Amazing views, fantastic fresh air and quite simple track. But my advice is, that not worth to walk from Mestia, because there is several kilometres uninteresting and dirty road, better is to go with car till bridge, than on foot.

Even though it sometimes doesn’t look like a glacier because of the sand, it is still a beautiful sight! When I arrived a small part of the glacier fell down, giving the awesome blue ice color to the bottom of the glacier. The hike itself to get here is nice as well, first a bit through the forest and then climbing some rocks. I’d definitely take a taxi to take you to the bridge, walking this part is definitely not the most fun to do and you’re not missing any of the views by taking the car.
