Well done Brinkley's! Well done! The Village looks so much better with all the changes. Rooms look so much better now. I love the new Beer Craft house, the wine tasting and the new look of the place.

Under new ownership! Opened 16 December 2022 and this will definitely be the place I choose to stay and visit! They have Glenhoff Craft Beers, Brothers Coffee Roastery, Cocktails, Wines and the venue is just beautiful!

A huge congrats to the new team at Brinkleys for taking on the mammoth task of renovating the property. Not only has it added something really special the Kleinbrak - Mosselbay area, it has brought so many locals that once were frequent visitors back in the day. Great to see the community come together. We’re looking forward to seeing more once renovations are complete.

Brinkleys River Village is truely the best pet friendly accommodation we could find. Rooms are big enough to take 3 large doggy beds and you have a back door to let the dogs out at night. The river kept the dogs busy for hours. Thank you for the small detail like putting up the mosquito net. Is was greatly appreciated. We will return soon.

After being warmly welcomed, I was taken to a lovely cozy room that had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location of this establishment is convenient as it is close to Mosselbay, George, Hartenbos and other areas. The crisp white linen and fluffy towels added to a luxurious feel. I had the option of choosing a room with a shower or a bath and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Being close to a beautiful river, the view is magical and I appreciated that there was two doors in the room - allowing me to access different sides and enjoy different sceneries. Furthermore, the is establishment is currently being renovated and I am excited to see the end result. I have to mention that even with the renovations taking place, I was not bothered or uncomfortable. The feeling of tranquility accommodated my stay and the renovations team is doing an amazing job.

A very friendly well kept place. Very clean, and extremely helpful friendly staff. We have not stayed in the accommodation, but have used the bar and reception.

Do not recommend! When we ordered the rooms (two double rooms) they failed to tell us that there were no shower in any if the rooms, only a bathtube with two faucets. We tried to change, but they had no rooms with showers. Large cockroach ran across the floor at nighttime (we caught and killed it and showed the staff). No cold water, only warm water from either faucet, even if you let it run for a long time. The water that came out was dirty. No mirror in the bathroom. No available outlets to charge your phone or computer. No AC and no safe way to have a window open at night. No security on the premises. Staff gave wrong information about where we could hang out in the evening (it was closed when we got there at 21.15). I could continue, but the list is already long. I've stayed in many guesthouses, hotels and airbnbs in South Africa, and this one is by far the worst one. We should have stayed two nights but left after the first and found another place to stay in Mossel bay.

I felt so cheated. Why? All this fantastic reviews, 5/5, were just lies. I read the bad reviews from earlier but now I could read the place was renovated and so good. It was not!! The two rooms we rented were real shaggy. My husband and I couldn´t sleep and the first thing we did next morning were to pay and leave. We leave in South Africa six month a year since 14 years and what we experienced at Brinkleys River Villages was far the worst.

Very quaint, rustic place where one can relax and enjoy some of the food. Good wines from Durbanville Hills winery. We had the Chardonnay @ R145. Also excellent craft beer from Glenhof. We also had some food platters, but these were immensely disappointing. It is extremely expensive (R185) for what you get - be warned!

One of my favorite places to visit in the Garden Route District. Cheap drinks, friendly people and bar staff, swimming pool, slots and more. A definite venue to visit in my opinion.

Bit of a dive. At least the staff is friendly. Place falling apart. At least there were a lot of plugs to charge phones etc. No coffee and tea for the morning which is a standard at any venue you stay

Although the staff were friendly and the food great, the room was not. Chalet no 19.It stinks as if a cigarette party was held in it. The bed comforter had cigarette burns. Brought it to receptions attention, but I guess the place was booked out.

👍👍 I enjoyed my time and food at 34 Degrees South. If you sit outside, you get treated to awesome views too of what can be described like Venice. Towards the latter part of the day, you'll see a gorgeous South African sunset (if there are no clouds). I had some wine by the glass, one of the few places...
