We stopped in at Fig Tree Bakehouse and Pause Coffee on our visit to Timberlake Village. Timberlake Village in general is very family oriented and kid friendly. Fig Tree Bakehouse is a fantastic option for breakfast (and anything really). All of their breads are fantastic, the house made lemon date was delicious and their staff are accommodating and welcoming. Pause is one of the best stops on the Garden Route for coffee, they also have a selection of baked goods on offer and their own seating. The barista is also well trained and will answer any coffee related questions. Timberlake Village is definitely worth a stop on your garden route journey!

Nice medium-size village market . It is a nice stop between Wilderness Sedgefield. Many resturants. Good coffee shop with fresh roasted coffee. Many arts shops. Many local South-African craft and gift shops. It is good to support the locals when buying from this market. Very good childern playground. Lovely enviroment. Not crowded. Plenty of car parking. Good place for family (with kids) to sit, eat, relax, and enjoy the enviornment for a few hours.

Absolutely lovely spot. The shops are different from then usual market-type shops. Each shop has a boutique feel about it, so it really is a treat to go. It has a lovely play area with jungle gyms, zip lines, swings, and trampolines. Lovely fountains and ponds. Serene feeling about it. Great if you have kids :)

I expected more of 'Timberlake Village', so I was a little disappointed overall. The restaurant (PAUSE) needs a sign board. Breakfast was great, service good. The play area needs abit TLC.

I love visiting Timberlake whenever I'm in Wilderness! Lovely stores and such a relaxing atmosphere. The burgers at Pause are huuuuge.

A unique selection of shops and eateries hidden next to the highway. Perfect for finding an art treasure or two, and complete with a fairy shop and kids' play area. I enjoyed an indulgent slice of chocolate cheesecake (sitting under the trees) at Pause... and the most delicious cheese-oozing sausage-on-a-bun at the German Deli. Well worth a holiday visit.

Spent a nice Saturday morning, browsing. Quaint little cabins. I loved the fairy shop with nice stones and crystals. Bought a piece of black tourmaline there. Not badly priced. Oh, and I bought a bottle of wine and a liqueur from the wine cabin, simply because the gentleman there was so kind and knowledgeable. Overall a pleasant experience

There is a few different spots you can choose to eat from - all with yummy menus. The coffee is almost the best in town, and I guarantee you will be back again! The kids love the beautiful gardens and the play equipment while adults can enjoy a chat over a coffee or a beer. Great happy staff which creates smiles all around. There is some crazy wild vervet monkeys who randomly appear and try steal your sugar.. cute really 🐒

The food at Pause is to die for!! Kids loved the whole village. Fairy shop is a must. Take care with the kids zip line. Mine walked away seriously battered (my lacking adult supervision in stopping them at the bottom of the zip line might have something to do with it).

It's always a great place to take the kids. Fun play area with restaurants, coffee shops, and novelty stores. Timberlake is tranquil with a very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend.

A favourite for our family every year. Something for everyone. From kids acrobranching to nice koffeeshop to nice little unique shops to having a beer.

Lovely outing for the family. Acrobranch is a real highlight. Different levels of difficulty ranging from basic to advanced, and really impressed by the staff. Very friendly, helpful, well trained and very patient! They also run a great family package. The Naughty Monkey Cafe is a must stop as well. Great coffee, great food, great service!

We love Timberlake village. There are some great shops and wonderful restaurants. This is not your typical commercial shopping but rather artisanal, small local businesses. The vibe is relaxed and you are in a beautiful setting. There is a playground for the kids.

👍 Hartenbos has made some really good changes. Love the new look. I only have one complaint and it is about the lack of parking and small parking spaces.
