ready. After several minutes my order was deleted from the screen completely. After I could see that all my food was ready they refused to give it to me because it was removed from the screen. Then I had to repeat everything ordered to get my food. Absolutely pathetic.

Absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed. Bought a 10 piece family treat... Opened the box and only received 5 pieces... We used hard earned money to spoil ourselves, and then get rewarded with half of the meal missing? Pathetic.

I go there very often and find a well organized team. Always friendly and helpfull. Compliments to management(or rather team leaders) for driving a constant happy friendly team.

We ordered a 9 piece special chicken piece’s and explicitly requested no wings. At the pickup point we checked again with the staff and it was confirmed no wings included. When we opened the bucket at home: guess what! Four wings, two thighs and three tiny chest pieces. Not even a drumstick! Is this what KFC mean when it is a special? Is this the stage when they can off load all the small and not wanted pieces and call it a special?

The food is never good. The staff are helpful and friendly but the food is absolutely unacceptable. Sometimes it's too oily, sometimes not enough crisp and other times there's a burnt taste on the chicken. Don't recommend

I ordered box master meal the chips was very bad it was old and cold. The fillet of the wrap was crunchy and hard to chew. I paid R77 what a waste of my hard earned money.

Best service re zero wait time. Paid at window. Drove 10 meters collected immediately. Quality and quantity of meal was excellent. If I lived in George I would eat there every day.

So since I complained to the manager 2 years ago, nothing has changed. Today they don't have any coldrink, except if you pay almost R30 extra, they can give you a bottle, but only coke zero. And this is 11 am, before lunch rush. Then they gave me R20 change in 50c...... I do not recommend this place.

I am truly impressed with their fast and friendly service. Despite the fact that they were extremely busy when I walked in to order, I waited, no longer than 10 minutes for my order for 7 people.

I come here every week and all i get is poor service everytime...wanted to buy through the drive through amd was told to come in as system was not functioning...a car came after us while i was waiting for my meat inside and i was saw a car being helped but i was told its not working. The manager Kevin is very rude...he does not have management etiquette...i think u should send him back to training. For him to tell the teller in front of the customer that he cannot sell milkshakes as he has to clean the machine. I always choose this kfc coz its closer tomy workplace and meat is very delicious.. The service will make me not come here and will also not recommend thiz kfc to anyone.

Quickest service, friendly service but everytime me and my family wants ice cream they're machine is not working,but other than that has always been happy with the food and place in general.

The chicken was a bit dry and not as moiste as to what I am accustomed to, the chips was burned/overcooked, the overall food experience was meh. The service is friendly, and the wait time is relatively low.

My second encounter with this KFC- absolutely tasteless. The suppose "supervisor" need urgent training. The way the food was present made me lose my appetite. If that wasn't enought the entire-kitchen staff was at the counter- at once stage talking so loud thought I was at a bar for a second. Whiles the more then 10 customers await their orders. Absolutely disgusting- recommend avoid that KFC. Disgusting.

My All Star Box meal just had one wing! They forgot the rest?? Chips cold and soggy and the Chicken after the order was fixed was cold as well. Tables and chairs sticky and dirty. No AC, to hot inside to be comfortable. Staff noisy and joking around, seems like they are just quiet and unresponsive when they have to talk to a client. Very poor and disappointing, used to be good.

When I entered KFC a man welcomed me. I felt welcomed. Best KFC so far. Place was so neat!
