Me and my wife visit Smitswinkel after many months and we eat the Thursdays special 500 gram Spare ribs very tender and good the best ribs I have eaten in a long time what a great experience.We can Recommend it.

Very interesting place as you will see from the photos. We had decided that because we don't know when we will get to Oudtshoorn again we'll find some place interesting to eat at. De Smitswinkel did not disappoint. We found an establishment with staff eager to help. The munchies were fantastic. We could not even finish our baskets. Ribs, calamari, chicken wings they were all there. Dining amongst old vehicles, motor bikes and bicycles is something to experience. Lovely place guys. You probably don't remember us but we had a great time. Maybe the double brandies and water will jolt your memory.

Taking you on a trip down memory lane. People who likes old MTB bikes, will experience it as a treasure. A big play area will keep the toddlers busy. We stopped there for a cold drink only.

We did not eat here, but what an interesting place with a huge collection of bikes. Also, old planes, cars and an army jeep. Lots of entertainment for kids, a pad pad track, and accommodation. This place has a huge intertainment area, I assume, a nice place for a birthday or anniversary and to stay over. Very interesting...

Fantastic setting, sit inside or outside, sun or shade or a bit of both. Plenty of place to sit, just make sure you get attention from the reception before plonking down somewhere. Coffee is outstanding. Lots of old scooters and motorbikes to see, bird atriums keep the natural feeling while nice music in the background. Only suggestion is that Service can be improved on, but if you are not in a big hurry, this won't be a problem.

Great place to take the kids. Cozy fireplace in winter. Outside at the play area not so cozy but the kids love it. Chickens, bunnies and birds. Putt putt and huge play area. Dont sell cake, pancake or flapjacks but have a good range on the menu. Prices med to high. Kiddies meals over R70 ea.

Please do yourself a favour and visit Smitswinkel! So amazing! Their burgers and milkshakes are to die for! They also sell nice gifts and little items for your home

The shop stocked up with souvenirs and great presents make you go back every time you enter town. Food was well prepared.

What an amazingly intersting venue to stop at and browse around. Can highly recommend as a must do stop over when visiting or passing through. Only had drinks but saw some food being served and hopefully it tasted as good as it looked.

Wow wow wow! Amazing collection of cars and bikes and all things for my boys to drool over. So glad we stopped here - photographers heaven! Lovely play area for the kids - plenty of space and the food was great too! Will definitely be back!!

Very good service. Food was delicious and we did not have to wait long for it. The venue is child friendly and appears to be a save venue to let your children play while you eat. We could also see that there is accommodation available close to the venue.

Its very peaceful there,kids will enjoy to play there,but the place is big and busy, but the waiters are few. Dont go there hungry, you wait long for your food. It is delicious though

This is a jewel of a place. There is so much to see. I'm planning on having a Sunday lunch. Food looked fantastastic.

We didn't expect this in Oudtshoorn, We loved the experience... all those "things" wherever you look there is something interesting :) The shop great! - the food... GREAT! And just walking around is an experience by itself :)!

We had such a great experience at the diner! Excellent service! Excellent food! Excellent prices! I ate the Smoked Chicken creamy pasta. It was soooo good and I was so sad that I couldn't finish everything because the plate was super big!! My partner had the double Hawaiian Chicken Burger. We had a lovely room with 4 single beds. A nice spacious bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. There is a kettle and a mini fridge.

A awesome experience with the most amazing memorabilia displays. A true bikers must see.
