Amazing. I am a vegetarian and it is hard to find good quality food. Route 57 has one vegetarian starter and 1 Main dish and it both is out of this World. Best food i had in Africa!!!

This restaurant is part owned by the golfer Louis Oosthuizen. It's an upmarket restaurant serving some incredible food at quite reasonable prices. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, full of smiles, attentive and seemed to be there just when we needed her, even though we were sat outside. Lovely place to dress up smart and have a nice meal at.

This restaurant's unassuming exterior does a great job of hiding the delicious cuisine inside. One of the best in Mosselbay for sure.

Best steak I've ever tasted my entire life. The atmosphere is cosy and warm and the waiters will treat like queen/king. Loved it.

Ordered the fish and calamari combo, the fish was good, but the calamari was off. When I sent it back, after eating - without requesting a new plate of food or a free meal - the owner/manager very rudely came to my table and told me that I was wrong and that there was nothing wrong with the calamari. Very bad customer service from the senior staff.

The hake was fantastic. The waiter very helpful and friendly. The calamari was off and smelly. When I said as much to the waiter. The manager came and said.... " You can eat it, there is nothing wrong with the calamari." Why would I send something that my daughter and I ordered and paid for, back. Untouched. Makes no sence. Eat it ...NO! The experience was awful. Managers loud and unpleasant.

This is a rating for the experience not the food. The three times I visited the food was excellent and I want to return, BUT the two 'managers' made my experience awful and I am in two minds whether to return for the great food. Such a pity, thought I found my restaurant of choice.

Nice, tiny restaurant with interesting interior. A lot of great and local dishes are on the menu. I had the Lamp Curry and it was very delicious. I asked for extra 🌶️🌶️🌶️ and they did it great. They have a great selection of wines but no tapped beers. Always a visit worth!

Lovely atmosphere and the food was very good. The waiter that served us was very good and the owner friendly and helpful. Will recommend people to go there.

Used to be very upmarket and quite classy but not anymore. Be prepared to be greeted by someone in casual attire and do not expect a fish knife if you order a seafood dish. Too noisy if you were planning a romantic dinner. Food was good but also used to be mind blowing. All in all ok and staff was friendly in spite of a waiter that wasn’t aware that there are hake and fish of the day on the menu . Seriously, this is ‘Restaurant 101’. if you want to shop costume jewelry and gholf clothes, it’s next to the counter...

Staff dress to casual for semi formal restuarant. Need to be upgraded butee frequent regular, best ambiance in town all hours of day. Meat preparation need upgrade at times meat is tough, for senior people not enjoyable as the meat tend to be tough and dry. Having supper again tonight

The staff is awesome, they accommodated my pet on their outside are and especially catered for my fuzzy eating fur child. Gr8 food, tasty and atmosphere is awesome
