Had yo ask the staff for menus twice, had to flag down 3 different waiters and manager for orders. All this while racing against time waiting for a flight. Did not receive food i ordered and there was no sauce on the burger.

Great viewing point for airplanes on the tarmac. Staff and Shandre was very friendly and helpful with food and drinks. The chicken wings Peri Peri was amazing and I would really recommend them to anyone hungry. Better than other places I had before. Do yourself a favour and come a bit earlier to pickup or drop of people and make a visit to the Wimpy. Free Wi-Fi Thank you

Given that this Wimpy is situated inside an airport, you would expect the team to understand the time pressures of flying. Not here. This team has all the time in the world, and no control over their tables. I had to go to the kitchen serving area to look for assistance, and even then had to wait to find around for a few minutes to get assisted.

Would like to thank Veronique for her excellent service. Always friendly and has a very sparkling personality. Keep up the good work...

DIRTY!!! Who wants to eat the food here when it isn't kept clean, sauces all over the tables, actual rubbish on the floor!!! And only 4 plugs available to the public, 3 of which actually work... Shocking for an airport...

Very frustrating. Arrived and the doors are still closed. No greetings for any of the customers. Staff sullen and to busy on their phones to have cleaned the store for morning trade, looks like a huge party happened here overnight. Manager not to interested in any complaints. Last time we visit here.

Not impressed with the service at all. It took close to 40 minutes for me to get a coffee. We ordered tea and weren't given sugar or milk. It was slammed down in front of us. We had to ask for sugar and the milk never came even after asking for it twice. We wanted to eat but there wouldn't have been time to wait for our food if a simple coffee took 40 minutes. We got to the airport nice an early so we could come to Wimpy but only found disappointment.

This was a very bad experience! Sat for 20 mint before someone came up to us for menu’s, after we ordered drinks no one came back to us. Besides the beautiful view, the service was very bad and disappointing, it was not even that bust !

Received great service, we ordered two veggie burgers, they were very nice, the food came out very fast too!

Ordered a white chocolate berry shake, restaurant half empty and waited 30minutes. I feel this is to slow for an airport restaurant. Milk shake was good though.

Veronique, Zikhona and their team at George Airport were very friendly and helpful. They helped me to a cozy seat, served cold drinks and warm meals. The environment made for a good working space as I awaited my flight. I highly recommend this spot for when you are flying in and out of George.

Was seated and waited for 20 minutes with absolutely no further acknowledgement that I was even there. All the staff having a chat in the kitchen. So I left. I know you’re the only eatery in the airport, but there’s no need to have such abhorrent service. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I was given a warm afrikaans welcome from Diana which is one of the waitresses. The speed in which these guys function is truly unbelievable. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you’re looking for a quick bite.

Wimpy is a Wimpy, so the food is what it is. Seeing as it is the only place to really something at this increasingly busy airport, you have to take what you can. And the servers is so busy, but doing their best. However, I was here 2 weeks ago and rhe aircons didn't work. I'm here right now and it is either still not working or just not working. I feel that is a very unprofessional.

Wimpy George Airport is very welcoming, all the staff are friendly and greets you with a smile. I received excellent service from Andezelle today, she treats you like you are her only customer. The service was instant from the minute I walked in the door. I was very surprised to find they have a smoking area, which was great while I waited on my next flight. Had a really bad experience. Waited long for the food when it was served it was cold, asked for a burger without sauce got a burger WITH sauce. Asked for black tea got tea with milk. Got the impression that the person serving us didn’t give a care, was there not out of choice or was tired and fed up. Whatever the reason it was all a total heap of disappointment. Rating is 0/100

I always found it funny seeing how many plates of food are left standing, barely eaten, but I now realise that it is because a lot of times the food takes so long to come out, people sometimes go there to eat something before their flight, not realising how long the food actually is going to take. Exept for waiting too long sometimes, the food tastes great with friendly waiters and waitresses.

No staff member or management even tries to assist, take your order or in sight to assist. Have to get up after 20min to go and ask for assistance. Worst ever Wimpy I have been to. Never ever experienced such lack of interest or ignorance of staff at any Wimpy throughout all my travels. Wimpy SA seriously have to look at franchises like this... not good for their record at all. Definitely, not the norm but need to be addressed.... Wimpy will not see me nor my family again...

Food was really terrible. Dry piece of chicken. Hamburger patty hard and dry. Old hamburger bun. Cheese burger overpowering vinegar taste. Chips were cold. Children never received their toys. Wimpy should be ashamed of this franchise in such an important location. Service was bad. Stick to coffee. Oh and the air conditioning did not work.

I’m American, so this was my first time in a Wimpy. I couldn’t understand their English and they couldn’t understand mine. We figured it out and they helped me make sense of the menu. Wonderful staff, they are good people. Food was good too.

Very busy at George Airport restaurant when we visited, but the staff were still all friendly and helpful. The meals were good value for money and the grandkids enjoyed their chicken strips and chips ☺️

Service can sometimes be slow but the food has always been on standard. It's nice to sit close to the windows and watch planes land/take off.

Very dirty we found sauce that had mould inside of the menu pages. The aircons doesn't work and there are now windows to open. After complaining to the manager she had a bad attitude about the complaint.

No lifts... so you are forced to carry your luggage up the stairs to the first floor. Poor service. A plate of chips take 35min. If you are in a rush... try elsewhere.

Shandre's service was very Good. She was very friendly. Kept our table clean We asked 3 waitresses to help us but they did not help. Shandre was only one that helped immediately.

Terrible service. Absolutely RUDE manager. Waited 30 minutes at the table not a single waiter came to assist. After 40 minutes and going to the front twice to ask for waiters we left. It also smells terrible and the hygiene is not up to standard. A previous time we ordered orange juice and the glass still had lipstick on the rim.
