We enjoyed the 1-hour boat tour to the seal island. The people were kind, also to our kids. We saw a lot of seal and the smell was one of a kind. The sea water splashing over us was refreshing!

A great two hour boat cruise, led by Captain Lee and the Romonza crew. It was an absolute blast of a trip. The Shark and Seal sightings were very special. The crew were safety conscious and really hospitable. An absolute must to do when in the Mosselbay area.

The ladies at the ticket station were friendly and efficient. The tour itself (sunset cruise, 1h) was nothing out of this world. However, a nice activity to do with the family

Loved every second with the kids. Smooth trip with a nice guide. Saw seal island and you get very close. Value for money!!! Not forgetting that it's at the harbour with some of the nicest fish and chips we have eaten :-)

The Seal Island boat trip took about an hour, and was a nice experience. The visit to the island was very informative and we passed the island at about 50m, close enough to see the seals well enough. Binoculars are recommended to get an even better view of the seals.

Another AMAZING activity in Mossel Bay that was a real surprise and treat for us 😍🤩 🇿🇦 Romonza Boat Trips: The Romonza sunset cruise to Seal Island was such a unique activity (without the usual hordes of tourists - we visited during April)! I was at first very skeptical when I heard 'Sunset Cruise'. I have been on a lot of these types of trips and always been disappointed as we either return before actual sunset or there's always some lame excuse about why they couldnt keep sailing. However! This cruise is ACTUALLY a sunset cruise and we spent a good 2.5 hours on the water. We were lucky to even see an amazing moon rise, where the sky changed from oranges and yellows to soft pinks and purples 🧡💛💜🩷 🦭 The cruise takes you to seal island , home to over 2500 Cape Fur Seals and the island is surround by their greatest enemy - The Great White Shark. 🦈 🐬 🐳 Sometimes, you might even see dolphins and whales along the way 🍷 🥂 Oh, and we were allowed drinks on board, so we go to sip on wine as the sun set around us. Magical! . . . For someone who is afraid of boat's it was a pleasant and beautiful trip. Focused on nature the whole time. The crew makes you feel comfortable and secure. A beautiful view of Mossel Bay, Diaz Beach and Hartenbos.

We tried the Romonza Boat Trip tour. It was so lovely. We arrived quite late, but the gentlemen were still friendly and let us in. That was commendable and we were very grateful for that🙏🏾. We travelled all the way to the popular Seal Island and had the privilege of seeing about 4000 seals and their babies in total. The weather was a bit cold, but did not ruin our experience. The seating arrangements on the boats are a bit concerning for children as children tend to be short and the seating is quite awkward. It forces parents to hold their children in place throughout the entire trip, which can become an inconvenience. Overall, the trip was lovely and the gentlemen were very informative about the seal.

A bit expensive at R400 p.p. Great sight seeing thou. The sun was a scorcher but the atmosphere on the boat was exceptional. Friendly crowd

This was a great experience. Very friendly staff, from the time I called to book the trip, to the deckhand and skipper. Beautiful views of Mossel Bay from the water, and interesting information provided about the seals as we rounded the island. Altogether something really worth doing.

We booked with the Romonza and when we arrived for a sundowner cruise we were informed no cruise was happening due to the mechanical problems and they couldn’t find the captain, would have been nice if we were informed well before the time. No one from Romonza phoned and followed up with us, totally unprofessional. My advice book with the Kiyana, Captain Jacques and his crew of interns are very professional and welcoming

Very friendly.. Enjoyed it very much The crew was very friendly and answered all our questions. Even questions not related to the seals. Was great seeing and hearing all about these amazing creatures. R180 well spend. Would definitely recommend everyone to go to Romonza.

Had a great time - did the seal island tour. Takes less than an hour and was seamless. Arrived 5 minutes before the tour start, hopped onto boat, and we were off. Got to see some seals jumping in water like dolphins, circled the island once, paused by the shark cage divers and saw a fin of a great white shark, and a nice peaceful ride back. Only comments would be that it would’ve been nice to circle the island twice, not once... it’s so short! But it’s also inexpensive so might go again. Special shoutout to Kay who is the woman that works in the Romonza office - she was beyond sweet, honest, and helpful :) she told us the truth about whale sightings and was super patient in our indecisiveness. Thanks!
