These places can be inconsistent and this was just my first time, but the counter service was genuinely great and the young woman who made our burritos made them with care and listened to exactly what we wanted. You could tell she was happy to greet and serve us. The food was carefully crafted and delicious. Chicken was perfectly seasoned (not bland and watery like most burrito places), veggies were fresh, and sauces were authentic! And it was affordable for sure. I will definitely go back, I hope it's as good the second time around.

Great food and prices. Portions are just right and Maverick was great and so on his game. Definitely worth regular visits.

Visited this restaurant twice now and have been pleasantly surprised each time. My first order (lunch)was an online order for a chicken burrito. The website was super easy to use and gave me the option to select what time was convenient for me to pick up my order. (I placed it the night before) The chicken is the most flavorful chicken I have ever had, super seasoned with great Mexican flavors. The burrito was stuffed with all my selections and an excellent value for the price. I ate the whole thing and didn't need dinner later. I visited the second time for dinner and had the 3 taco's with steak... Steak was super seasoned and so tender! The portion sizes are huge, however you tend to overeat because the food is so good! This brand new restaurant has a few kinks to work out, but the food quality and taste make up for that. I visit St. Albans once a week and now have a definite 'go to' place for my lunch now. My only regret is I didn't snap photos of the food to show.

Awesome food— the burrito I ordered was bursting with fresh flavors and heat for a wonderful combo. The beef had a great seasoned flavor.... superb! The chips have the perfect crunch and the service was super quick! Will come back and recommend others do too!

I have the luxury of traveling a lot for work and because of that I also have the luxury of visiting a lot of restaurants. Some are terrible. Some are sub-par but every now and then I stumble across a diamond. LA Casa Bar & Grill in St Albans Vermont is in my opinion the hope diamond. First the service is prompt and with a genuine smile. The options are plentiful. The prices are reasonable but for the love of God the refried beans will make you feel like you just won the PowerBall. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely. I would love to keep this place my little secret but then non of you would get to experience a truly wonderful meal.

The food was tasty and affordable and the service is good. The portions are good size, my wife and I split an entree and side and we left stuffed.

I had such a great experience last week. I placed my order by phone, the person was so helpful and patient in answering my questions and they went out of their way to help with my mobility issues and when I got home, I was so pleased that the order was right and SO DELICIOUS! THANK YOU!!! Probably see you again VERY soon. Lol.

Food is good. More authentic ingredients like mexican sour cream and queso fresco would make this place a 5 star. Service... maybe get rid of the middle schoolers behind the counter or provide some professional training. Would be nice to eat on a plate or a tray...

There was so much excess water from the pulled chicken tacos it made them soggy and the pulled chicken was bland, almost like it wasn't even seasoned. The burrito was also bland and the fries were soggy too. For $50 for 3 meals and 2 sides it was definitely disappointing. Also, their website greyed out items that weren't available, but then when we called to order they were out of almost everything we wanted even though their website didn't reflect that. Lastly, their Google business listing, their website and their online menu all had different names for their business (La Casa Loco Bar & Grill, La Casa @ Nelly's and Nelly's & La Casa). Not very professional. 😕

First time I went, the food was good, went later in the day so chicken seemed a little dry but was still flavorful. Younger guy in the line in front of me (while flirting with the young girl working) added the guacamole to his order and received 2 scoops so I thought okay that’s a pretty good deal! But I was sadly mistaken and got barely a scoop! Oh well it tasted good and was a good size portion for the price. But the second time I went, no one in line in front of me felt super rushed, barely a scoop of things I wanted to add, and the chicken was kind of rubbery this time. Not sure if I will give it another shot. Was really hoping for better.
