Egrisi range with its Tobavarchkhili lakes - absolutely heaven! I upload almost all photos which I took during the trekking . (From Khaishi to Mukhuri) Tobavarchkhili lakes are located in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region on Egrisi mountain range. The trek crosses Egrisi mountains which separate Svaneti from Samegrelo. This is a very diverse and mystical place with magical lakes. There weather changes softly, so maybe warm sunshine turns into magical mist and you'll be able to see the most beautiful thing - dance of the mist. The trail is hard. Totally distance is almost 80 km long and you have to climb up and down two icy passes except two other ones. In a good weather and if you are swift walker you can hike this trail in 4 days. So, go and explore pure nature! It's long distance and maybe tiring but it's really worth it!

Mistic Tobavarchkhili lakes(silver lakes) are one of the favourite route in Georgia for backpackers.5 beautifull lakes lying on Egrisi range are really worth to forget about your comfort zone and get out from civilization during several days, depends which trail will you choose to follow. Most spectacular option is Mukhuri-Khaishi trail, connecting Svaneti and Samegrelo regions and giving a chance of unforgettable adventure passing forest and almost jungle areas, snowy passes, alpine rocky terrain, mountain rivers and shephard huts.Take a GPS device with you cause markings can be unvisible at some places due to high grass.Other option is to finish in Squri village following Magana gorge.

One of the greatest hiking spots in Georgia and a dream for every Georgian hiker! The Mt. Chitagvala overlooking the Tobavarchkhili lake is a great sight. Amazing scenery all over the trail! If you are planning to visit Georgia and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region put the trail as your first destination!

It's a lake of salt, you'll enjoy the water even if you don't know the swimming, because of the salt density no one can submerge in the water and die unless and untill you'll drink a lot of salt water, it's an amazing place with such a natural beauty and full of salt but the water is so clean, if you are planning to go somewhere you must visit this place because this water also cleanse your body also de- toxify your body. So you must visit this place in your life time, so guys plan for some day to visit this beautiful place.

The lake is simply wonderful. Recommend to nature lovers 🙌🏾 7 day hike to see all 5 lakes in area. Landscape is of variety, previous experience in backpacking is an additional bonus. Crossing several rivers, cliffs, unmarked paths with high grass needs to be walked.
