Beautiful holiday farm with big dam and shade trees. We enjoyed hiking to, and cooling off in the rockpools. Stars are as bright as LED lights at night. We felt well rested and recharged after our 2 night stay, and enjoyed the fact that there are no cellphone reception so you can clear your head properly.

This time, we decided for the farmhouse stay. A nice room in the old farmhouse. Our hosts received us with old style hospitality and the breakfast was very nice where everything, up to the butter, was home made. Ample opportunities for a walk in the surrounding. We loved the drive coming from Brandwacht, but the drive home via Herbertsdale was even nicer. We will be back soon to try some of the 4WD tracks. A lovely place with a beautiful surrounding and close to Mosselbaai and George. Ideal for both a short trip or a longer holiday.

Awesome place in the outback, if you want all the amenities forget it. You will have the calm and serenity with no TV, cell phone just peace an tranquility. The thrill is to want to chill. Be scared and be prepared.

we had a lot of kombi trouble on our trip , the owners of the farm was and is such amazingly special people, they made us feel so at home , the farm is in the mountains, with beautiful laid out campsites, clean and well kept camping facilities, free grazing farm animals, we did not just enjoy our stay there but feels like we were more than just visitors it felt like we were family at home away from home , if you love the outdoors and clean fresh air and really good people i can recommend Bonniedale to anyone, we are definitely going to go back again and again, it was an amazing experience, loved everything about it and most of all the owners made it exceptionally special for us .

Second time we camped here. And just wonderful everytime to get away from everything and everyone. This time at the private Krans Camp. Loved every moment and the swim in the rockpools.

One of the more challenging routes in the area. If you have clearance issues, there are easier options to take along the route, but don't let it keep you from giving it a go. Definitely worth a visit.
