Our guide Ben was excellent! We enjoyed our tour of the farm, getting to feed the ostriches and hold a baby. The restaurant was also great, the ostrich filet was amazing and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return. It's a must stop in the area!

This working farm was badly affected by covid with tourism loss but is rebuilding. The tour was very informative and interesting. Had Ostrich steak at the restaurant afterwards which was very tasty.

Ben, our guide, was great. So much to know and love about these strange, unique creatures beyond the fact that the eggs are extremely strong. Gestation is 42 days, for those in the know that is the meaning of life itself 🤣. I would highly recommend you take the hour or so to visit. Also includes a well stocked store, coffee shop also there but we didn't try it.

We went with our granddaughter. It was wonderful. The guide was so kind to take us to feed the ostriches and share with us a bit of information about them, although it was close to his shift end. He shared how they are fed, bred, and cared for; their mannerisms, and how the ostriches care for their eggs. It was very interesting and great fun! When in Oudtshoorn we will surely go there again. Thank you so very much for your kindness.

Unexpected highlight! The tour is easy to recommend because you do learn a lot about these quirky creatures and the industries surrounding them. A tour starts approx. every 40 minutes all day and they don't need to be strict about group size. If you can't find time for the tour, you can enjoy a great lunch in the restaurant and feed the ostriches (just ask for packs of feed at the till in the gift shop... They cost around 25 rand). The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the shop is full of interesting ostrich products, especially decorated eggs and leather goods.

I loved this visit. My husband and I were visiting from New Zealand and I told him I really want to see and hold a baby ostrich so we headed to the farm and wow it was so lovely. We did the tour and it was great learning all the awesome facts about ostriches.

We stopped by here for a couple hours. You can buy some corn sacks to feed to the ostriches (we bought around 20 haha). It was a lot of fun to feed them. Be carefull with hand feeding them, they come picking at you with quite some speed haha. We thought they were very very cute. There is also a possibility to do a tour, to have dinner and there is a little shop.

Johan and Louise Keller are gems straight out of Heaven. We got married on their Ostrich show farm on 30 October 2021 and the magic they made for us in less than two weeks to prepare was out of this world. After the person from the first venue dropped us they were more than willing to help. They really made out wedding day something very special and the guests still rave about the vibe we had there. Johan and Louise me and my wife appreciate all tjlhe effort you've put in to make this day memorable. I highly recommend you

We really enjoyed our tour of the highgate farm - we saw and learnt about ostriches (there were many facts I did not know!) and held new born chicks and even fed some. It was really a great outing for the family and our guide Ben was superb.
